Modified Weighted Filter Algorithm for Noise Elimination In Mixed Noise Environments

Noise is regarded as an unwanted component of the image because it significantly reduces image quality. And image is often corrupted by mixed noise. In this paper an efficient modified weighted filter algorithm which combines spatial weight and intensity weight is proposed for removing mixed noise. In the proposed method, the filtering mask is separated into the four sub-windows and the parameters of the weights are confirmed by calculating local standard deviation and the mean of four sub-windows' standard deviations. Considering the spatial information and intensity information, the proposed method has good performance on not only noise elimination but also preservation of details. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed method performs better than conventional algorithms.

微分方程式으로 주어지는 높은 次數의 動特性 시스템의 安定度를 Lyapunov 理論을 利用하여 解析하였다. 大規模 시스템 自體를 直接 解析함에 있어서는 그의 複雜性과 次數問題가 擡頭되어 매우 곤란하다. 따라서 可能한限 보다 작은 次數의 시스템으로 分割하여 解析하고 이를 다시 合成하여 綜合 解析하였으며 分割된 작은 次數의 시스템에 대해서는 數學行列의 安定特性을 利用한 새로운 形態의 Lyapunov 函數를 使用하였다. 應用의 한 例로써, 3個의 同期發電機를 가진 電力系統에 適用하여 旣存의 方法보다 容易하게 이 시스템의 安定度를 判別할 수 있었다.

Vibrio vulnificus infection characterized by extraintestinal manifestations, that is, sepsis and severe wound infection. We experienced a case of sepsis due to V. vulnificus in a patient with liver cirrhosis. Two days prior to admission, the patient ate shell fish soup and partially roasted small octopus. After massive diarrhea far one day, he admitted due to low blood pressure and bilateral painful edematous skin lesion. The skin was markedly edematous and showed rapidly progressing multiple necrotic areas from feet to cephalad. He expired in spite of aggressive therapy. On his blood culture, pseudomonas was isolated initially, but V-vulnificus was isolated after reexamination. Antibiotic susceptibility test showed that all antibiotics tested except cephalothin and penicillin were sensitive.

In the electron gun of a CRT, the physical construction of beam forming region exhibts vital effect on the size of beam spot. In this paper, the characteristics of beam size, which is a function of aperture diameter of grid G₁and gap distance G₂ and G₃, are presented based on a series of experiments conducted by the author on the 12 inch monchrom CRTs. It has been confirmed that the smaller aperture of G₁ with the lower beam current generally assures the sharper beam spot and that the optimal combination for obtaining the smallest beam spot size on the screen is 0.35mm aperture on G₁ and 0.30mm gap between G₂ and G₃, if all other conditions remain unchanged.

This paper presents an analysis of service environment for a Distribution Automation System(DAS) and its architecture in terms of communication schemes and shows a technical criteria to choose the optimum communication scheme for DAS. Based upon the criteria, a DAS wireless-local-loop(WLL) has been proposed. Also the overview of DAS WLL and its protocol architecture have been described in detail. Implementation parameters for the DAS have been presented and their technical issues have been discussed.

The characteristics of the Internet which will be categorized as a new media, has to be defined in order to understand the relationship between the contents and the advertisement provided through the Internet nowadays, It Would be a prerequisite to make in-depth analyses on the difference between the Internet and traditional media, and also on the usage of the Internet to grasp the interrelationship between the advertisement and the marketing on the Internet Shopping-Mall, which will accordingly render a cue to draw out a methodology and a strategy to leverage on. Web logs contain 'hidden' knowledge that can be extracted by using a new knowledge extraction mechanism - datamining. The extracted knowledge is useful for web server management, web server management, web page reconfiguration, advanced customer analysis, and dynamic web services including personalized marketing data. We propose datamining model for Web logs and users purchasing data, and the usefulness and applications of the extracted knowledge.

본 논문에서는 컬러 비디오 시퀀스 상에서 눈과 입에 해당하는 얼굴 특징점을 고속으로 추출하는 방법을 제안한다. 자유로운 움직임을 갖는 얼굴 영역을 안정적으로 추출하기 위해 얼굴 색상 분포를 이용한 색상 변환 영상에 움직임 검출 기법을 적용하여 움직이는 살색 부분만을 효율적으로 검출하는 색상 움직임 개념을 사용하였다. 움직임 정보는 살색의 가능성 정도에 따라 가중치가 주어지며 화소 단위의 움직임 여부를 결정하는 문턱값도 살색의 가능성 정도에 따라 적응적으로 결정된다. 눈의 색상분포와 형태소 연산자를 사용한 움직임 살색 영역에서 눈 후보 영역을 추출하고 눈과 눈썹의 상호 위치 관계를 이용하여 눈의 영역을 최종 결정한다. 입의 영역은 눈의 위치를 기준으로 입 후보 영역을 정하고 색상 히스토그램을 이용하여 입의 영역을 검출한다. 찾아진 눈과 입의 영역에서 정확한 특징점의 위치를 구하기 위해 PCA (Principal Component Analysis)를 사용하였다. 실험 결과 복잡한 배경, 개인적인 편차, 얼굴의 방향과 크기 등에 영향을 받지 않고 고속으로 정확한 얼굴의 특징점을 추출할 수 있었다. This paper presents an automatic facial feature point extraction algorithm in sequential color images. To extract facial region in the video sequence, a moving color detection technique is proposed that emphasize moving skin color region by applying motion detection algorithm on the skin-color transformed images. The threshold value for the pixel difference detection is also decided according to the transformed pixel value that represents the probability of the desired color information. Eye candidate regions are selected using both of the black/white color information inside the skin-color region and the valley information of the moving skin region detected using morphological operators. Eye region is finally decided by the geometrical relationship of the eyes and color histogram. To decide the exact feature points, the PCA(Principal Component Analysis) is used on each eye and mouth regions. Experimental results show that the feature points of eye and mouth can be obtained correctly irrespective of background, direction and size of face.
