        브로콜리 추출물의 향장활성 효과

        In this study, we investigated the anti-oxidative effects, antimicrobial, and anti-inflammatory activities of the extracts from broccoli to evaluate its use as a functional ingredient in cosmetics. The extracts are WE (water extract at RT), MWE (mineral water extract at RT), EE (70% ethanol extract at RT), and USEE (heat process for 12 hours at 60℃ after ultrasonification for six hours with 70% ethanol). The measurements of the total polyphenol content from broccoli extracts were highest in EE at 425.24±13.9 mg/g dry. The result of electron donating ability of EE was the highest at 10,000 ㎍/㎖ as 97.81% and increased in a concentration-dependent manner. The ferric reducing antioxidant powder (FRAP) of EE was the highest at 10,000 ㎍/㎖ as 1235.6 μM. In an antimicrobial activity test, the EE showed significant antimicrobial activity against S. epidermidis, S. aureus, E. coli, P. acnes, and P. ovale. Furthermore, broccoli extract exhibited no cytotoxicity in RAW 264.7 cells. Also anti- inflammatory activity by NO assay showed LPS-induced NO was significantly inhibited following treatment with EE of 1,000 ㎍/㎖. Therefore, the broccoli ethanol extract can be used as a resource of natural cosmetic material for functional cosmetics.

        To be a good government, it has to provide accurate information to citizens to help them understand reality well. Furthermore, the government has to provide an authority to the citizens so that they could access to the information system. The information must be shared equally between the government and the citizens. With sincere effort on the information disclosure and clarity of the administration, the government should accomplish good governance. This paper introduces the information disclosure cases to achieve good governance.

        호텔 식음료 상품의 속성과 고객만족도 측정에 관한 연구

        To evaluate customer satisfaction of hotel food and beverage products, developing items for the measurement is necessary through studying the properties of food and beverage products. The properties consist of human service, physical and systematic service. Human service includes appearance and uniforms, courtesy and kindness, quickness and precision of the service, well-educatedness, moral sense and etc. Physical service includes the taste of food and beverage, diversity of food and beverage, outlets' cleanness and atmosphere, refinement of fixture, furnishing and table ware, the admission passage to the hotel and parking lot facilities, and etc. Systematic service includes passages of movement to outlet, arrangement of outlet, reservation management system, operation of events and package goods, temperature and ventilation system and etc. The price is also one of important variables to measure customer satisfaction index, so it is included to the investigating items. As shown some hotels have several satisfactory items but most items are unsatisfactory because expected service is better than perceived service. Therefore, the hotels which lack human service need the reinforcement of service education, the hotels which lack physical and systematic services need the improvement, the development and the renovation according to the unsatisfactory items. And the hotels whose price item is unsatisfactory need to consider the policy.

