        Study on the encapsulation characteristics of inorganic composite thin films deposited on polymer substrates. Kim, Deok-Soo Department of Physics The Graduate School, Catholic University of Daegu (Supervised by Professor Kim, Jong-Jae) (Abstract) This paper purposes to analyze the encapsulation characteristics of inorganic composite thin film which are caused by polymer substrates to manufacture the flexible organic light emitting diodes. Recently, a wide-screen trend of display panel requires bendable, light and transparent polymer material replace the existing glass. But polymer substrates have problems with thermal unstability and high permeability of water vapor. These problems are deadly defects for application of OLED which degraded quickly within a few hours by the permeation of oxygen and water vapor under ambient atmosphere. In this study, SZO(SiO2 : ZnO) inorganic composite thin films are fabricated on PET, PEN and PES substrate by RF - magnetron sputtering method at room temperature using a compound oxide target. The Optical transmittance, water vapor transmission rate (WVTR) and surface states are investigated. The high optical transmittance and low WVTR is observed at lower RF power. The optimal experimental conditions with respect to high transmittance and low WVTR are RF power 20W and film thickness of 500nm. Optical transmittance over 80% and WVTR 5×10-3 g/m2ㆍday are measured.

      • 內關(PC-6) 및 胃兪(BL-21)의 刺針 및 水針이 Xylazine을 투여한 개에서의 嘔吐 抑制效果

        This study was performed to elucidate the effectiveness of needling acupuncture and aqua-acupuncture in dogs. Experimental group was divided into PC-6 and BL-21 in acupuncture and aqua-acupuncture groups. 2% Xylazine was injected to the all dogs for induction of emesis, and needling acupuncture and aqua-acupuncture groups (0.5% metoclopramide) were applied to animals for 20 min. before xylazine injection, respectively. The results obtained were as follows; Emetic rates in PC-6 (33.3%) and BL-21(16.7%) were lower than that of control group (44.4%) in needling acupuncture groups, respectively. Emetic rates in PC-6 (16.7 %) and BL-21(0.0 %) were lower than that of control group (38.9 %) in aqua-acupuncture groups, respectively. Based on these findings, anti-emetic effects in BL-21 needling acupuncture and aqua-acupuncture groups were more effective than those of PC-6 stimulation groups, and BL-21 aqua-acupuncture group was the most effective among them.

      • 지붕 형상에 따른 아트리움 실내의 기류 및 열환경 특성

        아트리움에서는 태양 복사와 외기 조건에 의해 실내 열환경이 급격히 악화되는 경우가 발생한다. 본 연구에서는 냉방 설계 조건하에서 각기 다른 형상의 지붕을 가진 세 가지 아트리움 공간에서의 기류 및 열환경 특성을 검토하였다. 연구 결과에 의하면 세 가지 지붕 아트리움 형상중 공간 전체의 냉방에 가장 유리한 지붕은 지붕으로부터의 대류 열부하가 작게 나타나고 FCU로부터의 냉각 공기가 플래넘 상층부에까지 원활하게 순환되는 원형 지붕 아트리움으로 판명되었다. 원형 지붕 아트리움에서 유리 지붕을 투과한 태양 복사량이 좌우측 및 하부 벽면의 온도를 실내온도 대비 최대 15℃ 상승시키므로 FCU에서 거리가 먼 좌우측벽의 상부위치에 미술품등을 설치할 때는 단열재등에 의한 보호가 요구됨을 알 수 있었다.

