본 연구에서는 새의 날개운동을 모사하기 위하여 스마트 재료를 이용한 플래핑 날개를 설계 및 제작하였다. 날개는 복합재료 프레임과 유연한 PVC 표피 그리고 표면 작동기로 구성되어 있으며, 주요 날개운동으로서 날갯짓, 비틀림 그리고 캠버 운동을 선정하였다. 날개의 캠버를 변화시키기 위하여 Macro-Fiber Composite를 표면작동기로서 적용하였으며, 압전-열 관계식을 이용하여 MFC의 구조 응답을 해석하였다. 양력과 추력을 동시에 측정하기 위하여 두개의 로드셀로 구성된 시험대를 제작하였으며, 공기역학적 특성을 평가하기 위하여 풍동실험을 수행하였다. 실험결과로부터 주요 양력은 기체의 전진속도와 피치각에 의존되며, 추력은 날갯짓 주파수에 의존됨을 확인하였다. 또한 MFC 작동기를 이용한 캠버효과를 통하여 정적조건에서 24.4%와 동적조건에서 20.8%의 충분한 양력증가를 확인할 수 있었다. In the present study, we have developed a flapping wing using a smart material to mimic the nature's flyers, birds. The wing consists of composite frames, a flexible PVC film and a surface actuator, and the main wing motions are flapping, twisting and camber motions. To change the camber, a Macro-Fiber Composite(MFC) is used as the surface actuator, and it's structural response is analyzed by the use of piezoelectric-thermal analogy. To measure the lift and thrust simultaneously, a test stand consisting of two load cells is manufactured. Some aerodynamic tests are performed for the wing in a subsonic wind tunnel to evaluate the dynamic characteristics. Experimental results show that the main lift is mostly affected by the forward velocity and the pitch angle, but the thrust is mostly affected by the flapping frequency. The effect of the camber generated by the MFC actuator can produce the sufficient lift increment of up to 24.4% in static condition and 20.8% in dynamic condition.
The purpose of study is to suggest related importance of promotional strategies of Southwest Coast Tourism & Leisure City. A’WOT method, which is connection of AHP with SWOT analysis, was used for improving the usability of SWOT analysis. 16 strategies with 4 categories were produced in the process of SWOT analysis and presented to 20 experts for AHP process. As a result, we found priorities of each promotional strategy as follow; ‘Create a Blue Ocean by a variety of recreational facilities and programs (ST Strategy)’, ‘Introduce of appropriate recreational facilities for Core target market (SO Strategy)’, ‘Create a Blue Ocean by improved tourism capacity of contiguous region (WT Strategy)’, ‘Build a regional cooperation and joint promotion with contiguous region (WO Strategy)’. In accordance with this result, the governments and constructors may more focus on how to provide a differentiated service or experiences compared with both domestic and foreign tourist attraction sport.
The purpose of study was to suggest the importance of operational efficiency on convention center. Convention industry, as a strategic industry, has been growing rapidly. However, most convention centers in Korea, except for some, have been recorded that their operational management are not working efficiently. The efficiency in private sector as well as public sector is one of the most important criteria to evaluate organization's operations and performance. This study was designed by using DEA (Data Envelopment Analysis) technique to analyze the efficiency of convention center. DEA tool facilitate an efficiency assessment of each convention centers and its relative efficiency. It will identify how convention center will be managed as in terms of constructive measurement as well as explain the difference between organizational efficiency.
The purpose of this study was to suggest improvements to the '2009 MICE Industry Statistics Survey' which was designed for understanding the current scale of MICE industry and its ripple effect. '2009 MICE industry statistics survey' was very significant that it was the first attempt to include the whole mice industry. In order to gain credibility of statistics, researchers held thrice workshops with experts of each area. Nevertheless, researchers found several improvements for future survey. Firstly, statistics survey will conduct the appropriate moment for the purpose of its timeliness. Secondly, forming a consultative group with various stakeholders will be helpful for consensus between each sector of MICE industry. Thirdly, in order to use the statistics in business industry, accessibility of statistics may need to be strengthened. Finally, demand side, which includes the actual expense of local residents as well as foreigners, will conduct a survey at the same period with supply side for an accurate ripple effect of MICE industry. Through all these efforts will lead to high credibility and better use of MICE statistics.
