The present study was conducted to evaluate agronomic characters of the soybean germplasm which was collected from the sites covering whole areas of southern Korea peninsula. The total collection of 2,748 native soybean varieties was grouped as the distribution of the several important agronomic characters and the relationships among the traits were investigated. The soybean germplasm was comprised of Kyonggi-do 7.5% (include Seoul), kangwon-do 13.3%, Chungchongbuk-do 6.6%, Chungchongnam-do 12.3%, Chollabuk-do 0.7%, Chollanamdo 12.6%, Kyongsangbuk-do 20.8%, Kyongsangnam-do 15.3%, Cheju-do 0.6% in number of of coHections. Yield was highly positive correlation to the number of pods per plant, but it was negative correlation to maturity, flowering and plant height. Among the germplasm, 70 lines had high yield potential of 2000 kg/ha which was more high yield than the average of the world accounts of 1,915 kg/ha. Germplasm was also classified as green 21.1% and purple 78.9% in stem color, white 21.6% and purple 78.4% in flower color, tawny 61.3% and gray 38.7% in pubescence color. Pod color was tan 37.3%, black 7.8% and brown 54.9%. Hilum color was black 34.2% yellow 14.2%, brown 49% and green 2.6%, Seed coat color was yellow 39.5%, black 21.7%, brown 14.9%, green 14.5% and other color 9.4%.
