종교는 사람들에게 희망을 주고 있는가?

이 연구의 목적은 종교 활동 참여가 사람들에게 희망을 주는지를 실증적으로 검증하는데 있다. 불평등이 확대되고 계층 상승에 대한 희망이 약화되는 상황에서 종교 활동 참여가 개인의 상향 이동 전망에 어떤 영향을 미치는지를 분석했다. 이를 위해 한국노동패널 17차 자료(2014년)를 활용하여 교차분석, 위계적 로지스틱 회귀분석과 이항 로지스틱 회귀분석을 수행하였다. 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 분석대상이 된 표본의 거의 절반은 본인의 노력으로도 사회경제적 지위의 향상이 불가능하다는 부정적 상향 이동 전망을 하고 있었다. 둘째, 종교 활동 참여는 상향 이동 전망에 긍정적인 영향을 미치지만, 영향력의 크기는 인구학적·사회경제적 특성에 따른 전망의 차이를 상쇄할 정도로 강력하지는 않았다. 셋째, 그럼에도 종교 활동 참여는 중·하류층의 상향 이동 전망에 일정하게 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이 논문은 이상의 결과를 토대로 종교의 복지 역할에 대한 시사점을 제시하였다. This study aims to examine the effects of participating in religious activities on the prospect of upward mobility empirically. This study analyzes whether religious activities have a positive influence on the individual prospect of upward mobility in the current situation where inequality of income has been widespread as well as the wish to rise social status has been eroded. With cross-tab analysis and hierarchical and binomial logistic regression, this study is conducted by utilizing the seventeenth data (in the year of 2014) of Korean Labor and Income Panel Study. There are three primary results of this study. First, almost half of the samples who were analyzed in the study do not think that it is possible for them to improve their socio-economic status only with their own efforts. Second, the participation in religious activities has a positive influence on the prospect of upward mobility even if demographic and social-economic conditions were controlled. But implications of their participation of religious activities related to the prospect of upward mobility are not able to be enough to counterbalance demographic and socio-economic characteristics. Third, the effect of religious activities on prospect of upward mobility is only available to those socioeconomic status is low or middle. This study carries the implications for the role of religious welfare on the ground of the three major results.

We report a case of papillary eccrine adenoma occurring in a 39-year-old male who had a walnut sized, firm nodule on the right knee without subjective symptoms. Histopathologic exammination revealed a well circumscribed, non-capsulated dermal nodule consisting of multiple ducts with various sizes. These ducts were composed of double layered epithelial cells in most areas, but in some areas severe intraluminal papillation snd pseudostratification into the lumen were seen and the lumina were filled with a homogenous eosinophilic substance and partially with calcium deposition. Immunohistochemical studies with S-100 antigen and csrcinoembryonic sntigen (CEA) were also performed. Positivity for these sntigens strongly supports the hypothesis that this unusual neoplasm differentiates toward the eccrine secretory coil. (Kor J Dermatol 28(1): 107 lll, 1000)

Marie Unna형 유전성 감모증

We report a family suffering from Marie Unnas hypotrichosis (8 members affected in 4 generations). At birth they had normal hairs, subsequently loss of hair on the scalp, eyebrow and eyelash. At about 3rd years, coarse twisted scalp hair regrow until puberty when progressive loss from vertex and scalp margin was noticed. On physical examination and lsboratory studies, there was no associated abnormality in the patients. The scanning electron microscopic examination of the affected hair showed cuticular peeling and twisting or angulation of hair shaft. (Kor J Dermatol 28(1): 112 117, 1SSO)

Variable-pitch axial-flow pump has an advantage of preventing the breakdown by pitching impeller angle, leading to the performance improvement. In order to make an effective use of the axial-flow pump under its various operating conditions such as flow rate and rotating velocity, it is of significant importance to find the best performance point for different impeller angles in Q-H curve. In this study, the effect of impeller angles on the performance of 1,200 mm axial-flow pump under varied flow rates was numerically investigated using the commercial CFD code, ANSYS CFX ver. 17.1. The numerical results of the present study and existing experimental data for the efficiency and total head were compared to evaluate the reliability of the numerical method and they showed a good agreement.

