        김승옥 소설의 개인 연구

        The innovative gist of the novels written by Kim Sung Ok lies in the discovery of a new persona and the revolution of sensitivity. This study investigates the implications of the persona that Kim discovered in his novels based on the theory of subjectivity of Levinas. The personas in Kim Sung Ok`s novels that arguably represent 60`s of Koreans literary community show the transformation from the nihilistic beings to the capitalist beings. In other words, the personas that Kim found in his novels purely represent the severed beings that had to move down to the economic and political ground from the war-haunted beings. Ultimately the personas of Kim`s novels develop into ones pursuing for the transcendental beings by converging with other beings. His literary journey from Seoul, 1964 Winter, Travel to Moo Jin , to Moonlight Seoul, Chapter 0 reveals the writer`s transcendence from personal, anonymous self, to self-standing self, and finally to self-achieving self by making relations with other beings. In sum, the personas found in Kim`s novels can be said as a becoming being towards ontological diversity. These personas keep trying to transcend from vagueness of lives. Transcending, in this context, means a journey from being-what to being-who. The characters in Kim`s novels never enjoy successes in this journey. However, by the incessant failures of the characters, the writer tries to demonstrate the never-ending zeal of egoistic individuals towards and for other beings-in-the-world. In this respect, a conclusion can be drawn that the primary purpose of Kim Sung Ok`s literary works is to overcome the sarcasm and dispair of post-war era of 1960s and to construct a ``transcending, subjective being`` that pursue for the economic and political development of 1970s.

        《리진》에 나타난 동아시아 근대의 다문화적 체험

        A novel by Shin Gyeong-suk, Lee Jin restored the life of"Lee Jin,"who was a court dancer and the first Korean to live in Paris. Accidently the same figure was dealt with in Lee Shim by Kim Tak-hwan. While Kim`s work replays the path of Lee Shim from the perspective of multicultural experiences and imperialism, Shin`s work highlights the influences of the Paris Arcade phenomenon on Lee Jin and further maternity and confession, which are the strong points of her literature. Furthermore, unlike the old history novels that depicted heroic figures within the scope of authentic history, Shin focuses on restoring and mourning forgotten or hidden figures especially marginal ones in history in Lee Jin. Lee Jin consists of two volumes; Volume 1 shows the process up until Lee Jin left Joseon, and Volume 2 depicts her life in Paris. This study approached her life in Paris with her encounter of"Arcade"because it was her first response to multicultural experiences. The culture city of Europe she first arrived in, Paris was the place of newness to the Joseon court lady. It was full of advanced civilization and in full bloom of capitalism. It awakened her to the meaning of freedom, economy, and art. In the novel, confessional writing is revealed through"letters."The letter narrative is comprised of Collin`s letters and Lee Jin`s letters. While the former`s letters were related to his affairs as a diplomat, Lee Jin`s letters were personal writings of"confession."Her letters were addressed to the Queen, telling about the changes she experienced inside as an alien from Far East who was exposed to a new culture. The true addressee, however, was Lee Jin herself not the Queen; she could not mail them to the Queen because they were what she wanted to tell herself at the excuse of the Queen. In Lee Jin, maternity is embodied through Ms. Seo, who failed to bear a child and left to live alone. She accepted Lee Jin and Kang Yeon who were orphaned without even asking about their origins and devoted her entire fortune to running the orphanage. Ms. Seo`s extreme benevolence is on the extended line of maternity observed in Shin`s novels. While the Queen was Lee Jin`s spiritual mother, Ms. Seo was her real-life mother. Shin`s Lee Jin was an extension of her writing into the new area of history novel but still remained within the scope of maternity discourse and confessional writing