      • 점성유동 수치해석법에 의한 선박용 추진기 단독성능 해석

        This paper describes a RAN equation based method for the prediction of the steady performance of marine propellers. The governing equations are unsteady three-dimensional incompressible Reynolds-Averaged Navier-Stokes (RANS) equations in generalized coordinates. The present method employs the non-staggered grid, finite analytic discretization, and the Baldwin-Lamax turbulence model. In this paper, three model propellers were used for the computational analysis. The model propeller P4119 has 12-inch diameter and three blades of relatively simple geometry, P4842 is a five bladed, skewed propeller model representing a modern marine propeller, and the podded propeller model was designed by KRISO(Van and Moon, 2000) for open-water characteristics test. Viscous-flow results are presented for the all three propeller models. Overall close agreements with available experimental data are shown for open-water performances, blade-section pressures, and circumferentially-averaged velocity profiles. However, some discrepancies are also found, for instance, unrealistic pressures at the leading edges of the propellers and open-water performances of the podded propeller. The former is due to the grid of insufficient resolution and quality and the latter due to the inability of the present method to include the strut of the podded propeller for the unsteady-flow analysis. For practical applications of RANS methods to the performance prediction and the design of marine propellers, the following improvements are needed. Firstly, grid quality must be improved by using a multi-block grid to handle realistic propeller shapes including appendages. Secondly, the computational methods should be extended by using a sliding-mesh scheme for the analysis of unsteady propeller flows.

      • JTC 실측채널모델에서 OFDM의 성능분석

        본 논문에서는 JTC(Joint Technical Committee) 실측채널모델에서 OFDM의 성능을 분석하였다. 최근 들어 이동 통신 가입자들 사이에서 대용량의 신뢰성 높은 광대역의 무선 멀티미디어 서비스에 대한 요구가 날로 증가해 가고 있다. 일반적으로 멀티미디어 서비스에서는 수 십 또는 수 백 Mbps의 데이터 전송률을 필요로 한다. 이와 같은 고속의 데이터 전송시, 전송되는 데이터가 다중경로 페이딩을 겪게 되면 인접 심볼간 간섭(181)이 심하게 발생하게 된다. 그런데, OFDM 전송방식은 이와 같은 인접 심볼간 간섭을 효과적으로 다룰 수 있다. 이와 같은 이유로 요즈음 많은 대학과 연구소에서 OFDM에 대한 연구가 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 이런 배경 가운데, 본 논문에서는 ITC 실측채널모델을 적용하여 OFDM의 성능을 분석하였다. 모의 실험을 통하여서는 먼저 여러 가지 변조방식(QPSK, 16-QAM, 64-QAM) 을 적용하여 OFDM의 송·수신기를 간략하게 모델화하였다. 그 다음 ITC 실측 채널을 이용하여 광대역 채널 모델화를 이루었다. 이 채널 모델화를 기본으로 하여 OFDM 수신기에서 수신 SER을 살펴봄으로써, 광대역 채널에서의 OFDM의 성능을 분석하였다. 또한 다중경로 채널상에서 발생하는 성능열화를 Pilot Training Symbol을 이용하여 채널 추정 및 보상함으로써 성능개선을 이루었다. In this thesis, I analyzed the performance of OFDM(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) system over JTC(Joint Technical Committee) realistic channel model. Recently, there are increasing demands among wireless mobile subscribers on the broadband wireless multimedia services with high capacity and reliability, Data rate of a few tens or hundreds Mbps is generally required in multimedia services. ISI(Inter-Symbol Interference), which is the severe problem in the case of the existence of multi-path fading, can be effectively reduced in OFDM transmission system. I first made the simple model of OFDM system and the wideband multipath channel model by using the ITC power profile. Then, I analyzed the performance of the OFDM system through computer simulation over the ITC realistic channel model. Additionally, I examined the performance by using pilot training symbol, which is one of the channel estimation methods, over the same channel environments. Through the results of computer simulation, the relatively shorter channel delay spread is, the relatively better the performance is. By estimating channel, I can get more reliable results. In the case having longer delay spread than the required Guard Interval, however, saturation is occurred. In this case, ISI and ICI are occurred. In the OFDM system with 16-QAM modulation scheme and 64-QAM modulation scheme, I can also get reliable performances by using the channel.

