        수종 전통 한약 처방에 대한 혈관 이완 활성 연구

        Objectives : High blood pressure (also called Hypertension), which is the blood pressure that is higher than normal, is a chronic disease and causes various complications. Historically, Traditional Herbal Prescriptions (THP) have treated many diseases. However, there are not many studies on the treatment of hypertension with THP, very few studies have investigated the interactions between the co-administration of synthetic anti-hypertensives and THP. Therefore, the objective of the present study was to investigate the vasorelaxant activities of 10 THP in rat thoracic aortas pre-contracted with potassium chloride (KCl). Methods : An electric extractor was used to extract THP in distilled water for 2h. Rat thoracic aortas were isolated and pre-contracted using KCl in organ chambers containing 10 ml Krebs Henseleit (KH) buffer. THP extracts were added in increasing concentrations (10-1000 μg/mL) to investigate vasorelaxant activities. The vasorelaxant activities induced by THP were expressed as a percentage in response to contraction generated by KCl. Results : Among the 10 THP, Dangguisu-san, Mahwang-tang, Bulwhangeumjeonggi-san, Jakyakgamcho-tang, and Hyangsapyeongwi-san showed significant vasorelaxant activities. Maekmundong-tang, Bojungikgi-tang, Samryeongbaekchul-san, Yukmijihwang-tang, and Insampaedok-san showed no significant effect. Also, in co- administration with amlodipine, Mahwang-tang showed higher vasorelaxant activities than amlodipine alone, and Hyangsapyeongwi-san showed greater vasorelaxant activities at low concentrations but inhibited amlodipine's vasorelaxant activities at high concentrations. Conclusion : The results of these experiments are expected to provide useful data to establish guidelines for THPs and co-administration with western antihypertensive drugs to treat hypertension.

        웰니스관광 활성화를 위한 한의학 콘텐츠 개발 연구 -경기도 파주시 허준 묘역을 중심으로-

        코로나19 규제가 완화되면서 국내 및 국외 여행객은 점차 증가하고 있고, 의료관광산업은 최근 세계적으로주목받고 있으며 높은 소득을 창출하여 매년 성장하고 있다. 이에 본 연구의 목적은 한방의료관광에서 웰니스관광으로 발전되는 시점에 맞춰 서울과 접근성이 좋으며 허준 묘역이 있는 파주를 중심으로 웰니스 콘텐츠 발굴 연구를 수행하였다. 그 결과로 첫째, 파주시에서 허준의 묘비가 발견된 것을 근거로 파주시에 ‘한방웰니스 클러스터’를 구축하여 허준과동의보감을 가장 잘 체험 할 수 있는 콘텐츠 발굴과 체험관을 배치하여 한의학의 본향이라는 지역의 이미지를 공고히 해야 한다. 둘째, ‘동의보감 한의학 콘텐츠’를 발굴하기 위해 한의학 이론의 오행(五行)을 이용하여 오장(五臟)에좋은 콘텐츠를 활용하도록 구성하였다. 또, 한의학의 원리와 개념을 활용하여 숲이 지니는 자연의 치유력을 극대화시키는 ‘한의학적 산림치유’를 응용하고, 동의보감 오장문의 단방과 탕액편의 재료를 연구하여 ‘약선과 약차’의 재료로활용할 수 있으며, 동의보감의 ‘오장도인법’을 활용하여 질병의 예방과 심신 수양의 콘텐츠로 이용하였다. 한의학 이론을 바탕으로 하는 새로운 치료법인 한방음악치료로 오행음악의 악기와 곡을 이용해 콘텐츠를 구성하였다. 셋째, 허준 묘역 근처 공원에 ‘허준기념관’을 건립하여 허준의 애민 사상을 체험할 수 있는 경건한 추모 공간을 조성하고, 최신 트렌드에 맞춰 첨단기술을 접목하여 진료ㆍ상담까지 가능한 ‘허준한방체험관’을 구성하였다.

        Effects of Experimental Drought on Soil CO₂ Efflux in a Larix Kaempferi Stand

        Climate models forecast more frequent and a longer period of drought events which may impact forest soil carbon dynamics, thereby altering the soil respiration (SR) rate. We examine the simulated drought effects on soil CO₂ effluxes from soil surface partitioning heterotrophic and autotrophic soil respiration sources. Three replicates of drought plots (6 x 6 m) were constructed with the same size of three control plots. We examined the relation between CO₂ and soil temperature and soil moisture, each being measured at a soil depth of 15 cm. We also compared which factor affected CO₂ efflux more under drought conditions. Total SR, autotrophic respiration (AR) and heterotrophic respiration (HR) were positively correlated with soil temperature (p < 0.05), and the relationships were stronger in roof plots than in control plots. Total SR, AR, and HR were negatively correlated only in roof plots, and the only HR showed a significant correlation (p < 0.05, r = -0.59). Soil respiration rates were more influenced by soil temperature than by soil moisture, and this relationship was more evident under drought conditions.