        Klippel-Trenaunay 증후군과 Sturge-Weber 증후군이 동반된 1례

        저자들은 26개월된 여아에서 양측 안면과 우측 상, 하지에 화염상모반증, 골조직 및 연부조직의 이상 비대 소견을 보이면서 우안의 녹내장 및 맥락막 혈관종, 연수막 혈관종, 전신성 경련, 발달지연을 동반한 Klippel-Trenaunay 증후군과 Sturge-Weber 증후군의 특성이 동시에 관찰된 드문 1례를 경험하였기에 문헌 고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. Klippel-Trenaunay syndrome is a rare mesodermal phakomatosis characterized by cutaneous haemangiomata( usually unilateral and involving an extremity), venous varicosities and osseous and soft tissue hypertrophy, of the affected limb. Sturge-Weber syndrome, also a mesodermal pharkomatosis, is characterized by a port-wine nevus, which is present from birth and covers the face and cranium in the territory of the first division of the trigeminal nerve. Homolateral to the skin lesion, there is atrophy and calcification of the cerebral hemisphere. We experienced an unusual 26-months-old female, who had features of both Klippel-Trenaunay syndrome and Sturge-Weber syndrome. She had an extensive nevus flammeus which extended primarily over both sides of her face and the right side of the trunk and extremities, hypertrophy of the right extremity without evidence of arterovenous fistula, right glaucoma, choroidal hemangioma and leptomeningeal hemangioma, which combined Klippel-Trenaunay syndrome and Sturge-Weber syndrome. We reported this rare case with a brief review of some related literatures.

        급성기 중풍환자의 발병시간에 따른 특성 및 위험인자 연구

        Objectives : The aim of this study was to assess the distribution of general characteristics and risk factors according to onset time in acute stroke patients. Methods : We studied hospitalized patients within 4 wks after the onset of stroke who were admitted to the Department of Internal Medicine at Kyunghee University Oriental Medical Hospital, Kyunghee University East-West Neo Medical Hospital, Kyungwon University Songpa Oriental Medical Hospital, Kyungwon University Incheon Oriental Medical Hospital, and Dongguk University Ilsan Oriental Medical Hospital from April 2007 to August 2008. The 24-hour day was divided into quartiles (6:00 to 12:00, 12:00 to 18:00, 18:00 to 24:00 and 24:00 to 6:00). We analyzed the general characteristics and risk factors according to onset time in acute stroke patients. Results : 468 subjects were included into the final analysis. 1. The most common time period for ischemic stroke onset was between 6:00 and 12:00. It demonstrated a 50% excess risk between 6:00 and 12:00. 2. On the demographic variables of the patients, the rate of hypertension was significantly higher from 18: 00 to 24: 00 than 24:00 to 6:00. 3. There was no significant difference of stroke type, Sasang constitution, or lifestyle between times. 4. According to the blood test, high density lipoprotein cholesterol was significantly higher at 24:00 to 6:00 and lower at 12:00 to 18:00 than other time-groups. 5. The patients diagnosed with metabolic syndrome were significantly more at 12:00 to 18:00 and fewer at 24:00 to 6:00. 6. Hypertension and coffee drinking showed close relationship with patients whose stroke occurred while awake in multivariate analysis. Conclusions : The above results showed that the overall tendency of acute stage cerebral infarction patients varied according to their onset time. These results can be utilized in the future as a basis material.

        「현대미술의 요람」의 필자 확정 문제

        "The Cradle-land of Modern Art" is an important article published on May, 14th~23th, 1934 in Me-il-Shin-Bo, a famous daily news paper in Japanese Colonialists ruled Korean Peninsula. The name of writter`s that article is Kim-Hae-Gyeong, 金海慶with Chinese character. Kim-Hae-Gyeong was entirely unknown person in Korean Modern History. Yi-Sang is a very famous poet, novelist, painter & architect in Korean modern history. Yi-Sang is pen-name. His real name is Kim-Hae-Gyeong. But the Chinese characters of his real name is not 金海慶but 金海卿. This essay want to prove this article`s writer is Yi-Sang. "The Cradle-land of Modern Art" deals with how to be changed & improved from middle age`s art till modern art in Western culture. This article focused & emphasized role of Cezanne to develop the modernization of fine art. The writter said real modern art had begun cubism. In the future, cubism, vorticism. fauvism, surrealism, dadaism etc are going to be popular. Those are based on expressionism. In the same time, most Korean painter`s article about western art history was focused on impressionism. But the art book published Bauhouse emphasized role of Cezanne & expressionism. Yi-Sang was under the influence of Bauhouse as an architect & painter. In addition, the writing style of this article are very similar to Yi-Sang`s. Yi-Sang has liked using different pen-name, every different genre essay or literature. The conclusion of this essay is quite within the realms of possibility that the writter of "The Cradle-land of Modern Art" is Yi-Sang.

