This study is intended to achieve a competitive edge through structural improvement of an automotive company by introducing a synchronized production method and by implementing it to the production information system. To down the cost related to informationㆍmanagementㆍproductionㆍdistribution and products, and to build a system that can supply diverse and good quality products, the synchronized production method is applied to automotive assembly line control (ALC). The synchronized production method is summarized as leveled production, smaller lots, flow production, standardized activity, tact time, etc. Also by applying computer integrated manufacturing technology through synchronized production method, the synchronized production system (SPS) is developed for the ALC system at the assembly shop. The design concept of SPS is explained through the implementation for the automobile bumper production.
