The polymer electrolyte based on brominated poly(2,6-dimethyl-1,4- phenylene oxide(bPPO) containing 1-methylimidazole was prepared for fuel cells. However, according conditions, bromination degree of the brominated poly(2,6-dimethyl-1,4-phenylene oxide(bPPO) is changed and it caused high cell performance. The ionic conductivity, water uptake, dimensional change and IEC of brominated poly(2,6-dimethyl- 1,4-phenylene oxide(bPPO) membrane is fairly changed depending on pendant containing 1-methylimidazole groups in the membrane. Therefore, discovering the ideal conditions about preparation of bPPO+Im is going to be useful for increasing cells capability and operating fuel cells.
클라리넷과 고정매체재생 작품에 관한 연구: 선택된 작품에 대한 연주자 가이드

이 논문은 클라리넷과 고정매체재생 작품에 관한 것이다. 1990, 2000년대 각각 두가지의 성격이 다른 곡을 선택하였다: Lifelines (1998) by Lawrence Moss and Crack Hammer (2004) by Zack Browning. 두 작품의 접근 방법에 있어서는 작곡자와 직접 소통하여 곡에 대한 정확한 이해와 의도를 전달하였으며 클라리넷 연주자의 입장에서 곡을 연주해 나가며 연주법에 대해 논하였다. 이 논문을 통하여 앞으로 클라리넷과 고정매체재생 작품을 접하려는 다른 클라리넷 연주자들에게 도움이 되었으면 하는 바램과 더 나아가서는 작곡가들의 많은 관심과 더불어 작품수들의 증가와 지속적인 발전이 되었으면 하는 마음이다. This project concerns works for clarinet and fixed media. Following a brief introduction, two representative pieces—one from each decade since the 1990s—are explored: Lifelines (1998) by Lawrence Moss; and Crack Hammer (2004) by Zack Browning. In each case, background information on the composition is provided before the work is analyzed from the perspective of a performer aiming to understand and overcome the challenges that these electroacoustic pieces entail. My work is grounded in communication with the composers of the works being investigated and in my own performance experience of these pieces. I hope that this project will become an especially fruitful and inspiring guide for clarinetists who are exploring these and related electroacoustic works. I also hope to generate interest among composers and encourage the successful composition of more electroacoustic works for clarinet.

The sulfonated poly(2,6-dimethyl-1,4-phenylene oxide(sPPO) membrane was prepared for the unitized regenerative fuel cells (URFCs). However, according conditions, sulfonation degree of the sulfonated poly(2,6- dimethyl-1,4-phenylene oxide(SPPO) is changed and it caused degradation of membrane in the URFCs(United Regenerative Fuel Cells) system. The ionic conductivity, water uptake, dimensional change and IEC of sulfonated poly(2,6-dimethyl-1,4-phenylene oxide(sPPO) membrane is fairly changed depending on sulfonic acid functional groups (SO3H) in the membrane. Therefore, discovering the ideal conditions about preparation of sPPO is going to be useful for increasing cells capability and operating URFCs system.

The membrane based on the sulfonated poly(2,6-dimethyl-1,4-phenylene oxide) (sPPO) was prepared for the URFCs (unitized regenerative fuel cells). Hydrocarbon polymer as poly(2,6-dimethyl-1,4-phenylene oxide) (sPPO) polymer was sulfonated to introduce the ionic conduction site for high proton conductivity and the reason is the proton conductivity and the permeability are important for high performances of URFCs. Sulfonated poly(2,6-dimethyl-1,4-phenylene oxide) (sPPO) membrane has a number of sulfonic acid functional groups (SO3H), therefore it increased the ionic conductivity. This study confirms the sulfonation of poly(2,6-dimethyl-1,4-phenylene oxide and examines character of membranes, water uptake, swelling ratio and ion exchange capacity.