        Mencius was born in Chu(추: 鄒) of the ancient China. His dates are uncertain. It is reported that he lived in the 4th century BC. In the period of "Warring States" in the ancient China, there existed such phenomena as the specialization of various sciences, the prevalence of each lecture styles, freedom of though and that of speech and writing, and taking a serious view on the man of ability. And at that result Hundred Schools made a sudden rise in almost every district. He championed the ethical and political doctrines of Confucius, at the same time attacking with great zeal the heterodox teachings of the other schools. He also elaborated Confucius' dogma until it attained a high standard of perfection. He's got the belief in Innate Goodness. Mencius said, "All people have something that they cannot stand to see. When this feeling penetrates to those things which they can stand, this is jen. All people have something that they will not do. When this attitude penetrates to those things that they will do, this is Righteousness. When people fully develop a heart which is unable to harm others, then their jen is beyond the point of ever being challenged. If they are able to fully develop the kind of constitution in which theft is inconceivable, then their Righteousness is beyond the point of ever being challenged. When a man can fully develop his dislike for being addressed, "Hey, you," there is no place he will go and not be Righteous. When the shih should not speak, but does, this is beguilement by speaking. When he should speak, but doesn't, this is beguilement by silence. Both can be considered as thievery. With his historical view based on moral belief as ethical ideal that it would finally relieve our own world, Mencius successed to Yao, Shun, Y? T`ang, W? In his contribution to Confucianism, as in his defence of the great tradition, he occupies a unique position among the followers of Confucius, He was, like Confucius, an indefatigable teacher of morals and government. He left to posterity a system of ethico-political doctrines well expounded numerous discourses with kings and commoners. Mencius' whole proposition is summed up as the Royal Road(王道) and the theoretical foundation of the Royal Road is the ethical doctrine that man's inborn nature is good(性善說). So we must know the meaning of the ethical doctrine in order to understand the Royal Road. For understanding the ethical doctrine, exact understanding about the four cause of the good(四端) as well as 'the wide and large energy'(浩然之氣) and 'the night energy'(夜氣) is necessary. Furthermore, we must understand the close co-relation of the three things at the same time. For this reason, I demonstrated the logical course from the four cause of the good to the four virtue(四德:仁·義·禮·智) when human being's inborn good nature is connected to the existing ideas of morals after prescribing the meaning of human being's inborn good nature with studying the meaning of 'inborn' in 'the human being's inborn good nature' used by Mencius in order to show the ethical doctrine as the foundation of the Royal Road. In this line, I criticised Mencius' proposal of the relation between the four cause of the good and the four virture and explained why Mencius proposed the ethical doctrine in the light of that times. From that on, I considered the foundation of course from the four cause of the good to the four virtue with segregating Mind as activity and status of the two modes in the course of realizing the four cause of the good. For the last step, I explained how ordinary people cultivate his inborn nature reversely taking the completed Saint's four virtue. Also I explained what 'the wide and large energy' and 'the night energy' are and how these things are connected to 'the inborn nature' by reasoning 'mind'(心), 'willingness'(志), 'energy'(氣) and 'activity'(身). This kind of proposition could be felt strange to the people understanding the thought of Mencius with the foundation of Sung Confucianism, but this proposal will present new point of view for the 'real' thought of Mencius.

