        측후방 충돌 안전 시스템을 위한 횡방향 충돌 위험 평가 지수 개발

        This paper presents a lateral collision risk index between an ego vehicle and a rear-side vehicle. The lateral collision risk is designed to represent a lateral collision risk and provide the appropriate threshold value of activation of the lateral collision management system such as the Blind Spot Detection(BSD). The lateral collision risk index is designed using the Time to Line Crossing(TLC) and the longitudinal collision index at the predicted TLC. TLC and the longitudinal collision index are calculated with the signals from the exterior sensor such as the radar equipped on the rear-side of a vehicle and a vision sensor which detects the distance and time to the lane departure. For the robust situation assessment, the perception of driving environment determining whether the road is straighten or curved should be determined. The relative motion estimation method has been proposed with the road information via the integrated estimator using the environment sensors and vehicle sensor. A lateral collision risk index was composed with the estimated relative motion considering the relative yaw angle. The performance of the proposed lateral collision risk index is investigated via computer simulations conducted using the vehicle dynamics software CARSIM and Matlab/Simulink.

        전(全)방향 충돌 회피를 위한 액츄에이터 최적 분배 알고리즘

        This paper presents a unified control algorithm of independent braking and steering for collision avoidance. The desired motion of the vehicle in the yaw plane is determined using the probabilistic risk assessment method based on target state estimation. For the purpose of coordinating the independent braking and steering, a non-linear vehicle model has been developed, which describes the vehicle dynamics in the yaw plane in both linear and extended non-linear ranges of handling. A control allocation algorithm determines the control inputs that minimize the difference between the desired and actual vehicle motions, while satisfying all actuator constraints. The performance of the proposed control algorithm has been investigated via computer simulations conducted using the vehicle dynamics software CARSIM and Matlab/Simulink.

      • Purification and Characterization of $\alpha$-Galactosidase from Escherichia coli

        Raffinose 배지에서 배양한 E. coli세포로 부터 $\alpha$-galactopyrosyl linkage를 가수분해시키는 $\alpha$-galactosidase를 순수 분리 정제하였으며, 얻어진 효소는 disc gel 전기영동 실험에서 단일 단백질 임이 밝혀졌다. 이 효소의 비 활성도는 63.0 units/mg protein으로서 비교적 높은 활성도를 갖고 있었으며 SDS-gel에 의한 전기영동 실험과 침강 원심분리 방법에 의한 침강 속도값의 측청 결과에 의한 분자량 값은 각각 55,000과 240,000 dalton이였는바 이로부터 이 효소의 구조가 tetramer 임을 추측할 수 있었다. 이 효소는 식물의 씨앗이나 동물조직으로 부터 얻은 동종의 효소와 비교해 볼때 상이한 기질 특이성을 갖고 있을뿐 아니라 특히 2-mercaptoethanol과 $NAD^+$ 존재하에서 효소 활성도가 크게 증가된다는 점이 특이하며, 효소 희석에 의한 불활성화 현상도 이 효소의 특이성이라 할 수 있다. 한편 이 효소는 $\alpha$-galactoside의 가수분해 반응뿐 아니라 galactosyl group을 cellobiose나 maltose등에 이전시킬 수 있는 transgalatosylation 반응도 촉진시킴을 알 수 있었다. The $\alpha$-galactosidase($\alpha$-D-galactohydrolase, EC 3.2.1.22) was isolated from the cells of E. coli and purified to physical homogeneity by a combination of ammonium sulfate fractionation, DEAE-cellulose ion exchange chromatography, and molecular sieve gel filtration. The final purified enzyme showed a single band on polyacrylamide disc gel electrophoresis and had a specific activity of 63.0 units per mg protein based on p-nitrophenyl-$\alpha$-D-galactoside (PNPGaI) as the substrate. The apparent molecular weight of the enzyme was estimated to be about 55,000 and 240,000 based on the electrophoretical mobility on dodecyl sulfate gel and she $S_{20,w}$ value of 10.7 S, respectively. This suggests the enzyme has a tetrameric structure in its active form. Its optimum pH was 8.3. The enzyme showed a reversible inactivation by dilution, but such an inactivation could be prevented by the presence of $NAD^+$ and mercaptoethanol. In addition, unlike other known glycosidases, this enzyme required $NAD^+$ and mercaptoethanol as the cofactors for its full activity. The substrate specificity of the enzyme was limited toward $\alpha$-galactopyranosides, and the estimated $K_m$ values for PNPGal, melibiose and raffinose were 2.5 mM, 35.6 mM and 26.2 mM, respectively. It was also demonstrated that the enzyme is capable of transgalactosylation from PNPGal to a limited number of galactosyl acceptor sugars such as cellobiose, maltose lactose and sucrose.

