        장원단이 CT105와 βA로 유도(誘導)된 Alzheimer`s Disease 병태(病態) 모델에 미치는 영향(影響)

        Objective :This research investigates the effect of the JangWon-Dan,(JWD) on Alzheimer`s disease. Method :The effects of the JWN extract on (1) IL-1β, IL-6, and TNF-α mRNA of PC-12 cells treated with LPS; (2) amyloid precursor proteins(APP), acetylcholinesterase(AChE), and glial fibrillary acidic protein(GFAP) mRNA, the AChE activity and the APP production of PC-12 cell treated with CT-105; (3) the behavior; (4) expression of IL-1β, TNF-α, MDA, IL-1β mRNA, and TNF-α mRNA; (5) the infarction area of the hippocampus, and brain tissue injury in Alzheimer`s diseased mice induced with βA were investigated. Result :1. The JWN extract suppressed the expression of IL-1β, IL-6 and TNF-α mRNA in THP-1 cells treated with LPS.2. The JWN extract suppressed the expression of APP, AChE, and GFAP mRNA in PC-12 cells treated with CT-105.3. The JWN extract suppressed the AChE activity, and the production of APP significantly in PC-12 cells treated with CT-105.4. For the JWN extract group a significant inhibitory effect on the memory deficit was shown for the mice with Alzheimer`s disease induced by βA in the Morris water maze experiment, which measured stop-through latency, and distance movement-through latency. 5. The JWN extract suppressed the over-expression of IL-1β protein, TNF-α protein, MDA, IL-1β mRNA, TNF-α mRNA, and CD68/GFAP, in the mice with Alzheimer`s disease induced by βA. 6. The JWN extract reduced the infarction area of hippocampus, and controlled the injury of brain tissue in the mice with Alzheimer`s disease induced by βA. Conclusion : These results suggest that the JWN extract may be effective for the prevention and treatment of Alzheimer`s disease. Investigation into the clinical use of the JWN extract for Alzheimer`s disease is suggested for future research.

        금강유역 비점원에서 발생하는 미생물 오염 및 수질에 대한 영향

        In order to estimate microbial contaminant discharge from diffuse sources, rainfall runoff was monitored at forestry, agriculture and urban watersheds. Total coliform and E. coli were monitored at the study watersheds as they are regulated by the environmental laws. Concentration and EMC (Event Mean Concentration) of coliform of rainfall runoff at the urban watershed were the highest followed by those from agricultural and forestry watersheds. By monitoring coliform concentrations of overlying water and sediment at five monitoring points in the downstream of the Geum River, average concentration from spring to summer was higher than those values from fall to spring. Coliform concentrations in the pore water were higher compared to those of overlying water and closely related with flow rate of the river.

      • 고연성-저항복강을 사용한 복합강재댐퍼의 최적형상 도출을 위한 해석적 연구

        In this study, carbon steel(SS275) and low-yield-point steel(HSA80) were used to develop the CSD(carbon steel damper), the LSD(low-yield-point steel damper), and the HSD(hybrid steel damper). Finite element analysis of the HSD was performed by setting the ratio of the yield strength of the CSD to the yield strength of the LSD to 1, 1.5 and 2, and also by GSD(the general type of the steel damper) with the same yield strength as HSD. Finally, the HSD gave better energy dissipation capability than the general type of the steel damper with the same yield strength. At the yield strength ratio of the LSD was 1.5, it was shown that the HSD gave sequential yield characteristics and higher energy dissipation capacity rather than other types of dampers.

        쿠로시오(黑潮)와 남해안지방 신석기문화

        우리나라는 년중 난류인 쿠로시오의 영향을 받는다. 남해안에는 다수의 패총이 형성되어 있는데 이들의 입지역은 기온의 차이를 보이는 위도와는 관계없이 쿠로시오의 영향이 미치는 정도에 따라서 위치한다. 신석기시대 조·전기에는 쿠로시오의 영향을 강하게 받는 곳에 패총이 위치하며, 이곳에서는 작살과 결합식낚시를 이용하여 참돔, 다랑어, 상어 등과 강치, 돌고래 등을 포획하였다. 더불어서 일본 구주지방의 흑요석, 죠몬토기 등도 출토되어 쿠로시오를 통한 양지역의 교류도 활발히 일어났음을 볼 수 있다. 중기 이후에는 쿠로시오 영향이 덜 미치는 육지쪽에 위치하며 어로도구도 급감하여 어로활동이 쇠퇴하였음을 보여준다. Korea is under influence of warmth of Kurosio Current around the year. There are number of shell-mounds on the southern coast of the peninsula, which are positioned depending on the current and regardless of the latitude. In the early former period of the Neolithic age, the shell-mounds were located at the places under strong influence of the Current where red sea-beam, tuna, shark, sea lion, and dolphin were captured using harpoons and two-piece hooks. Also, obsidianandJomon pottery from Kyushu province have been foundthat it shows vigorous interchanges between the two regions. After the middle period, they were located inlands where the Current gives less influence and it shows fishing activities declined with much fewer fishing tools.