        수종 산형과 한약재의 혈관이완 및 혈압강하 효능에 대한 문헌고찰

        Objectives : The objective of this study was to investigate the possibility for the treatment of hypertension of herbal medicines belong to Umbelliferae family. Methods : Domestic and international articles about Herbology were investigated. A review was performed via the database (DB) search engines such as Pubmed, Korean studies Information Service System (KISS), KoreaScience, and Google Scholar. Hypertension-related terms including "vasorelaxation", "vasorelaxant", "vasodilation", "vasodilatory", "vasodilative", "hypotension", and "hypotensive" were performed as search terms. Results : A list was made about herbal medicines and origin plants belonging to the Umbelliferae family in Korean Pharmacopoeia 12 and Korean Herbal Pharmacopoeia. 14 herbal medicine and 22 origin plants were searched. Ostericum koreanum root and rhizome, Notopterygium incisum root and rhizome, N. forbesii root and rhizome, Ligusticum tenuissimum root and rhizome, L. jeholense root and rhizome, Angelica gigas root, A. dahurica root, A. dahurica var. formosana root, Bupleurum falcatum root, Peucedanum japonicum root, P. praeruptorum root, A. decursiva root, Cnidium officinale rhizome, L. chuanxiong rhizome, Foeniculum vulgare fruit, and Ferula assa-foetida resin and stem showed significant vasorelaxant or hypotensive effects. Conclusion : These review results showed that Osterici seu Notopterygii Radix et Rhizoma, Ligustici Tenuissimi Rhizoma et Radix, Angelicae Gigantis Radix, Angelicae Dahuricae Radix, Bupleuri Radix, Peucedani Japonici Radix, Peucedani Radix, Cnidii Rhizoma, Foeniculi Fructus, and Ferulae Resina had vasorelaxant or hypotensive effects. The results are expected as basic data in clinical trials and experimental researches for the treatment of hypertension of herbal medicines.

        국내 자생식물 20종의 혈관이완 효능에 대한 실험연구

        Objectives : The objective of present study was to investigate the vasorelaxant effects of 20 Korean native plants on isolated rat thoracic aorta precontracted with phenylephrine (PE). Methods : Dried 20 plant materials were extracted 3 times with water, ethanol, or methanol for 3h in the reflux apparatus at 70 ± 5℃. Male SD rats were anesthetized by ether inhalation, and their aorta rings were isolated and placed in 10 ㎖ Krebs Henseleit (KH) buffer. While using an isolated organ-chamber technique, the aorta rings were maintained by bubbling with a gas mixture of 95% O2–5% CO2 at 37℃. Changes in isometric tension of aorta rings were recorded via isometric transducers connected to a Powerlab Data Acquisition System. Results : Among the 20 native plants, Chrysanthemum indicum L. flower, Nelumbo nucifera Gaertn. rhizome, Schisandra chinensis (Turcz.) Baill. fruit, Anthriscus sylvestris (L.) Hoffm. root, Corydalis turtschaninovii Besser tuber, Corydalis decumbens (Thunb.) Pers. tuber, and Dolichos lablab L. seed showed significant vasorelaxant effect on the contraction of aorta rings induced by PE. In contrast, Mertensia maritima subsp. asiatica Takeda whole plant, Ajuga decumbens Thunb. whole plant, Trigonotis peduncularis (Trevis.) Benth. ex Baker & S.Moore whole plant, Dioscorea quinquelobate Thunb. rhizome, Allium microdictyon Prokh aerial part, Momordica charantia L. fruit, Carthamus tinctorius L. flower, and Clematis terniflora DC. root constricted more the aorta rings precontracted by PE Conclusion : These results suggest that the possibility as useful herbal resources for the development of functional foods or medicines for hypertension treatment.

        Effect of Ethanol Extract of Canavalia gladiata on Endurance Swimming Capacity in Mice

        The effects of Canavalia gladiata ethanolic extract on endurance swimming capacity were evaluated in a mouse model. The mice were orally administered distilled water (CON), hot water extract (CGW), or 80% ethanol extract (CGE). The swimming time to exhaustion was significantly prolonged in the CGE group. Of the three groups, the CGE showed the lowest blood lactate and the highest nonesterified fatty acid and muscle glycogen levels. These results suggest that the administration of CGE could improve endurance swimming capacity by enhancing lipid catabolism and thereby preserving glycogen stores.

        전통 한의약 처방 10종에 대한 혈관이완 효능 연구

        Objectives : The objective of present study was to investigate the vasorelaxant effects of 10 traditional Korean Herbal Prescriptions (KHP) on isolated rat thoracic aorta precontracted with potassium chloride (KCl). Rat aorta rings were isolated and were precontracted using KCl in organ chambers containing 10 ml Krebs Henseleit (KH) buffer. KHP extracts were added in increasing concentrations (10-1000 μg/㎖) to investigate vasorelaxant effects. The vasorelaxant responses induced by KHP were expressed as a percentage in response to contraction generated by KCl. Results : Among the 10 KHP, Gamisoyo-san, Galgeun-tang, Gyeji-tang, Gwakhyangjeonggi-san, Daeyoung-jeon, and Socheongryong-tang showed significant vasorelaxant effect at high concentration. In contrast, Gyejibokryeonghwan constricted more the aorta rings precontracted by KCl. And Gumiganghwal-tang, Guibi-tang, Saengmaeksan showed no significant effect. Also, rat aorta rings treated with Gyejibokryeong-hwan or Gyeji-tang after prerelaxation by amlodipine did not cause any significant change. Conclusion : Thus, these results provide the experimental evidence as useful herbal prescriptions for the treatment of hypertension and suggest guidelines in conjunction with other western drugs, including amlodipine. 1