      • 웹 기반에서 감수분열과 멘델유전의 통합개념 제시가 학생들의 유전개념 이해에 미치는 효과

        감수분열과 유전은 생물학에서 서로 연관되어 있는 중요한 개념들로 인정받고 있지만, 학생들이 매우 어렵게 생각하는 개념들이다. 따라서 본 연구는 제7차 교육과정의 중학교 3학년 생물단원에서 감수분열과 유전 내용을 분석하고, 학생들이 보다 쉽게 이해하고 접근할 수 있도록 감수분열과 유전의 통합된 모형을 제시하는 Web기반 코스웨어의 개발과 개발된 코스웨어를 학생들에게 투입하여 학생들의 유전개념 이해에 미치는 효과를 분석하는데 목적이 있다. 본 연구에서 개발된 코스웨어는 Web에서 실시간으로 구현하도록 제작하여 전문가 집단으로부터 검증을 받아 수정·보완을 하였다. 또한 코스웨어 투입 효과를 분석하기 위해 중학교 3학년을 대상으로, 비교집단 2개 반과 실험집단 1개 반을 선정하여 사후 개념 검사지로 소집단 평가를 실시하였다. 연구방법으로는 중학교 3학년 과학 교과서에 실려 있는 1단원 세포분열과 8단원 유전과 진화에서 유전 부분을 정교화 분석(Elaboration analysis) 및 위계구조 분석(Hierarchical analysis)을 하고, 분석된 자료를 바탕으로 중요한 개념들을 5개 영역으로 구분하여 코스웨어를 개발하였으며, 개발된 코스웨어를 Web에 탑재하고 학생들이 인터넷을 이용하여 학습하였을 때와 강의식으로 통합개념을 학습하였을 때 학생들의 개념 성취도를 비교 분석하였다. 개발된 코스웨어를 활용하여 통합개념으로 수업을 실시한 실험집단과 개념들을 통합하지 않고 수업을 진행한 비교집단 및 강의식으로 통합개념을 적용한 비교집단 사이에서 소집단 평가 결과 실험집단의 성취도 점수가 다른 2개의 비교집단보다 유의도 1% 수준의 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 학생들의 학업성취도를 비교해보면, 통합개념을 적용한 강의식 비교집단 학생들의 성취율이 54.7%인데 반하여 Web을 활용하여 비통합적으로 학습을 한 비교집단 학생들의 성취 백분율은 57.6%이고, Web적용 실험집단의 성취 백분율은 65.2%로 나타났다. 이는 Web을 통한 코스웨어 활용 수업이, 그리고 Web을 적용하며 통합된 개념으로 학습하는 것이 학생들의 올바른 개념형성에 도움이 되는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 본 코스웨어는 암기 위주로 학습하던 감수분열과 유전에 대하여 Web을 통해 간접적인 경험을 제공함으로써 학생들의 이해에 도움을 줄 뿐만 아니라 감수분열과 유전의 통합개념 형성에 활용될 수 있을 것이다. 또한, 현재 7차 교육과정에서 분리되어 있는 감수분열단원과 유전단원을 하나의 단원으로 통합하는 새로운 교육과정의 개발로 이어지기를 기대한다. Meiosis and heredity are considered as closely connected concepts in biology, but it's difficult for students to understand concept. So the aims of this study are to analyze the texts of meiosis and heredity in the middle school third graders' curriculum, to develop the web-based courseware suggesting the integrated model of the effect on students' understanding in applying the courseware to students' learning process. The courseware provides real time data on the web site. Some experts evaluated this courseware and we did small group tests for third graders of middle school on the based of their correction. We set two comparison groups and one experimental group for the tests. For the small group tests, a questionnaire was surveyed after the concept learning. This study has been processed based on the following steps. 1) to analyze the contents of 'cell division' and 'heredity' parts on lesson 1 of the science test book with elaborate and hierarchical way. 2) To develop the courseware using the main concepts classified into 5 parts based on the step 1. 3) To upload this courseware to help students' learning process on the internet. 4) To compare the differences in students' concept understanding between on the internet and in normal class. There was a meaningful difference by 1 percent between the experimental group with integrated concept learning containing the courseware and two comparison groups, one was composed of learners without integrated concept learning and the other with integrated concept but in teacher's lecturing-centered classroom. According to analysis of the result, percentage in students; learning accomplishment shows some difference. The group which took lecture on the integrated concept showed 54.7%, the other comparison group using web site without integrated concept learning showed 57.6% and the experimental group 65.2%. It suggested that it's more helpful to use courseware and integrated concept learning method based on web in students' concept formation. This courseware is effective in students' learning on meiosis and heredity by providing web materials rather than traditionally memorizing-centered method, which is expected to be adapted in integrated concept formation on meiosis and heredity. And it might be considered to combining the two parts 'meiosis' and 'heredity' which were organized in different sections on 7th curriculum.
