패션텍스타일로서 E-Textile의 사례 및 유형분석 연구

본 연구는 패션텍스타일로서의 E-Textile에 대한 새로운 디자인의 이론 틀과 관점을 제시하는 연구로 패션과 디자인 영역으로 범위를 한정하여 E-Textile과 관련한 연구, 디자인, 프로젝트 사례들을 수집하고 E-Textile의 유형에 따라 사례들에서 도출된 유형들을 분류하여 기술하였다. 또한, 메간 엠 퀄크 외(Meghan M. Quirk 외, 2009)의 이론에 근거하여, 구성(Composition)과 재현(Simulation) 2개의 기본축이 되는 유형을 선정하였으며 세부 카테고리 유형으로 직물조직, 표면처리, 의복 디테일과 입체구조, 표면의 변형, 형태와 구조의 변형, 상호작용의 총 6개 E-Textile 유형이 도출되었다. 연구의 결과는 첫째, E-Textile의 전자재료는 기능적 속성과 미적, 감각적 속성까지 모두 수용 가능한 재료이며 둘째, E-Textile의 인터페이스 및 착용자, 환경 간 상호작용은 모두 의복의 표현 형식과 관계된다. 셋째, 전통 텍스타일의 디자인 기법, 원리에 기반한 E-Textile에 대한 접근법은 E-Textile의 인터페이스 내부에서 이루어지는 섬유와 전자 재료간의 관계, 외부환경 또는 착용자와 E-Textile간에 관계 등 그 상관관계를 파악하는데 용이한 것으로 요약된다. This study discusses the concept of E-Textile as a fashion-textile and suggests the new frame for analysis. It examines the related studies, designs, project cases on E-Textile practiced within the current fashion domain and delineates the categorization of types drawn from the case studies. In addition, based on the theories of Meghan M. Quirk and Tom L. Martin, two basic axes were selected for composition and simulation. The detailed subcategories were Textile Structure, Surface Treatment, Garment Detail and 3D-Structure, Surface Alteration, Modifying 3D Form, and Interaction. A total of six E-Textile types were derived. First, the electronic material of E-Textile is acceptable material both functional and aesthetic and sensory attributes. Second, the interface of E-Textile, interaction between wearer and environment are all related to the expression form of clothing. Third, the approach to E-Textile based on the design technique and principle of traditional textile is to grasp the relationship between the fiber and electronic material inside the interface of E-Textile, the relationship between external environment or wearer and E-Textile It is easy to summarize.
