최근 이메일 서비스의 보완 수단으로서 RSS(Really Simple Syndication)를 이용한 정보 서비스가 활성화되고 있다. 과학기술 분야의 정보는 매우 방대하고 다양하며, 정보의 발생주기 및 서비스 또한 복잡한 특성을 가지고 있다. 단일 정보를 제공하는 기관인 경우 RSS를 이용한 정보 서비스는 정보를 제공하는 하나의 채널을 확보하는 의미에서 구현 시 고려해야 할 요소가 많지 않지만, 다양하고 방대하며 전문적인 과학기술정보의 특성을 반영한 RSS 서비스는 보다 정교한 설계와 구현을 필요로 한다. 본 연구에서는 RSS와 다른 정보배급 프로토콜을 비교하고, 국내외 RSS 동향조사를 수행하였으며, 과학기술정보의 특성을 고려한 RSS 기반 과학기술정보배급 시스템(STI-RSS)의 구현을 고찰하고 이의 활용방안을 제시하고자 한다. Information services adopting RSS(Really Simple Syndication) is on an increase. It is replacing the existing email services. Information in the area of science and technology is of vast amount and various area and their life-cycle and service is complex. Institutions providing information of a single area are not faced with many obstacles in designing information services using RSS in acquiring a channel for the service. However, RSS service in the area of science and technology has to be more specific in designing and implementing the services. In this study, RSS is compared with other information service protocols, domestic and international trends in the area of RSS is analyzed to implement the RSS based Science and Technology information service system(STI-RSS) and its service.

조사ㆍ분석정보와 국가R&D표준정보 수집체계 일원화에 따른 국가R&D정보 수집 체계 개선에 관한 연구

각 부처ㆍ청이 수행한 전년도 국가R&D사업의 현황은 매년 조사ㆍ분석을 통해 추진현황을 파악하고, 관련 정책 및 사업기획의 기초자료로 활용되어 왔으며, 이러한 국가R&D과제정보를 포함한 연구인력, 연구성과 등 총 83개의 조사분석항목에 대한 수집은 년말 조사ㆍ분석 시기에 중앙의 조사ㆍ분석시스템을 통해 수집되어 왔다. NTIS사업 수행을 통해 범부처 차원에서 국가R&D정보의 실시간 현황 파악에 대한 사용자 요구가 증가하고 기존의 관리 및 평가 위주의 조사ㆍ분석정보외에 공동 활용을 위한 수집항목의 확대 요구가 증가함에 따라, 조사ㆍ분석정보와 국가R&D표준정보의 수집체계 일원화와 상시 입력체계로의 전환이 요구되었으며, 국가R&D정보 수집체계의 효율적인 개선 방안이 필요하였다. 본 연구에서는 기존 조사ㆍ분석정보 수집 방식과 각 부처ㆍ청별 대표전문기관으로부터 상시 수집되는 국가R&D표준정보 수집 방식을 설명하고, 수집 채널을 일원화하기 위한 고려사 항 및 167ft 대표전문기관별 기관Legacy 시스템과 국가R&D 표준정보 수집시스템간 효율적인 수집체계 개선 방안을 제시하고자 한다. The national R&D information from the previous year is collected annually for the evaluation and analysis process and is used for policy making and other related purpose. A total of 83 types of information, including the researcher information and the outcome information, was collected through the evaluation and analysis system. The demand for a real-time interaction of the national R&D information has increased with the use of NTIS as well as the need for increase in the number of information collected. The need to centralize the input system has also risen with the use of the system that utilizes the collected information in various other ways than just the information evaluation and analysis. There is an overall need to make the collection process of the national R&D information more effective. In this study, the method for collecting the evaluation and analysis information online is compared with the real-time collection method of the national R&D information before explaining the considerations that need to be made to effectively link the legacy systems owned by the project management institutes with NTIS.