        여서도패총 출토 신석기시대토기에 대한 고찰

        여서도패총에서 출토한 신석기시대 토기는 크게 융기문토기와 영선동식토기로 나뉘는데 여기서 흥미로운 사실을 알 수 있다. 우리나라 신석기시대 토기 편년을 보면 융기문토기는 조기, 영선동식토기는 전기로 편년되는데 이들이 동일 층에서 공반하여 출토되는 것이다. 즉 여서도패총에서 출토된 토기의 구순각목문토기의 비율, 구순부의 형태와 저부, AMS연대를 통하여 보았을 때 패총의 중심 시기는 신석기시대전기라는 것을 알 수 있었다. 이러한 결과로 보아 여서도패총에서 출토한 융기문토기는 영선동식토기의 성립과 함께 전기까지는 공존한 사례를 보여주는 것으로 판단된다. 따라서 이는 문화가 단절되는 것이 아니라 계속 연결되어 간다는 사실을 증명하고 있는 것이다. 그리고 여서도패총에서는 융기문토기에서 영선동식토기로의 변화과정에 대한 새로운 자료와 남해안지역과 제주도지역과의 문화교류루트 규명에 대한 직접적인 자료 및 제주도지역 영선동식토기의 개시를 알 수 있는 간접적인 자료를 제공하고 있다. 앞으로의 연구과제로는 융기문토기와 영선동식토기의 공존현상이 여서도패총에 국한된 것인지 아니면, 다른 유적에서도 적용될 수 있는지에 대한 면밀한 검토가 필요할 것으로 생각된다. This paper is intended to investigate changing process of settlements in the Neolithic period of Korea according to periods and regions after examining spatial arrangement structure in relation to the remarkable characteristic of remain structure focusing on the shape of distribution at that period. I selected 16 remains of settlement in order to certify the structure between the spatial arrangement structure and the position and characteristic structure of the remains. The general area of this study will be restricted to the cast and west coast. southern and central part in South Korea. Research data analyzed that residence and producing spaces were constructed separately in settlements in the Neolithic period in general. The separated arrangements of producing spaces for earthenware that has significant risk of conflagrations were noticeable although the differences of the period and region showed on the common remains. Moreover, it is estimated that small scale settlement places existed with those of large scales in the former period through the process of settlements. With spreading the culture of the Neolithic period from coast region to inland region. the shape of large scale settlement were accepted generally in the middle period. There are, however. dissimilarities in scales and formations of spatial structures and individual residential structures of settlement according to regions. and a few small scale residences and dependant residential structures existed. Even though there were some large settlements during the transition period, the scale of settlements seemed to be reduced gradua lly in the latter period.

        파프리카 분말을 첨가한 저지방 돈육소시지의 이화학적 및 조직특성

        본 연구는 저 아질산염 소시지의 개발을 목적으로 아질산염을 저감하기 위해 파프리카 분말(paprika powder, PP)을 첨가한 저지방 소시지를 제조하여 그 품질 특성을 평가하였다. 제조된 저지방 제품 소시지는 각각 다른 함량의 아질산염과 동결건조 시킨 파프리카 분말(0.05~1%)을 첨가하였다. 파프리카 분말을 첨가하여 제조한 자비 소시지의 이화학적 및 조직성상 결과는 처리구 간에 유의적인 차이가 존재하지 않았다(P>0.05). TRT1(nitrite 37.5 ppm+PP 0.05%)은 참조구(REF)와 명도, 적색도, 황색도 등의 모든 색도에서 유의적으로 차이가 없었다(P>0.05). 파프리카 분말을 첨가한 훈연 소시지의 이화학적 성상 측정 결과는 처리구 간에 유의적인 차이가 없었다(P>0.05). TRT1, TRT2(nitrite 37.5ppm+PP 0.1%)는 명도, 적색도, 황색도 등의 모든 색도에서 REF와 유의적으로 차이가 없었다(P>0.05). 결론적으로 파프리카 분말의 첨가는 저지방 소시지의 색도 증진에 효과적이었으며, 아질산염 37.5 ppm과 파프리카 0.1%를 첨가한 처리구는 아질산염 150 ppm 첨가구와 유사한 결과를 보여 파프리카 분말을 첨가하여 아질산염을 75% 저감하는 저지방 소시지의 최적 조합이었다. This study evaluated the quality characteristics of low-fat pork sausage (LFPS) containing paprika powder (PP) used to partially replace sodium nitrite (NaNO₂). In a model study, LFPSs were prepared with six treatments (REF, 150 ppm NaNO₂; CTL1, 75 ppm NaNO₂; CTL2, 37.5 ppm NaNO₂; TRT1, 37.5 ppm NaNO₂+0.1% PP; TRT2, 37.5 ppm NaNO₂+0.2% PP; TRT3, 37.5 ppm NaNO₂+0.3% PP). In the actual product study, LFPSs were prepared with four treatments (REF, 150 ppm NaNO₂; CTL, 37.5 ppm NaNO₂; TRT1, 37.5 ppm NaNO₂+0.05% PP; TRT2, 37.5 ppm+0.1% PP). The actual product was manufactured using two cooking methods, boiling and smoking, while the model study investigated boiling alone. Physicochemical properties and texture profile analyses were also conducted. In the model study, redness values (a*) of TRT1 and TRT2 did not different from those of REF (P>0.05). However, yellowness values (b*) of TRT2 and TRT3 were higher than those of REF (P<0.05). In the product study, addition of PP into the sausage mixture did not affect the physicochemical and textural properties (P>0.05), and the a* values of TRT1 were similar to those of the REF in boiled sausage (P>0.05). In smoked sausage, redness values of REF, TRT1, and TRT2 were not different (P>0.05). Overall, addition of PP into sausage increased redness, depending on the cooking method. Boiled sausages containing 37.5 ppm NaNO₂ with PP at 0.05 and 0.1% were similar to those containing 150 ppm NaNO₂ (REF), indicating that the partial replacement of NaNO₂ with PP was feasible.
