        이스라엘 에프알 교수가 지도한 김영진(45) 교수의 학위 논문은 “고대 근동 제국의 통신제도에 관한 연구”이다. 본 논문은 고대 통신 분야에 관한 세계 첫 논문이다. 주전 1천 년대 앗시리아 제국과 바벨론 제국과 페르시아 제국이 넓은 영토와 다양한 민족과 문화적 배경으로 구성된 제국을 효율 행정단위로 통치하기 위한 수단으로 통신제도를 완비했음을 보여주고 있으며, 앗시리아 제국부터 제국 전체를 연결하는 통신제도는 19세기 오TM만터키시대까지 지속되었음을 입증한다.

      • 전방십자인대 재건술 이후 이완된 전방십자인대에 시행한 고주파 에너지 열 수축

        목적: 전방십자인대 재건술을 시행하고 발생된 전방십자인대 이완에 대해서 고주파 에너지를 이용한 열 수축을 시행하고 기능적인 이점이 있는지 알아보고자 하였다. 대상 및 방법: 1999년 10월부터 2006년 3월까지 관절경하에 전방십자인대 재건술을 시행하고 이차 관절경 수술을 시행한 133례중에서 재건된 전방십자인대가 이완되고 긴장성이 없어 보이는 16례를 대상으로 하였고, 평균 추시 기간은 20.4개월이었으며, 평균 나이는 33.5세이었고, 12례가 남자, 4례가 여자였다. 이완된 전방십자인대에 대해서 2 단계 강도의 양극성 고주파 에너지를 이용한 열 수축을 시행하였다. 객관적 및 주관적 평가 지표로는 관절 운동 각도, Lysholm 슬관절 점수, Tegner 활동 점수, Lachman 검사, pivot shift 검사, IKDC 점수 등을 이용하였다. 통계학적인 검증은 Wilcoxon signed-rank test를 이용하여 유의 수준 0.05에서 판정하였다 결과: 평균 Lysholm 슬관절 점수는 술전 평균 $82.2{\pm}5.2(77{\sim}85)$점에서 $85.2{\pm}4.8(82{\sim}90)$점으로 통계학적 의미가 있는 좋은결과를 보였다(P=0.04). 전방 스트레스 방사선 사진 상에서 술전 평균 $5.4{\pm}4.6(3{\sim}10) mm$에서 술후 평균 $2.1{\pm}1.9(0{\sim}4)mm$의 전방 전위 소견이 관찰되어 의미 있는 통계학적으로 의미 있는 감소 소견이 관찰되었다(P=0.02). Lachman 검사, IKDC 점수 등은 술전에 비해 의미 있는 차이가 있었지만(P=0.04), 슬관절 관절 운동의 정도, Tegner 활동 점수는 의미 있는 차이가 없었다. 결론: 전방십자인대 재건술 이후에 발생되는 전방십자인대 이완에서 고주파 에너지를 이용한 열 수축 방법은 안전하면서도 증상 호전이 기대되므로 시도해 볼 수 있는 좋은 술식으로 사료된다. Purpose: To evaluate the clinical results of the patients who underwent radiofrequency thermal shrinkage (RFTS) for treatment of anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) laxity after ACL reconstruction. Material and Methods: From October 1999 to March 2006, we performed 133 cases of ACL reconstruction. Among them we experienced 16 patients who had the laxity of reconstructed ACL in second look arthroscopy. Mean follow-up was 20.4 months. Mean age was 33.5 years. 12 cases were male and 4 cases were female. The elongated ACL were treated by bipolar radiofrequency energy with an output of grade II. Subjective and objective parameters were utilized in analyses, such as: the mean range of motion, Lysholm knee score, Tegner activity score, Lachman test, IKDC score. Wilcoxon signed-rank test was used to perform the data analysis. P<0.05 was considered to be statistically significant. Results: Postoperative mean Lysholm knee score (preop: $82.2{\pm}5.2(77{\sim}85))$ (P=0.04), postop: $85.2{\pm}4.8$(82-90)) and anterior displacement by the Telos stress test (preop: $5.4{\pm}4.6(3{\sim}10)mm$, postop: $2.1{\pm}1.9(0{\sim}4)mm)$ (P=0.02), Lachman's test, and IKDC scores (P=0.04) demonstrated significant differences statistically compared to the preoperative. There were no statistical differences in mean range of motion, Tegner activity scale. Conclusions: Arthroscopic shrinkage for the ACL laxity after ACL reconstruction with radiofrequency device showed good clinical results and was applicable operative technique.

