We have investigated the numerical methods to calculate model atmosphere for the analysis of spectral lines emitted from the sun and stars. Basic equations used in our calculations are radiative transfer, statistical equilibrium and charge-particle conservations. Transfer equation has been solved to get emitting spectral line profile as an initial value problem using Adams-Bashforth-Moulton method with accuracy as high as 12th order. And we have calculated above non linear differential equations simultaneously as a boundary value problem by finite difference method of 3 points approximation through Feautrier elimination scheme. It is found that all computing programs coded by above numerical methods work successfully for our model atmosphere.

We have obtained theoretical calibration curves to convert the amount of polarization into the strength of magnetic field, by a numerical calculation of radiation transfer for the polarized spectral line of FeI $6303{\AA}$. In our calculation, three kinds of atmospheric models (VAL-C, penumbra, umbra) have been used to make a proper calibration for an active region composed of quiet, penumbral and umbral areas. It was found that firstly, the results of our calculation depend highly on a kind of atmospheric model rather than on any other input parameters used in a model. Secondly, observed line profile showed m solar spectrum atlas proved to be very similar to the calculated profiles obtained by using a penumbra model. Finally, another method except this calibration curve should be developed to estimate correctly the distribution of magnetic field in solar active region from the observation of polarized spectral line.

정밀 궤도 계산법

We have carried out high precision orbit calculation, by using various numerical techniques with accuracy of higher than fourth order, in order for exact prediction on position and velocity of celestial bodies and artificial satellites. General second order ordinary differential equation has been solved numerically to test the performance for each of numerical methods. We have compared computed values with exact solution obtained by using universal variables for two body problem and discussed overall results of numerical methods used in our calculation. As a result, it is found that high order difference table method called as Gauss-Jackson method is best one with easiness and efficiency in the increase of accuracy by number of initial values.

교원단체 역할 재정립에 관한 연구

교원단체는 교육분야에서 교원의 이익을 대변하고 교육의 질을 향상시키기 위해 중요한 역할을 해왔음에도 불구하고 그들이 어떤 역할을 해왔는지에 대한 연구는 부진하였다. 이에 본 연구는 교원단체의 정의, 성격, 그리고 일반적 역할을 교원단체 관련 선행 연구를 종합·분석하여, 교원단체의 역할을 기존에 대별되었던 노동직형과 전문직형 이외에 교육의 질 향상, 교육 개혁 등을 책임지는 사회발전형 역할로 확장하여 주요 역할을 제시하였다. Teacher organizations have tried to do their best to protect teachers` rights and benefits and to improve the quality of education since they were first organized. However, even though teacher organizations have done many things for teachers and education, a serious gap still exists between what we think we know about teacher organizations and what we really know. This study tries to narrow the gap by advancing several viewpoints to see the roles of teacher organizations. The roles of teacher organization have been summarized using two segments. First, teacher organizations as institutional actors protect teachers` rights, increase teacher salaries, and help improve working conditions. Second, teacher organizations as professional groups promote the quality of teaching and the acquisition of authorities in the educational field. Recently, a new approach to see the role of teacher organizations differently has been introduced in education. It is called ``Teacher organizations as social justice unionism`` and it has a broader concept than the dual roles of teacher organizations such as the movement for social progress. This definition of this new role gives lots of responsibilities to teacher organizations. This new role encourages teacher organizations to look outwards, to improve the quality of education for students, to focus on educational reform, and to include community for the purpose of developing the quality of education.