        사과 품종 홍로의 휴면아 분열조직 배양을 통해 형성된 캘러스에서의 바이러스 제거효율

        Apple scar skin viroid (ASSVd), Apple chlorotic leaf spot virus(ACLSV), Apple stem pitting virus (ASPV), Apple stem grooving virus (ASGV)는 사과를 감염시키는 대표적인 바이러스로, 이러한 4종 바이러스에 복합 감염된 사과 '홍로'의 동절기 가지의 휴면아(측아)로부터 다양한 크기 (0.4 mm ~ 1.2 mm)와 발달단계 (이하 Stage 1, Stage 2, Stage 3라 칭함)의 경정 및 측부 분열조직을 절취하여 BA 3.0 mg/L 와 IBA 0.1 mg/L가 혼합된 배지에 배양하여 캘러스를 형성시킨 후, 감염 바이러스바이러스의 제거유무를 조사하였다. 직경 10 mm이상 증식된 캘러스 31 계통을 RT-PCR 분석으로 제거효율을 알아 본 결과, ACLSV는 100%, ASSVd와 ASPV는 93.5%의 높은 제거 효율을 보인 반면, ASGV는 25.8%로 상대적으로 제거효율이 낮았다. 4종 바이러스가 동시에 모두 제거되는 경우는 Stage 1의 휴면아의 분열조직을 배양하였을 때만 가능하였는데, 그 이유는 ASGV가 이 시기의 배양에서 주로 제거되었기 때문으로, ASGV는 다른 바이러스와는 달리 분열조직의 발달단계가 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 휴면아의 분열조직을 배양하여 바이러스를 제거한 예는 세계적으로 보고된 바가 없는 것으로서, 본 연구결과는 향 후 사과의 무병묘 생산에 매우 유용한 자료로 활용될 것이다. Various sizes (0.2 ~ 1.2 mm) and developmental stages (referred to as Stage 1 ~ 3) of apical and lateral meristems were excised, together or separately, directly from dormant buds of apple 'Hongro'. They were mixed infected by Apple scar skin viroid (ASSVd), Apple chlorotic leaf spot virus (ACLSV), Apple stem pitting virus (ASPV) and Apple stem grooving virus (ASGV), which are major viruses attacking apples. A total of 31 callus lines (> 10 mm in diameter) were obtained by culturing the explants on Murashige and Skoog (MS) medium supplemented with 3% sucrose, 3.0 mg/L benzyladenine (BA) and 0.1 mg/L indole-3-butyric acid (IBA), and they were subjected to RT-PCR analysis for virus detection. A high rate of virus elimination (expressed as the percentage of calli that did not amplify during RT-PCR, i.e., RT-PCR negative calli per total number of calli obtained) was achieved for ACLSV (100%), ASSVd (93.7%), and ASPV (93.7%), whereas it was only 25.8% for ASGV. ASPV was detected in the presence of 2 ~ 3 bracts. Simultaneous virus elimination of ASSVd, ASPV, ACLSV, and ASGV occurred during the meristem culture, in which the early stages of the dormant buds (Stage 1) were used, because ASGV was mostly eliminated during that stage. The results of the present study will be valuable for the production of virus-free apple trees.