음경 귀두에 발생한 한국성 림프관종

We report a case of penile lymphangioma circumscriptum developed in a 22- year-old male soldier. Rice-sized papule on glans penis was noted at birth and progressed to yellow straw-colored, peanut-sized, asymptomatic grouped papulovesicles resembling frog spawn. The predilection sites of lymphangioma circumscriptum are the abdomen, axilla and tongue. Glans penis is a very rare site. Histopathologic findings showed papillornatosis, hyperkeratosis and cystically dilated lymph vessels lined by a single layer of endothelial cells.

dLoran 성능 커버리지 예측 시뮬레이션

eLoran 테스트베드의 국제적 요구성능을 충족하기 위해서는 선박 입출항 항로의 ASF 측정뿐만 아니라 보정정보의 제공을 통해 사용자의 위치정확도를 개선시켜야 한다. 항만을 입출항하는 선박의 항법요구 성능인 국제해사기구(IMO)의 HEA (Harbor Entrance and Approach) 요구성능은 10미터 이내의 측위정확도를 요구하고 있다. 그러므로 본 논문에서는 eLoran 테스트베드 내에서 신규 송신국 및 보정기준국(Differential Loran Station)의 위치에 따른 IMO HEA 측위정확도 성능 도달 가능성에 대해 시뮬레이션을 통해 예측해 본다. In order to meet the international performance requirements for eLoran testbed operation, it is necessary to measure ASF(Additional Secondary Factor) of vessel’s route as well as differential correction and the provision using differential Loran (dLoran) station operation. According to HEA (Harbor Entrance and Approach) performance of the IMO, the position accuracy should be within 10meters. Therefore this paper presents the possibility to meet the position accuracy of the IMO HEA through simulation results.

都市의 土地利用分類體系에 關한 硏究

A city is the limited land space within which complicated human activities-political, economic, social, cultural, recreational, etc-are taken place. Every urban activities and function is bound to be performed ultimately to use the land itself or the structures constructed on land. In this respect urban land use provides the physical setting that accomodates the human activities. Therefore, urban alnd use data provide, in the long term period, an important source of information to establish ① Master plan of cities ② Transportation planning ③ Public facilities and utilities planning and in the short term period, has extensive uses about ① Zoning and subdivision control ② Basic land use policy of alnd development and renewal projects ③ Public information to persuade the citizens for city planning projects ④ Investment information for private firms and individuals. But these urban land use informations can be acquired only through practical field survey, which can be easily carried on after preparing a rational land use classification system. Though different urban land use classification system may be adopted to varied characteristics of each region's and city's land use features, and different purposeof using the land use data, it is more desirable to use the standardized land use classification system for following reasons. ① Field survey tasks are performed more simply and conveniently, so sureying times and expenditures can be curtailed down. ② Collected survey data can be easily arranged, and also can be handled through mechanized system(EDPS) ③ If the diverse classification systems were used to different time and places, it is apt to be that the past land use data become useless, that mutual comparing analysis and national adding up process of each rgion's and city's data are difficult. So standard urban land use classification system has to preserve the finest clarity and flexibility, and has to satisfy the following criteria. ① Classification categories must be based on discernible and very detailed items, so that field surveyor can fill up the sheets with the least self-judgement. ② Without any changes on basic structure of existing classification system and/or nullifying the past land use data, standard classification system must have a much possibility to set or add new categories, to annex existing categories, and to reorganize the categories for special use. ③ Standard classification system must be organized so as to be able to deal with the data using mechanical system(especially, EDPS). In this paper, having analyzed the legal, administrative classification methods which are fundamental ways of formal documents easily obtainable in Korea, and having reviewed the land use classification system used in developed nations, standard urban land use classification system suitable for peculiar characteristics of Korean cities was proposed. The classification system proposed in this paper adopted four-digit decimal coding system, which actually expands from 9 one-digit categories(2 of which cover manufacturing) to 53 two-digit categories, 182 three-digit categories, and 645 four-digit categories.

地域學의 統合的 接近을 위한 復合模型 樹立에 관한 硏究

Regional science is new-born and inter-disciplinary (or multi-disciplinary) science. Therefore, the substance and scope of the regional science as a study field is not so clear, and real tasks of regional develoyament as practical affairs are very complex and oftenly confused. This study proceeds to redefine the concepts of region at the outset, secondly to scrutinize the characteristics, causes and background of regional problem, thirdly overviewing many theories and techniques of neighboring science, which is connected with regional development, and fourthly to establish a complex model for regional development through synthesizing the regional development process with related theories and techniques. 1) Redefinition of the concepts of region comprehends following four elements. ① The static, homogenious land area which is characterized by natural resources and artificial conditions. ② The economic location displaying specialized function and dynamic surrounding regions that communicate and interact with the location. ③ the community as human group based on land spaces. ④ A local government which is organized by residents or administrative boundary divided by central government for executing national policy. 2) Rogional problems rudimentally originate from the facts that every nation, developed or underdeveloped, pursuit a rapid and efficient economic growth, thus bringing about sophistcated problems of. ① regional disequilibrium and depressed region, ② explosive urbanization and complicated urban problem ③ exhaustion of resources and environmental disruption. 3) Regional science not only borrowed many theories and techniques from neighboring social sciences, such as geography, economics, sociology, politics and various engineering fields, but also developed by itselt useful analytical tools and applying strategies. The proposed Complex Model for regional development (see following diagram) exhibits the list of related theories and techniques, mutual relationship of them, and applicable flow systems to practical regional development procedure.