국가 R&D정보 참조연계서비스 시스템 구축에 관한 연구

식별체계를 활용한 참조연계 서비스가 해외는 물론 국내에서도 각 분야에서 본격적으로 활성화되고 있다. 국가 R&D정보는 국가 R&D사업의 과제, 참여인력, 연구개발 결과로 산출되는 성과, 연구 장비 등에 관한 정보이다. 전 부처의 모든 국가 R&D정보에 식별체계를 부여하고 과제와 관련된 성과, 과제의 참여 연구원 정보, 과제와 관련된 장비, 성과와 관련된 인력정보 등 정보간 관련 연계정보를 검색없이 바로 링크해서 볼 수 있도록 하는 참조연계서비스는 연구자들에게 매우 유용하다. 본 논문에서 개발한 식별체계기반의 국가 R&D정보 참조연계서비스 시스템을 통해 국가 R&D정보의 동종 및 이종 정보간 정보연계를 더욱 활성화하는 계기가 될 것이다. Reference linking based on a identification system is being widely used both domestically and overseas. National R&D information contains all information related to the R&D programs such as the output and equipment information resulting from the participant and project information. The reference linking service enables the user to freely look up output of a certain program, participant of a project, equipment information from the project or participant and all other information that originates from a R&D project without having to search for it. The reference linking service in the area of national R&D will enable the linking of heterogeneous information produced at different sources.

학회정보 개인화 지원을 위한 RSS기반 유통 모델 연구

자신의 연구성과를 발표하고 평가받는 학회의 이용자인 연구자는 수시로 발생되는 학회 정보 즉, 논문투고 일정, 학술대회 정보, 학회지 발간 정보, 논문 정보, 공지사항, 최신 연구소식 등 일련의 정보를 얻기 위해서 일일이 학회별 홈페이지를 방문하여 공지사항의 정보를 읽거나 또는 논문지의 최신 정보를 검색하고 조회하는 노력을 필요로 한다.<br/> 이와 반대로, 학술지를 발행하는 학회는 학회에서 수시로 발생하는 최신 정보를 알리기 위해 학회 회원들에게 메일을 보내거나 학회 홈페이지의 게시판에 공지사항을 기재하는 정도로 만족하고 있는 실정이다.<br/> 일반 연구자는 수많은 학회로부터 수시로 발생하는 정보를 한번의 클릭만으로 한눈에 파악할 수 있고, 학회는 한번의 공지를 통해서 학회 정보를 보고자하는 이용자 누구에게나 빠르고 쉽게 전달될 수 있는 체제가 필요한 시점이다.<br/> 본 연구에서는 RSS 서비스 사이트의 국내외 현황을 살펴보고, 개인화 추세에 있는 웹 이용자의 개인적 취향을 맞추기 위한 접근 방법으로서 학회정보 개인화 지원을 위한 RSS기반 유통 모델을 제시하고자 한다. A researcher, who is a member of an academic society, is required to write a report on his or her research and present it at an academic workshop in order to have the contents of the research recognized by others. In order to do that, the researcher frequently has to look up the web pages of each workshop for information such as the submission deadline, paper information, announcements and news. On the other hand, the academic society mostly relies on e-mail or bulletin board to send information about itself to its members to inform its members about its latest news or developments.<br/> A system where 1he researcher can gain all 1he information required through just a single click and the academic society can provide its members with the necessary information through a simple step is required for the ease of both side.<br/> We will take a look at the domestic status of researches being done on such systems where the RSS standard has been applied and suggest a RSS-based dissemination model where the concept of personalization has been applied to satisfy the needs of the individual user.