        구문관계에 기반한 유전자 상호작용 인식

        단백질이나 유전자들 간의 상호작용 인식은 생물학적 현상의 기술에 있어서 필수적이고, 이러한 상호작용의 네트웍 파악은 생물학 접근의 시작이라고 할 수 있다. 최근에, 대량의 생물학 관련 문서로부터 자연언어처리 기술을 사용하여 이러한 정보를 추출하려는 연구들이 많이 등장했다. 또한 이전 연구들은 언어학적 정보가 문서로부터 유전자 상호작용을 자동으로 추출하는 데 있어서 유용하다고 주장하고 있다. 하지만 기존의 방법들은 정확률에 비해 재현율이 많이 낮아서 성능이 그다지 좋지 못했다. 정확률의 감소 없이 재현율의 성능향상을 위해, 이 논문은 생물학관련 문서에서 구문관계에 기반하여 유전자 상호작용을 인식하는 방법을 제안한다. 생물학 도메인에 관련된 전문지식 없이, 우리의 방법은 단지 적은 양의 학습데이터를 사용하여 효과적인 성능을 보인다. LLL05(ICML05 Workshop on Learning Language in Logic)에서 제공한 데이터 포맷을 그대로 사용하여, 상호작용하는 두 유전자 중 작용의 주체가 되는 유전자를 에이전트라 하고 상호 작용의 대상이 되는 유전자를 타겟이라 한다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 첫 단계에서, 에이전트와 타겟 유전자에 대한 유전자-전이 구문관계를 인식한다. 두 번째 단계에서, 유전자 간의 상호작용이 있음을 암시하는 용언리스트를 구축한다. 마지막 단계에서, 상호작용하는 것으로 인식된 두 유전자 중 어느 것이 에이전트이고 타겟인지를 판단하기 위해 구문관계의 방향 정보를 학습한다. LLL05 데이터를 사용한 실험결과에서, 본 논문에서 제안한 방법이 학습 데이터에 대해서는 88%의 F-measure 성능을 보였고, 테스트 데이터에 대해서는 70.4%의 F-measure 성능을 보였다. 이 결과는 기존의 방법들보다 훨씬 더 좋은 성능이다. 우리는 성능에 대한 각 단계의 공헌도를 실험하여, 첫 단계는 재현율 향상에 기여를 하고 두 번째와 세 번째 단계는 정확률 향상에 기여했음을 보인다. Interactions between proteins and genes are often considered essential in the description of biomolecular phenomena and networks of interactions are considered as an entre for a Systems Biology approach. Recently, many works try to extract information by analyzing biomolecular text using natural language processing technology. Previous researches insist that linguistic information is useful to improve the performance in detecting gene interactions. However, previous systems do not show reasonable performance because of low recall. To improve recall without sacrificing precision, this paper proposes a new method for detection of gene interactions based on syntactic relations. Without biomolecular knowledge, our method shows reasonable performance using only small size of training data. Using the format of LLL05(ICML05 Workshop on Learning Language in Logic) data we detect the agent gene and its target gene that interact with each other. In the 1st phase, we detect encapsulation types for each agent and target candidate. In the 2nd phase, we construct verb lists that indicate the interaction information between two genes. In the last phase, to detect which of two genes is an agent or a target, we learn direction information. In the experimental results using LLL05 data, our proposed method showed F-measure of 88% for training data, and 70.4% for test data. This performance significantly outperformed previous methods. We also describe the contribution rate of each phase to the performance, and demonstrate that the first phase contributes to the improvement of recall and the second and last phases contribute to the improvement of precision.

        배주스의 휘발성 향기성분

        The aim of this study was to determine volatile flavor compounds in Shingo pear juice. Volatile flavor compounds were analyzed using solid-phase micro-extraction (SPME) - gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS). The effect of inorganic salts solution on the extraction ability of the SPME fiber was treated by adding saturated $CaCl_2$ solution at the ratio of 1:20 (v/v) after 0, 60, 120 min of preparing pear juice, respectively. As a result, a total of 22 volatile compounds were identified in Shingo pear juice. Ethyl acetate was found to be the most abundant volatile compound ($13.36{\sim}19.61{\mu}g/kg$), followed in order by hexanal, ethyl hexanoate, ethyl 3-(methylthio)-2-propenoate, ethyl octanoate and 2-hexenal. Total contents of volatile flavor compounds were $31.07{\mu}g/kg$ (control), $40.93{\mu}g/kg$ (0 min), $27.62{\mu}g/kg$ (60 min) and $26.32{\mu}g/kg$ (120 min). This result indicated that the addition of saline solutions could inhibit the enzymatic reaction of volatile flavor compounds effectively when treated as soon as juice preparation.