        하드웨어 지원의 재시도 없는 잠금기법

        잠금기법은 분산 병렬 시스템의 동기화에 필수적이다. 기존의 큐잉 잠금기법은 최초의 잠금 읽기와 잠금 경합발생 시 공유 데이터에 대한 잠금이 해제되었을 때 발생하는 잠금 읽기 재 시도로 두 개의 트래픽을 발생한다. 본 논문에서는 WPV(Waiting Processor Variable) 잠금기법이라 불리는 새로운 잠금기법을 제안한다 새로이 제안하는 기법은 오직 한 개의 잠금 읽기 명령을 사용한다. WPV 기법은 파이프라인 전송방식을 사용하여 최초의 잠금 읽기 단계에서 공유 데이터가 전송될 때까지 대기 한 후 잠금을 실시한다. 데이터에 대한 잠금을 수행중인 프로세서는 대기 상태의 다음 프로세서에 대한 정보를 저장하고 있으므로, 공유 데이터가 캐쉬 대 캐쉬 데이터 전송 기법에 의하여 대기중인 다음 프로세서로 바로 전송된다. 따라서 대기중인 프로세서 에 대한 변수는 연결 리스트 구조를 갖는다. 제안된 기법은 캐쉬 상태의 잠금기법을 사용하여 잠금 오버 헤드를 줄이고 다중 잠금 경합 발생시 FIFO를 유지하게 한다. 또한 본 논문에서는 기존의 메모리 및 캐쉬 큐잉 잠금기법에 대한 WPV 잠금기법의 해석적 모델링을 제시한다. WPV 잠금기법에 대한 시뮬레이션의 결과는 기존의 큐잉 잠금기법에 비하여 50%의 접근 시간의 감소를 보여주었다. A lock mechanism is essential for synchronization on the multiprocessor systems. The conventional queuing lock has two bus traffics that are the initial and retry of the lock-read. %is paper proposes the new locking protocol, called WPV (Waiting Processor Variable) lock mechanism, which has only one lock-read bus traffic command. The WPV mechanism accesses the shared data in the initial lock-read phase that is held in the pipelined protocol until the shared data is transferred. The nv mechanism also uses the cache state lock mechanism to reduce the locking overhead and guarantees the FIFO lock operations in the multiple lock contentions. In this paper, we also derive the analytical model of WPV lock mechanism as well as conventional memory and cache queuing lock mechanisms. The simulation results on the WPV lock mechanism show that about 50% of access time is reduced comparing with the conventional queuing lock mechanism.

        섬유강화 포스트와 금속주조 포스트의 파절강도 밋 파절양상의 비교

        Purpose: The purpose of this study is to compare the effect of two fiber post systems and one metal cast post system on the fracture strength and fracture pattern of crowned, endodontically treated teeth with 2 mm-height of the reamining tooth structure. Materials and methods: A total of 36 recently extracted sound human mandibular premolars were selected Each tooth structure of the crown portion except 2mm-height of the one above the cementoenamel junction was removed. After being endodontically treated, they were randomly distributed into 3 groups: group 1, restored with quarts fiber post(D.T. Light-Post), group 2, with glass fiber post(FRC Postec), and group 3, metal cast post and core. All teeth were fully covered with nonprecious metal crowns. Each specimen was embedded in an acrylic resin block and then secured in a universal load-testing machine. A compressive load was applied at a 130 degree angle to the long axis of the tooth until fractured, at a crosshead speed 20mm/min. The highest fracture loads were measured and recorded as the fracture strength of each specimen. Fracture areas were measured on the mid-buccal and mid-lingual point from the crown margins. One-way analysis of variance and Turkey test were used to determine the statistic significance of the different fracture loads and areas among the groups (p<0.05). Results: The mean fracture loads were $1391{\pm}$425N(group 1), $1458{\pm}476N$(group 2) and $1301{\pm}319N$(group 3). The fracture loads among the three groups had no statistically signifiant difference (p>.05). The mean fracture area of the fiber post was closer to the crown margin than that of the metal cast post and core(p<.05). The metal cast post showed unrestorable and catastrophic fracture patterns. Conclusion: Within the limitations of this study, fracture loads with any statistically significant difference were not recorded for endodontically treated teeth restored with two fiber posts and the metal cast post. But teeth restored with the fiber posts typically showed the fracture pattern close to the crown margin, which was almost restorable.