국가 R&D정보 식별메타데이터에 관한 연구

국가 R&D정보에 필요한 모든 정보를 정보의 소유에 관계없이 범 부처적으로 공동 활용하고자 하는 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 그러나, 국가 R&D정보는 부처별 각 연구관리전문기관별로 별도로 관리하고 있으며 상호 연계를 위한 식별체계의 부재로 인해 유사ㆍ중복과제 검증, 정보의 추적관리 등 통합적인 정보관리가 어려운 실정이다. 전 부처의 국가 R&D정보를 통합 관리하고 공동활용 하기 위해서는 모든 정보에 항구적으로 유일한 URN기반 식별체계의 부여가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 식별체계를 부여하기 위해 필수적인 식별메타데이터의 개념과 각 연구관리전문기관별 국가 R&D 과제관리번호의 현황을 살펴보고, 범부처 과제고유번호 및 정보식별자 부여를 위한 국가 R&D정보의 식별메타데이터 요소를 제안하고자 한다. A need for sharing the R&D information at a national level regardless of the ministry in charge of it is being aroused. However, this information is being managed by different institutes under different ministries without a standard identifier which makes it difficult to manage the information such as to look up duplicate projects. A URN-based identifier is required for the integrated management and utilization of the national R&D information. In this paper, the concept of the identification metadata for applying the identification system and the status of the information management by each institute will be the subject for discussion. Based on this, the elements required for issuing a unique identification number and identifier to the national R&D projects will be suggested in this paper.

최근 RSS(Really Simple Syndication)를 응용한 서비스가 해외는 물론 국내에서도 각 분야에서 다양하고 활발하게 연구되고 있다. 과학기술분야 정보의 RSS서비스는 다양한 정보소스와 서비스 환경에 유연하게 적용할 수 있어야 하며 이러한 특성을 고려한 표준화된 시스템을 필요로 한다. 본 논문에서는 현재 국내외 RSS서비스 사례조사를 통해 RSS 서비스 현황을 분석하고 설계에 반영하였으며, 이를 토대로 과학기술정보의 특성을 고려한 RSS기반 과학기술정보 배급 표준시스템의 구현 방안을 제시하였다. Research on RSS(Really Simple Syndication) based application and services are being deployed both domestically and internationally. The RSS service in the area of science and technology should be flexible to the various sources of information as well as the various platform and environments that they are being serviced. It also requires a standardized system to meet the above needs.<br/> We have analyzed the use of RSS services overseas as well as domestic services to suggest the implementation of standard system for the syndication of science and technology information based on RSS.

최근 RSS(Really Simple Syndication)를 응용한 서비스가 해외는 물론 국내에서도 각 분야에서 다양하고 활발하게 연구 개발되고 있다. 국내외 RSS서비스 현황 및 사례조사를 통해 민간과 공공부문의 RSS 서비스 현황을 분석하고, 과학기술분야 지식정보의 특성을 고려하여 다양한 정보와 환경에 유연하게 대응할 수 있는 과학기술 지식정보 서비스를 위한 RSS기반 정보배급 표준시스템의 설계 방안을 제시하였다.

최근 국내에서 디지털콘텐츠 식별체계의 적용이 활발해지면서 이를 활용한 이용자를 위한 참조연계 서비스의 중요성 또한 증가하고 있다. 해외에서는 전자저널의 기사 원문정보에 식별체계기반 참조연계 서비스를 제공하고 있으나, 국내에서는 식별체계를 이용한 정보간 참조연계 서비스는 구현된 사례가 없는 실정이다. 최근 국가 과학기술 R&D정보에 필요한 모든 정보를 범 부처적으로 공동 활용해야 할 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 국가 R&D정보의 공동 활용을 위한 참조연계의 개념과 국내외 창조연계 서비스 현황을 분석하고, 이를 토대로 국가 R&D 정보의 식별체계 기반 참조연계 방안을 제시하고자 한다. Recently the implementation of digital contents identifier is being deployed domestically. Also, the importance of reference linking services is increasing. Reference linking services about article of electronic journal are provided to user in foreign countries, but there is no example about reference linking services based on identifier in our country. The needs to use cooperatively all information of national R&D information beyond institute are increasing. We have analyzed the use of reference linking services overseas as well as domestic services and suggest method of reference linking among national R&D information based on identifier.
