        무봉제 니트웨어의 변천에 관한 연구 -제작 기법을 중심으로-

        As clothes fashion is diversified and segmented, the diverse designs and practical value of knitwear are also becoming an important part of the clothing industry. Accordingly seamless kintwears using advanced knitting technique are highly favored in the world as well as noticed as a field with a great growth potential. Therefore this study is conducted for the purpose of helping to overcome the difficulties today's knitwear industry faces in our country and to seek the greater development of seamless knitwear by studying materials of literature on seamless knitwears' design and the cases of its application from the past till now. In this study, after examining the past relics of seamless knitwears, the concept and knitting technique of seamless knitwear are presented and then the historial trends are classified and organized chronologically based on the prior studies in book forms and other various materials on the website. As a result, seamless knitwear featured socks which were made fit one's feet in three dimensions mainly using hand knitting technique in Egypt in ancient times. Until 16th-century, socks, hats, mittens using the seamless knitting technique have represented high fashion of the time. And then garment forms began to appear in modern times. Since the Industrial Revolution, the kintwear industry had further expanded by producing various patterns of socks and stockings based on the development of knitting machines and the improvement of technique. Afterwards, 3-D types of seamless knit wears have developed centering Japan and Europe in the late 20th century and furthermore, the computerized seamless knitting machine made it possible for the type of knit wears to be used as industrial materials in other fields such as medicine and aviation. This study leads to the conclusions as follows. First, there has existed the knitwear made with seamless knitting technique since ancient times and it has developed into various items with time. Second, the past remains of seamless knitwear show that they were knitted as tubular shapes or natural three dimensional types fit to human's body, which means that not only the past seamless knitting technique was the reflection of the human's natural body but also considered the practicability based on wear sensation as important. Lastly, the designs shown in the relics of the past are being found constantly in the recent knitting clothes. This means, therefore, that the past remains of seamless knitwear are the foundation of developing further the present seamless knitwears and at the same time have the meaningful value constantly from the historial point of view.

        Rapid on-site detection of shrimp allergen tropomyosin using a novel ultrafast PCR system

        Shrimp is seafood that can commonly triggerallergic reactions. In this study, the ultrafast real-time PCRassay with portable device was developed to detect ashrimp-derived major allergen, tropomyosin, withoutcomplicated DNA extraction. For shrimp allergen detection,a specific primer pair was designed based on theshrimp tropomyosin gene and 18S ribosomal RNA gene asinternal control. Primer specificity was assessed using 8common seafood species. Serially diluted shrimp DNA wasused to determine the limit of detection of the ultrafastPCR system, which was approximately 3.2 pg. Twentythreefood samples containing shrimp were evaluated toverify the applicability of a direct ultrafast PCR method fordetecting shrimp allergens without DNA isolation. It tookless than 30 min from sample preparation-to-result analysisto detect shrimp DNA in raw and processed samples. Therefore, this PCR system can be effectively and convenientlyutilized in the field to detect shrimp in various foodproducts.

        임플란트 지지 나사-시멘트 유지형 보철물에서 보철물-지대주 제거 후 변연부 연마의 효과: 증례보고

        고정성 보철물의 변연 적합도가 낮은 경우 치태침착, 치주질환, 치아과민, 보철물 구성요소 파절, 시멘트 상실 등의 생물학적, 기계적 합병증이 발생할 가능성이 증가할 수 있다. 이러한 합병증은 보철물의 장기간의 성공과 생존에 영향을 미친다. 본 증례는 임플란트 지지 나사-시멘트 유지형 보철물에서 보철물 장착 시 보철물-지대주를 제거하고 변연부를 연마하여 변연간극을 최소화할 수 있는 임상과정을 보여준다. 그리고 변연 간극을 연마 전과 후에 측정하여 비교 관찰하였다. 본 기술은 변연 적합도를 높여 보철물의 수명 연장에 기여할 수 있다. When the marginal fit of fixed dental prosthesis decreases, biological and technical complications, such as plaque accumulation, periodontal disease, hypersensitivity, components fracture, cement loss, can happen. The complications affect the long-term success and survival of prostheses. This case report describes a clinical procedure to minimize the marginal gap of implant-supported screw-and-cement retained prosthesis by removing prosthesis-abutment complex and burnishing the interface area. The marginal gap was measured before and after the burnishing using a stereomicroscope and compared. This technique improves the marginal fit, thereby contributing the longevity of the prosthesis.

        급성 말초성 전정기능장애 환자에서 자가면역항체 및 보체의 발현

        Background and Objectives The etiology and pathophysiology of acute peripheral vestibulopathy are largely unknown. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the manifestation of the autoantibodies and complements in patients with acute peripheral vestibulopathy. Materials and Methods We checked anti-ds-DNA, rheumatoid factor, anti phospholipid IgG and IgM, anti nuclear antibody (ANA), C3, C4 in 72 patients who were diagnosed as acute peripheral vestibulopathy on physical examination and the caloric test. The results of the patients with unilateral acute peripheral vestibulopathy were compared to those of the patients with bilateral acute peripheral vestibulopathy. Results Twelve patients (16.6%) in anti-ds-DNA, 4 patients (5.5%) in C3, 10 patients (13.8%) in C4, 2 patients (2.7%) in anti-phospholipid IgG and 13 patients (18%) in antinuclear antibody (ANA) showed abnormal findings among patients with acute peripheral vestibulpahty. There was no difference in the manifestation of the autoantibodies and complements between the patients with unilateral and bilateral acute peripheral vestibulopathy. Conclusion The autoimmune diseases may be one of etiologic factors in acute peripheral vestibulopathy.
