아동의 부정적 정서표현에 대한 어머니의 반응과 부모의 양육행동, 아동의 공감과 정서조절 능력이 사회적 유능성에 미치는 영향

본 연구에서는 인구사회학적 변인, 부정적 정서표현에 대한 어머니의 반응, 부모의 양육행동, 아동의 공감 및 정서조절 능력이 아동의 사회적 유능성에 미치는 상대적 영향력을 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 초등학교 4, 5, 6학년 학생 636명과 해당 학급의 담임교사 26명을 연구대상으로 하였다. 아동의 사회적 유능성은 아동의 자기 보고 및 해당 학급의 담임교사가 아동에 대한 질문지에 응답한 자료로 조사하였다. 연구 결과 첫째, 아동이 평정한 사회적 유능성에 영향을 미치는 가장 큰 요인은 아동의 적응적 정서조절 능력이었으며 성적, 감정코칭 반응, 공감능력의 조망취하기 등의 순으로 사회적 유는성에 영향을 미쳤다.둘째, 교사가 평정한 아동의 사회적 유능성에는 적응적 정서조절 능력, 성별, 성적, 학년의 인구사회학적인 변인, 부정적 정서표현에 대한 어머니의 과민반응이 영향을 미쳣다.이러한 결과는 아동의 사회적 유능성 향상 프로그램에 아동의 정서조절, 공감 능력의 함양과 아동 정서에 대한 이해 및 감정코칭 반응을 위한 부모교육의 내용이 포함되어야 함을 나타낸다. This study examined the relative influences of general characteristics, mother``s reactions to children``s negative emotions, parental rearing behaviors, children``s empathy, emotional regulation on children``s social competence. The participants in this study were comprised of 636 children in the fourth, fifth, sixth grades of elementary school and 26 teachers in charge of them. Data of children``s self-report and the questionnaires which teachers in charge responded to about the children were used for children``s social competence. T-test, the analysis of variance and hierarchical regression analysis were done to research the relation among variables and influence. First of the results, the biggest factor that influenced the children``s social competence children self-rated is adaptive emotional regulation and other factors much influenced according to the order listed; exam results, emotion coaching reaction, taking views of empathic ability. Secondly, children``s social competence teacher rated were affected by adaptive emotional regulation and general characteristics of gender, exam results, grade and maternal hypersensitivity reaction to children``s negative emotion. Theseresults show the program that improves children``s social competence should involve the content, which consist of developing children``s emotional regulation and empathic ability, understanding children``s feeling, education for parents to build emotion coaching reaction.