        토론 중심의 독서교육이 인문계 고등학생의 인성과 사회성 발달에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

        본 연구는 고등학생을 대상으로 전방향 독서법을 적용한 독서토론 프로그램을 실시한 후 학생들의 인성 및 사회성 변화에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 파악하고자 수행되었다. 이를 위하여 충주에 위치한 고등학교 1학년과 2학년 학생을 대상으로 독서토론 프로그램을 실시하고 사전검사와 사후검사를 실시하였다. 연구결과, 토론 중심의 독서교육은 인문계 고등학생의 인성과 사회성 발달에 효과적인 것으로 나타났다. This study aims to present the effects of discussion-centered reading education on high school students' personality & sociality using omnidirectional reading-discussion programs. To this end, we adopt an experimental research design with pre/post-test on personality and sociality using the program with the first and second grades high school students located in Chungju City as participants. The results show that the discussion-centered reading education has significant effects on the personality and sociality of high-school students.

        MMS를 이용한 암묵적 모바일 컨텐츠 전송 및 제어 기법

        대부분의 이동통신 단말기는 사용자 간에 멀티미디어 메시지를 송수신할 수 있도록 MMS를 지원한다. MMS는 다양한 이동통신 단말기에 적합하게 설계되었고 이미 무선 환경에서 효과적으로 동작하고 있으므로 MMS를 이용한 모바일 컨텐츠 제공 방법은 효율적일 수 있다. 그러나 이동통신 사업자가 사용자에게 모바일 컨텐츠를 제공하기 위해 기존의 MMS를 그대로 이용하는 방법은 몇 가지 단점을 가진다. 본 논문은 이를 해결한 데이터 전송 및 제어 기법을 제안한다. 제안된 기법은 새로운 프로토콜 설계 없이 기존 MMS 시스템의 일부 소프트웨어적인 수정만으로 사용자들에게 보다 쉽게 모바일 컨텐츠를 제공할 수 있도록 지원하는 장점을 가진다. 또한 이동통신 사업자는 제안된 기법을 통하여 이미 제공한 모바일 컨텐츠를 관리할 수 있기 때문에 모바일 일간 뉴스, 자동 S/W 업그레이드 서비스, 모바일 광고 등 다양한 부가서비스를 제공할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 시뮬레이션을 통해 MMS를 이용하여 이동통신 사업자 스스로 사용자에게 모바일 컨텐츠를 전송하고 제어할 수 있음을 증명하였다. Almost every mobile phone supports MMS to send and receive multimedia messages among users. MMS is suitable for different types of mobile phones and effectively operates in wireless environments. So the mobile content delivery method using MMS can be efficient. However, there would be some problems if a mobile service provider tries to deliver mobile content to subscribers by using the existing MMS. In this paper, we propose an improved data transmission and control scheme for MMS. Our scheme assists mobile service providers to deliver mobile contents easily by modifying the MMS system software. By using our scheme, mobile service providers are able to manage mobile contents stored in mobile devices. Therefore, they can provide various services such as mobile daily news service, automatic software upgrade service, mobile advertising service, etc. We verify the possibility of the proposed scheme through simulation.

        평판 디텍터 기반 마이크로 CT시스템을 위한 Ring Artifact 보정 방법

        The most troublesome artifacts in micro computed tomography (micro-CT) are ring artifacts. The ring artifacts are caused by non-uniform sensitivity and defective pixels of the x-ray detector. These ring artifacts seriously degrade the quality of CT images. In flat-panel detector based micro-CT systems, the ring artifacts are hardly removed by conventional correction methods of digital radiography, because very small difference of detector pixel signals may make severe ring artifacts. This paper presents a novel method to remove ring artifacts in flat-panel detector based micro-CT systems. First, the bad lines of a sinogram which are caused by defective pixels of the detector are identified, and then, they are corrected using a cubic spline interpolation technique. Finally, a ring artifacts free image is reconstructed from the corrected projections. We applied the method to various kinds of objects and found that the image qualities were much improved.