        파주 지역 역사문화유산의 관광 클러스터 구축 방안: 파주 허준 묘역을 중심으로

        요약: 본 연구의 목적은 허준에서 발원한 웰니스 자원을 파주지역의 역사문화유산과 결합하여 효과적으로 지역발전의 동력으로 활용할 수 있는 관광 클러스터 구축 방안을 제안하는 것이다. 이를 위해 먼저 클러스터의 개념과 관광에서 클러스터를 어떻게 적용하는지에 대해 연구하고 둘째, 허준 묘역을 중심으로 파주지역에 적용할 수 있는 클러스터 모형을 제안하고자 한다. 일반 클러스터의 4개 유형과 관광클러스터 여섯 개 유형 중 파주형 한방 웰니스 클러스터에 적합한 모델은 허브-앤-스포크 클러스터 모델이라고 할 수 있다. 이를 클러스터 권역 구성의 기반으로 하고, 그 내재적 기능은 수평적 클러스터가 작동하도록 설정한다. 파주에 적용할 클러스터는 의성 허준이라는 인물과 파주의 자생 한약재를 기반으로 한 콘텐츠와 한약재 개발이 중심 콘셉트로 구성되어야 하고 이를 체험 할 수 있는 클러스터 지역( 율곡수목원 인근)에 유관시설(허준 성역화 묘역, 허준 또는 동의보감 체험관, 한약초 체험길, 허준 한약초 연구소, 동의보감 웰니스 연수원, 동의보감 약선 레스토랑)이 관광활동의 중심지가 되도록 제안한다. 이 클러스터가 제대로 작동되면 이곳에 관련 사업이 지리적 근접성으로 연결되고 이들 시설들 간에 물류와 서비스 네트워크가 수평적으로 원활하게 작동하도록 지자체는 적극적인 행정지원을 해야 한다. 다만, 파주 한방 클러스터 구축을 위해서 검토해야 할 것은 파주지역의 수도권 정비계획법과 군사시설보호법 등과의 저촉 여부를 먼저 검토해야 한다.

        한국 동부권 3개 식물원의 약용식물 정보 보고

        This study investigated the medicinal plants grown in three botanic gardens in Eastern Korea: the National Baekdudaegan Arboretum, Seoraksan Botanical Garden, and Key-chungsan Botanical Garden. A total of 220 taxa of medicinal plants were identified (128 in the National Baekdudaegan Arboretum, 63 in Seoraksan Botanical Garden, and 73 in Key-chungsan Botanical Garden). The research focused on the plant's traditional medicine name, medicinal parts, and indications, with references cited. The highest number of taxa belonged to the Rosaceae family (27 taxa), followed by Asteraceae, Apiaceae, Lamiaceae, and Asparagaceae. By providing medicinal information alongside general botanical data, botanic gardens can broaden visitor engagement, extending their societal contribution and raising public awareness about plant preservation and utilization.

        고려엉겅퀴(Cirsium setidens (Dunn) Nakai)의 구성성분 및생리활성에 관한 리뷰

        Objectives : The objective of this study was to investigate the phytochemistry and pharmacological activities of Cirsium setidens. Methods : Domestic and international articles about Cirsium setidens were investigated. A review was perfoemed via DB searching engine such as Sci.Direct, Springer, DBpia, KISS, Google scholar, Kipris, and so on. Total 73 listed literature were classified by compound analysis and pharmacological efficacy. Results : C. setidens contains pectolinarin and its glycoside, pectolinarigenin as index compounds, and linarin, apigenin, diosmetin, scopoletin, acacetin, cirsimarin, cirsimaritin, setidenosides A and B, silymarin, hispidulin, 92 volatile compounds, and 15 fatty acids. The Pharmacological activities of C. setidens has been reported to inhibit of platelet aggregation and fat accumulation in the liver, inhibit to hepatitis, anti-cancer, antibacterial, skin improvement, hair growth, liver protection, anti-diabetic, anti-inflammatory, sedative. Also, It has been reported the effect of cholesterol-lowering and anti-obesity, neuroprotective effects, increasing human stem cell viability, inhibiting osteoclast formation and osteogenic differentiation. Conclusion : This reviews showed that C. setidens which has been traditionally used for the treatment of inflammation and hypertension, has anticancer and river protective effect, as well as hair loss and diet. In order to maximize the efficacy of C. setidens, research has also begun on the effect of processing processes such as fermentation or fine powdering and combining natural plant resources.