학교행정가를 위한 교원노사관계 연수 프로그램의 효과 분석

본 연구의 목적은 학교행정가에게 제공되는 교원노사관계 관련 연수 프로그램의 효과를 분석하고 그 결과를 토대로 향후 발전 방안을 도출하는 데 있다. 문헌분석을 통해 교원노사관계 관련 연수 프로그램 현황을 분석하였고, 연수 프로그램의 효과는 반응(만족 정도), 학습(이해 정도), 행동(현업 적용 정도), 요구(요구 정도)를 기준으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 문헌연구와 설문조사의 결과를 바탕으로 교원노사관계 연수 프로그램 개선을 위한 발전 방안으로 첫째, 현행 연수 과정의 치밀한 분석 및 현장 문제 사례 수집 체제 구축, 둘째, 연수 내용의 현장성 강화, 셋째, 교원노사관계 연수 전문 강사진 육성 필요, 넷째, 연수 방법의 다양화 추구, 다섯째, 현장 방문 연수의 활성화, 여섯째, 연수과정을 통한 인적 네트워크 형성 기능 강화, 일곱째, 교원노사관계 관련 연수 대상 집단의 다변화를 제시하였다. This study was conducted to examine the effectiveness of the training programs for labor-management relationship in school provided for school leaders and suggest strategies to improve the programs in a more practical manner. To this end, the current status of the training programs were analyzed, and a survey was carried out on satisfaction of the training programs and practicality of the knowledge acquired through the programs. Based on the analysis and survey, eight strategies were suggested for more effective implementation and improvement of the programs: establishing a system to thoroughly analyze the current training programs and collect cases or practices entailing problems; enhancing practicality of the programs; nurturing professional instructors for the training programs; diversifying the training tools and materials; expanding on-site training programs; examining the introduction of a competitive system in the training programs; enhancing the networking function of the training programs; diversifying the trainee groups.

교원능력개발평가의 시범운영 효과 분석

본 연구의 목적은 2005년부터 2009년까지 5년간 전국에서 시범적으로 운영된 교원능력개발평가제의 효과를 분석하는 데 있다. 효과 분석은 이 제도가 목표로 제시하고 있는 교원의 전문성 개발과 관련하여 제도적 측면, 실천적 측면, 경험적 측면의 세 차원에서 이루어졌다. 즉, 교원능력개발평가의 목적을 달성하기 위해 평가 방법 및 절차, 평가자, 평가 대상, 결과 활용 등 제도적 측면이 합목적적으로 변화되어 왔는지, 시범학교 운영 결과는 정책적 목적에 부합하고 만족할 만한 성과를 얻었는지, 교원능력개발평가에 참여했던 교원, 학생, 학부모는 교원의 전문성 개발 또는 그 가능성을 경험했는지 등이 이 연구의 주된 분석 대상이었다. 분석 결과, 제도적, 실천적, 그리고 경험적 측면 모두에서 교원능력개발평가제 시범운영은 효과를 얻은 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 시범운영이 아닌 전국 단위에서의 효과와 평가 참여자들의 만족을 얻기 위해서는 교원능력개발평가제에 대한 바른 이해와 교육지원청의 역할 강화, 평가 방법이나 지표 등의 기술적 개선 등이 더 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 결론적으로, 교원능력개발평가제 목적과 방법, 결과 활용 등의 남용 및 혼란을 방지하고 교원의 전문성 신장이라는 본연의 목적을 지속적으로 추구하기 위해서는 법제화를 통한 제도의 안정화가 무엇보다 필요하다. The main purpose of this study is to analyze the effectiveness of Teacher appraisal for professional development that has been implemented since 2005. In order to find out whether the evaluation made a positive influence on promoting teachers` professionalism, as the system was originally intended, the analysis has been conducted in three aspects: systematic aspect as the transforming process of the model, operational aspect as the result of the school operation as a pilot project for the system, and experimental aspect as the experience and expectation of teachers, students and their parents on the system. The result proved that three aspects have been directed toward the direction in which the system contributes to the promotion of teachers` professionalism. But, in order to establish these results to all schools in Korea, the research proposes the legalization of teacher appraisal system, technical modification of teacher appraisal system, building up the roles of office of education in teacher appraisal, cautious selections of in-service training recipients, and accurate understanding of teacher appraisal system.
