Ferricyanide와 ferric chloride 혼합액을 사용한 Bisphenol A의 비색 정량법 개발

Bisphenol A (BPA) has been widely used as a monomer for production of epoxy resins and polycarbonate plastics. The annual production of BPA exceeds 640,000 metric tons in worldwide. BPA, a suspected phenolic endocrine disrupter, is moderately soluble and frequently detected in industrial wastewater. To date, HPLC and GC has been used for BPA analysis. However, HPLC and GC-analysis need high operation lost, experts, and an elaborate pre-treatment of samples, and is difficult to apply on-time and mass analysis. Therefore, simple, mass and rapid detection of BPA in environments is necessary. In the present study, spectrophotometric method of BPA quantification was developed. Based on blue-color product formation with BPA and ferric chloride/ferricyanide under the optimized conditions, the standard curve was acquired $({\lambda}_{750}=0.061\;BPA\;[{\mu}M]+0.07155,\;R^2=0.992)$. Using an established method, the BPA contents in the soil extract, and different water samples and living products, including disposable syringe, cup and plastic tube, were analyzed. The results suggested that the method is useful for BPA determination from different massive samples. Since the BPA metabolites, nontoxic 4-hydroxyacetophenone or 4-hydroxybenzaldehyde, did not form blue-color product, this method is also useful to screen a microorganism for BPA bioremediation. BPA는 플라스틱 가소제 및 폴리카보네이트 플라스틱 생산의 모노머로 광범위하게 사용되어 왔으며, 년간 세계적으로 640,000톤 이상이 생산되고 있다. 내분비장애활성을 가진 BPA는 수계 및 공업용수에서 흔히 발견되며, 이의 분석은 HPLC 및 GC 등 기기분석에 의존하고 있다. 그러나 본 연구에서는 환경 및 생활용품에 잔류하는 BPA를 신속, 정확하고, 경제적으로 분석할 수 있는 분광학적 정량방법을 개발하고자 하였으며, 이를 위해 $FeCl_3{\cdot}6H_2O$와 $K_3Fe(CN)_6$를 사용한 비색정량법을 확립하였다. 발색반응으로 생성된 청색화합물의 ${\lambda}max$ 및 반응특이성을 조사하였으며, 최적반응조건(시간, 온도, pH, 농도, 부피, 반응안전성)을 검토하였다. 확립된 발색반응조건에서 BPA에 대한 검량곡선(${\lambda}_{750}$=0.61 BPA $[{\mu}M]$+0.07155, $R^{2}$=0.992)을 얻었으며, 신규 확립된 비색정량법을 이용하여 토양, 수계 및 생활용품의 BPA 분석을 시도한 결과, HPLC 분석시스템과 유사한 결과를 얻을 수 있었다. 본 BPA 및 관련물질에 대한 비색정량법은, 기기분석에 비해 빠르고, 경제적이며, 대량의 시료를 일시에 취급할 수 있어 기기분석의 보완분석으로도 우수하며, BPA 분해산물은 발색반응을 나타내지 않아, 자연계로부터 BPA 분해균주 선별 등에 매우 유용하게 이용될 수 있다.

The pomegranate (Punica granatum), especially its fruit, possesses a vast ethnomedical history and represents a phytochemical reservoir of heuristic medical value. The tree and fruit can be divided into several anatomical compartments, and the fruit juice, peel and oil are known to be weakly estrogenic and heuristically of interest for treatment of menopausal symptoms and sequellae. In this study, analysis of estrogen in pomegranate extract was carried out with LC/MS/MS. Three batches of pomegranate extract samples were used to analysis the target compounds (estrogen). The contents of estrogen derivatives in the samples were 38.6 ppb of estriol, 83.5 ppb of estrone,and 10.9 ppb of estradiol. This result suggests that the pomegranate extract can used for treatment of menopause symptoms in the woman.

Antifungal Activity of Phenanthrene Derivatives from Aerial Bulbils of Dioscorea batatas Decne