      • 프리캐스트 콘크리트 교량바닥판 female-female이음부의 전단실험

        본 연구는 수직전단하중에 대한 프리캐스트 바닥판간 이음부거동을 규명하고 수직전단력 전달에 유리한 이음부 구조도출을 위해 female-female 형식의 이음부를 제안하고, 실험 및 유한요소해석을 수행한 것이다. 경사각, 이음부깊이/높이 및 구속응력을 변수로 총 18개의 실험체에 대한 실험 및 유한요소해석결과 ,이음부의균열저항성 개선을 위해서는 경사각이 60。, D/H가 1/4일 경우가 유리하며 측방향구속으로 이음부를 압축상태로 유지하는 것이 이음부 균열방지에 효과적임을 알았다. Increase of traffic volume in recent years results in deterioration of the bridge slab, which is directly subjected ot vehicle loads. Where extensive repair is necessary, replacement or enhancement of load carrying capacity using full depth precast concrete deck is often the most practical solution. Precast deck system has transverse joints between adjacent precast decks. Vertical shear forces occur when a vehicle wheel load is carried by precast decks and the joints are used to transfer the load to an adjacent deck. Effective load transfer between precast decks is critical for integral behavior. Finite element analysis and tests were run on the proposed femal-to-female type joint. 18 joint specimens were tested to investigate the effects of angle. D/H, and confining stress under static load. Results indicate joint with angle of 60$^{\circ}$ and D/H of 1/4 shows the improved load carrying capacity on crack. It is effective in protecting the cracking of joints to keep the joint in compression using confining stress.

        이해를 위한 문장 처리에서 통사 요인과 의미 요인

        Studies in sentence comprehension reveal that conflicting views currently exist about the part played by syntax. The autonomy model of syntax processing claims that the operation of syntactic processor is not guided or intervened by an assessment of the plausible semantic relations while the automaticity model views that the crucial properties of sentence to which listeners normally attend are semantic rather than syntactic. The present experiments were carried out to examine the listener's on-line accessibility to the surface structure of sentences, and to find out any possible effects of semantic factors on syntactic processing. The method of click monitoring was adopted and the RT was measured throughout the Experiments I, Ⅱ, Ⅳ and V with the exception of Experiment Ⅲ in which subjects were asked about the semantic relations implied in the stimulus sentence. The on-line measures of RT showed no difference of word-order effects either in the materials of both concrete and abstract sentences (Experiment I and Ⅱ) or between the reversible and nonreversible sentences (Experiment Ⅳ). To be surprisingly enough when compared with the English data, moreover, there was no difference in the syntactic computational difficulty between the subject relatives and the object relatives (Experiment Ⅲ).On the other hand, the sentence containing the left branching relatives (the right branching sentences) were consistently superior to the center-embedded relative sentences, the results being due to the left-to-right syntactic processing. In addition, the word meaning coherence made significantly reduce the monitoring RT in overall levels of syntactic complexity without interaction (Experiment V). The shortened RT without interaction of semantic factor with syntactic structure supports the automaticity claims. However, the fact that difference between the right branching and self-embedded sentences occurred only when there is more than one relative (Experiment Ⅲ) enables one to favor the autonomy model in so far as no additional load is imposed upon the upper-limit of the short-term processing capacity. Accordingly, mental strategies for the Korean language comprehension were proposed, in which the syntactic processing undergoes the left-to right coding procedure and the semantic processing represents the bottom-up procedure.

        한국산 배추흰나비(Pieris Rapae)의 유전적 다형(多型)에 관한 연구

        It is well known that the cabbage-butterfly has a distinct 3 seasonal types, such as a spring, summer and autumn type. To investigate the seasonal and geographical variation of cabbage-butterflies, 200 butterflies were collected at Taejeon in each season and 100 butterflies of spring type were collected at Cheju, Pusan, Taegu and Taejeon. The genetic polymorphism and gene frequency at 3 enzyme systems with 4 loci, α-GPDH, MDH_m, MDH_S and PGM₂, were screened by the horizontal electrophoretic technique. The average heterozygosity at each locus in spring, summer and autumn types were 0.155, 0.182 and 0.246, respectively. Among the different seasonal types, the highest genetic similarity was 0.942 between the summer and autumn types while the lowest similarity was 0.930 between the spring and autumn types. The average number of alleles at each locus in Cheju, Pusan, Taegu and Taejeon population was 8.0, 3.0, 2.5 and 2.5, respectively. The average heterozygosity in Cheju, Pusan, Taegu and Taejeon population was 0.102, 0.148, 0.178 and 0.136, respectively. Among 4 different populations, the highest genetic similarity was 0.966 between the Taegu and Taejeon populations whereas the lowest similarity was 0.924 between the Cheju and Taegu populations. On the basis of electrophoretic data, the genetic similarity of inter populations was very low.
