기상요인과 채취시기가 옻나무 칠액채취량 및 칠액의 質에 미치는 영향
김만조 한국자원식물학회 1998 한국자원식물학회지 Vol.11 No.1
This study was conducted to understand the effects of weather and tapping date on yield and quality of lactree(Rhus verniciflua) sap yield showed a significant positive correlation with the minimum temperature of one day before sap collection at 1% level and with theminimum humidity of theday of sap collection at 5% level. However, the differences between the maximum and the minimum temperatures and humidities of the day of sap collection were negatively correlated with the sap yield at 5% level. Multiple regression analysis indicated that the minimum temperature of one day bofore sap collection and the minumum humidity of the day sap collection were important factors for increasing sap yield. The high sap yield of lactree by Japanese tapping method was recorded during mid-July and early August. Seasonal variation in lactree sap constituents was observed. The sap collected on 15th of August contained the highest urushiol content (68.3%) and the lowest water content resulting in high quality of lactree sap. By reversed-phase HPLC analysis, fove urushiol components were separated from each other depending on the number of doulbe bonds in the side-chain , and seaxonal variation of urushiol composition was noticed. The 3-C15 triene content fo the sap collected on 5th of July was the highest(77.56%) indicating the major component of urushiol which affects lactree sap quality.

Object: This study was designed to determine whether music in the intraoperative and postoperative period under regional anesthesia could improve the relief of pain. Methods and materials: Sixty-two patients who underwent orthopedic surgery under regional anesthesia were randomly assigned to (a) listening to music (Group Ⅰ) or (b) no music in the intraoperative and postoperative period (Group Ⅱ). The premedication, surgical technique and anesthesia were all standardized. Results: Pain was significantly lower (pain: P-0.016) in the Group Ⅰ compared with the Group Ⅱ. Patients showed relatively good satisfaction with music in Group Ⅰ. Conclusion: Music is effective to reduce post-operative pain.

Dieulafoy's lesion is an uncommon source of massive gastrointestinal hemorrhage. The lesion predominantly occurs in the proximal stomach, but may occur in all parts of the gastrointestinal tract including small bowel, colon and rectum. We herein report a case of a patient who presented with hematochezia from Dieulafoy's lesion of the terminal ileum with adherent blood clots. Bleeding was successfully controlled with endoscopic treatment by utilizing hemoclipping.

The cultivation of wild greens under the conventional culture system has been increasing in Korea, but the production cost is high and the quality of the products’ flavor and aroma is not as good as that of uncultivated wild plants. Thus, cultivation of wild greens in a forest farming system is an attractive alternative to wild harvesting, due to its much lower production cost compared with conventional cultivation, and its provision of a second income to the landowner. Yet little is known about the conditions that would maximize the growth of wild greens in a forest farming system. Thus, this study was conducted to evaluate the optimal conditions that would maximize the yield of Ligularia fischeri (Ledeb.) Turcz., which is being cultivated in three forest farming systems in Korea. After the fibrous roots of L. fischeri were planted in hardwood forests, the environmental conditions therein were measured, including the relative light intensity, soil moisture content, and plant growth characteristics such as the survival rate, total number of leaves, and leaf width. The results showed that the light intensity and tree density in such sites were significantly correlated with the leaf growth. It is thus suggested that the 20–40% light transmittance that was measured in the open field is the optimal condition for the growth and yield of L. fischeri in a forest farming system. The results of this study can help formulate a management plan for when thinning practices should be performed, to establish a forest farming system and to maintain a suitable tree density for the cultivation of wild greens.