마속 식물들은 오래 전부터 다양한 민간처방에 사용되어 왔으며, 재배마의 근경은 다양한 생리활성물질들이 보고되어, 건강식품으로 인식되고 있다. 재배마의 주아는 매년 2,000톤 이상 생산되고 있으나, 다음해의 종자로 일부 이용될 뿐 거의 폐기되고 있으며, 생리활성에 대한 보고도 거의 없는 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 마의 주아로부터 3종의 phenanthrene 및 2종의 phenanthraquinone를 분리하였으며, 이들의 구조를 규명하였다. 이들 중 6-hydroxy-2,7-dimethoxy-1,4-phenanthraquinone은 처음으로 분리 되었다. 분리된 5종을 대상으로 항균활성을 평가한 결과, 6,7-dihydroxy-2,4-dimethoxyphenanthrene은 Candida albicans에 대해 $25\;{\mu}g/ml$의 MIC와 MFC를 나타내어, 강력한 항균활성으로 실제적 사용 가능성을 나타내었다. 본 연구결과는 phenanthrene 링 구조의 -OH 및 $-OCH_3$ 수식이 항균활성 및 항균 스펙트럼 결정의 중요한 인자임을 제시하였다. Plants of the genus Dioscorea have long been used as oriental folk medicine, and Dioscorea batatas Decne has been cultivated for healthy food in Korea. Although the bulbils were produced 2,000 ton annually, there are few reports for bioactive compounds in bulbils. In this study, three phenanthrenes and two phenanthraquinones were isolated from the aerial bulbils of D. batatas Decne, and their structures were elucidated. Among them, compound 2 (6-hydroxy-2,7-dimethoxy-1,4-phenanthraquinone) has not been reported previously. Evaluation of antimicrobial activities based on disk-diffusion assay, MIC and MFC showed the compound 12 (6,7-dihydroxy-2,4-dimethoxyphenanthrene) has strong antimicrobial activity with $25\;{\mu}g/ml$ of MIC and MFC against Candida albicans. Our results suggested that compound 12 has a potent antifungal activity, and the antimicrobial activity and its spectrum are modulated by hydroxylation and methoxylation of phenanthrene ring moiety of the compound.

According to the analysis of corpus, Chinese frank expression can be used for positive expression, negative expression and zero degree expression. In positive expression, frank expression is used to enhance sincerity. In the negative expression, confession is used to reduce the degree of face threat or prompt threat. In the zero degree expression, the frank expression is used to enhance credibility. In addition, the function of frank expression is intersecting.

산속은 잉태하기를 비는 것에서부터 아기가 태어나 만 일년이 되는 돌까지의 과정에 있는 기원, 금기행사, 의례, 주술 등을 포괄하는 민속을 말한다. 본 연구는 한국 전통사회의 산속이 과도기와 현대를 거치며 어떻게 변화되어 왔는지 살펴봄으로써 산속의 의미를 유아교육적 관점에서 재탐색하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 전통사회, 과도기사회, 현대사회의 산속의 변화 과정을 기자속, 산전속, 산후속, 육아속으로 나누어 고찰하였다. 우리나라 전통사회 산속은 자연의 순리에 순응하면서 매 순간순간 마음을 다하는 방식으로 이루어져왔다. 과도기사회에서는 혼란스러웠던 시대 상황을 반영하여 가정 형편에 따라 다양한 형태의 산속이 행해져왔으나, 전통사회의 산속 문화를 크게 거스르지 않고 있었다. 이에 비해 현대사회의 산속은 과학과 의학기술의 발달로 인한 합리성과 논리성에 대한 강조로 인해 전통사회의 산속은 미신으로 치부되거나 필수가 아닌 선택 사항으로 전락하였다. 이로 인해 산속을 통해 계승되어온 전통사회의 생명존중이나 자녀양육에 대한 정신적 가치마저 단절되고 있는 실정이다. 본 연구를 통해 서양식 교육방법에 치중하고 있는 한국 유아교육에 우리나라 전통 산속의 육아 지혜가 스며들 수 있는 초석이 되기를 기대해본다. Custom of childbirth is Korean traditional custom of childbirth ranging from praying for pregnancy, wishing for the health of a baby till the first birthday party of the baby, taboos, ceremonies, and a charm. This study aimed at finding out the meaning of Korean traditional custom of childbirth by investigating how custom of childbirth has been changed during the modernization process of the traditional society, and making preliminary data to secure the continuity of educating childhood educational institutes and families. In order to achieve these goals, this study took consideration of the changing process of custom of childbirth in the modern society by classifying it into custom of pregnant praying, custom of prenatal caring, custom of puerperium caring, and custom of childcare. Korean traditional custom of childbirth had been practiced appropriately in line with the order of life, following the laws of nature. During the transition period, custom of childbirth had been practiced in various forms reflecting the situation of each family and the chaotic period. However, the practices were not totally different with traditional custom of childbirth. While, traditional custom of childbirth is being discounted as an old wives’ tale or considered as an option rather than a mandate as rationality and logicality become more important thanks to the development of science and medical technology. This made people cut traditional spiritual values like respect for life and child bearing which had been inherited in custom of childbirth. This study would be a corner stone to learn the wisdom of child bearing in Korean traditional custom of childbirth in a situation where too much child-bearing information makes families confused and only the western educational methods are considered as important.
