In modem sputter deposition science the na-no technology has received new attention on making micro-structured thin film material To improve the thin film quality the arc management and suppression is very important because arcs make intense localized concentration of energy to form a molten region. This cause explosive ejection of macro particles in molten region, therefore the macro-particles is damaging the thin film uniform quality. Commonly DC power supply which is used in deposition processes have made a poor quality of film, so we replace it to pulsed DC power to improve the film quality. Especially we studied the aluminium for deposition material which is currently used for the application of semiconductor and dielectric materials. The aluminium deposition with oxygen atmosphere has arc problem with DC power supply, but by introducing the pulsed DC. we try to reduce arc problems. The aluminium oxide film are investigated with and without the pulsed DC. The arc rate can be significantly reduced by using pulsed DC, and therefore vve can get better quality of thin films.
Nuclear Microanalysis에 의한 텅스텐 표면의 산소 흡착조사

텅스텐 표면의 (110)면에 흡착된 산소량을 ^(18)O(P, α)^(15)N 핵반응으로 직접 측정하여 미세분석 하였다. Van de Graaff 가속기로 양성자를 가속시켜 시료 표면 가까이에 있는 원자와 충돌시켜 생성되는 α 입자를 측정함으로써 표면에 있는 미소량의 원소도 측정이 가능했다. α입자의 수율은 oxygen exposure에 비례하였는데 coverage (θ)는 5 Langmuir에서 0.5가 되었고, 15 Langmuir에서 포화되었다. The microanalysics by the direct observation of ^(18)O (P, α)^(15)N nuclear reactions on tungsten (110) surface are investigated using a 2MeV Van de Graaff accelerator. This method allows the determination of very small quantities of nuclei near the surface of samples. The yields increase with oxygen exposure. The oxygen coverage, θ, is 0.5 at 5 Langmuir and 1.0 at 15 Langmuir.

Civil structure such as a bridge is getting easily deteriorated because the traffic volume has been significantly increased during the several decades in Korea. The deterioration can be a main reason of the bridge col lapse like the case of Sungsoo Bridge. The earlier detection of a damage makes engineers possible to repair the bridge in time and economically. So far, a periodic visual inspection method as well as a non-periodic diagnosis techniques have been performed to identify a damage on bridges. However, these methods are known to be unsuitable to the global damage identification since physical internal damage of structures is not easily detected. A method using dynamic characteristics to identify damages of a bridge has been investigated in the States and several European countries since the late seventies. Because they are based on the physical quantities such as mass and stiffness, the natural frequencies are directly related to whether or not a bridge is damaged or not. In this paper, an ambient excitation field test was performed to a T beam RC bridge through step by step damage scenarios. The changes of natural frequencies from the modal analysis along the damage severities have been shown. The first three modes(bending, twisting and lateral modes) are found. Finite element method was used to compare and check the experimental results.
인삼엽요병에서 Active Oxygen Species (^1O_2, O_2^-, H_2O_2$)가 Chlorophyll Bleaching에 미치는 영향 및 방제대책에 관한 연구

In order to determine the specific active oxygen species directly related to chlorophyll bleaching in the leaf-burning disease, we investigated the effects of singlet oxygen (1O2), superoxide radical (O2-), and hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2) on isolated chloroplast suspension and leaf discs from Panax ginseng C.A. Meyer. When the singlet oxygen was added to the chloroplast suspension, the chlorophyll and carotenoid contents were decreased by more than 809), similar to treatment with high light intensity (100 KLux). We assumed that the conversion of dioxygen (O2) produced either in photolysis or in breakdown of hydrogen peroxide to singlet oxygen resulted from photorespiration. On the basis of these experiments , :he inhibitory effects of active oxygen scavengers propylgallic acid (PGA), 2,5-ditetrabutyl hydroquinon (DBH), sodium pyrosulfate (SPS), and ascorbic acid (ABS) were examined. In chloroplast suspension all four scavengers inhibited chlorophyll bleaching by more than 75fl , and in the leaf discs the inhibition rates of SPS, PGA and ABS were 46%, 51%, and 96% respectively.

디지털 컨텐츠 산업의 성장, 전자상거래의 활성화, 기업의 홈페이지 활용 증가 등으로 온 · 오프라인에서 컨텐츠의 수요가 증가하면서 컨텐츠를 관리하는 컨텐츠 관리 시스템 시장의 성장 잠재성이 높아가고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 컨텐츠 관리 시스템의 마지막 단계인 컨텐츠 배포 단계에 있어 모든 사용자에게 동일한 컨텐츠를 제공하는 것이 아니라 사용자의 관심에 따라 다른 컨텐츠를 동적으로 제공하는 컨텐츠 추천 시스템을 설계 및 구현한다. 본 시스템은 규칙 기반 추천 방식을 사용하고 있으며 규칙으로는 사용자간의 연관성을 나타내는 사용자 협업적 규칙과 항목간의 연관성을 나타내는 항목 협업적 규칙이 존재 한다. 또한 컨텐츠에 대한 사용자의 선호도를 측정하기 위해서 선호범위를 정의하고 있으며 취미, 관심분야와 같이 하나 이상의 값을 가질 수 있는 다중 값을 처리하고 있다. 시스템은 추천을 위한 정보 즉, 선호범위와 사용자 프로파일 그리고 규칙들을 생성하는 오프라인 작업과 이러한 정보를 이용하여 실시간으로 사용자에게 추천해주는 온라인 작업으로 나뉘어 진다.
Glucan 처리 당근에서 Phenylalanine Ammonia - Lyase 의 활성에 미치는 에틸렌 및 Ca2+ 의 효과

Involvement of ethylene and Ca^2+ on the induction of pheaylalanine ammonis-lyase (PAL) was investigated in Daucus carota L. suspension culture system. Ethylene production started to increase about 3 h after glucan treatment. And the maximal induction of ethylene was preceded by PAL induction by 30 min. After the treatment of ethrel, PAL activity was increased. When calls were treated with glucan and Co^2+, PAL activity was simutaneously reduced. Ethylene production was reduced dramatically in calcium-free medium, even though glucan was treated. PAL activity and ethylene production was inhibited conspicuously when ethylene glycolbis(β-aminoethyl ether) N_+N_+N^-_+N^+ - tetraacetic acid (EGTA) was treated with glucan. Verapamil and trifluoperazine also inhibited PAL activity. When cells were treated with calcium ionophore A23187, PAL activity was increased in nontreated medium. We report here PAL activity is increased in related to ethylene production and involvement of Ca^2+ in glucan-treated carrot suspension cells.