        운향과 과실 추출물의 항균활성 조사

        피부 염증 개선용 화장품 천연소재를 탐색하고자 피부 염증 유발 미생물 6종에 운향과 과실류 에탄올 추출물을 농도별로 처리하여 항균력을 비교 조사하였다. 운향과 과실류는 전과와 과피로 나누어 70% 에탄올로 추출하여 파우더 형태로 만들어 사용하였다. 그 결과 Staphylococcus aureus 균주를 제외한 5종의 균주에서는 항균활성을 확인할 수 있었고, 특히, Staphylococcus epidermidis 균주에 대한 항균활성이 생 레몬 전과에서 가장 우수하였다. Escherichia coli 균주에서는 생 레몬전과와 생 탱자 과피에서만, Propionibacterium acnes 균주에서는 건조 레몬 전과에서만 항균활성이 확인되었다. Pityrosporum ovale 균주에 대한 항균활성은 생과의 경우 유자 전과, 레몬 전과, 밀감 껍질 순으로 항균활성을 확인할 수 있었고 건과 중에서는 오렌지 껍질, 탱자 껍질, 밀감 껍질, 레몬 껍질 순으로 항균활성을 확인할 수 있었다. 본 연구의 결과 운향과 과실류 중에서 피부 염증 유발과 관련된 피부 상재균에 대해 전반적으로 높은 항균활성을 나타낸 것으로 확인된 레몬이 피부 염증 개선용 화장품 천연소재로서 사용 가능성이 높을 것으로 사료된다. This study investigated the Antimicrobial activity of Rutaceae fruit ethanol extracts against microorganisms-induced skin inflammation in cosmetic materials. Rutaceae fruits were separated in two parts of whole fruit (pulp, pulp fegment membrane, peel) and peel, and extracted with 70% ehtanol. The results demonstrated that Rutaceae fruit ethanol extracts showed antimicrobial activity in 5 strains except Staphylococcus aureus. In particular, the antimicrobial activity against Staphylococcus epidermidis was the best in fresh lemons whole fruit. The antimicrobial activity against Escherichia coli was shown only in fresh lemon peel and fresh trifoliate peel. Additionally, antimicrobial activity against Propionibacterium acnes was shown only in the dried lemon peel. In the results of antimicrobial activity against Pityrosporum ovale, in the case of fresh fruits, citron whole fruits showed the highest effect, followed by lemon whole fruits and mandarin orange peel. And in the case of dried fruits, orange peel showed the highest effect, followed by trifoliate peel, mandarin orange peel and lemon peel. Therefore, it is considered that lemon, which shows antimicrobial activity against all skin inflammation-causing microorganisms, can be used as a natural material for improving skin inflammation in cosmetics.

        Neem 에탄올추출물과 분획물의 항산화, 항균 및 항염증 효과 비교

        In this study, the antioxidant, antimicrobial, and anti-inflammatory activities of a 70% ethanol extract of neem (Azadirachta indica) leafves and their fractions were evaluated to confirm the applicability as a functional cosmetic material. It was found that the total polyphenol content was higher in butanol (181.77±3.25 mg/g) and ethyl acetate fraction (180.27±1.53 mg/g) as compared to ethanol extract (139.16±1.04 mg/g). The electron donating ability and ABTS radical scavenging ability increased in a concentration-dependent manner in all samples. The IC50 value of electron donating ability was lower (357.6-375.1 ㎍/㎖) in ethyl acetate and butanol fractions compared to the than in ethanol extract (384.5 ㎍/㎖), and the ABTS radical scavenging activity was higher in the butanol fraction (66.8%) than the ethanol extract (64.3%) at the concentration of 1,000 ㎍/㎖. The antimicrobial activity of S. epidermidis and S. aureus were high in the ethyl acetate fraction, 8.5-11.5 mm and 8.5-15.0 mm, respectively, and the antibacterial activity against E. coli was high in the butanol fraction (8.5-14.0 mm). However, the antimicrobial activity against P. acne did not show a significant difference between the extract and the fraction. Cytotoxicity for RAW 264.7 cells was not observed up to the concentration of 100 ㎍/㎖ in both the extracts or fractions. The inhibition rate of NO production induced by LPS stimulation was highest in the ethyl acetate fraction (84.3%) than in the LPS alone treatment group, and about 2.3 times that of the ethanol extract (36.9%). Therefore, it was confirmed that the ethyl acetate fraction of neem leaves had a significant effect on the total polyphenol content, antioxidant, antibacterial activity, and inhibition of NO. In the future, it is considered necessary to study the anti-inflammatory mechanism of the ethyl acetate fraction.
