        라틴아메리칸 댄스 경기종목별 운동강도 추정

        The purpose of this study was to predict the intensity of each item in Latin American dances and display the scientific exercise prescription to the dancers for the dance competition. Dance sports players(n=12) were tested with physical fitness test and cardiopulmonary exercise test(Bruce protocol). The heart rate, VO2 max, and energy consumption were measured during the simulated competition(Rumba, Cha Cha Cha, Jave, Samba, Paso Doble). The physical fitness test results showed significant differences. The sit and reach test in woman players was significantly higher than that in man player. Back strength in man players(127.25±16.13) were higher than that in woman players(75.83±11.26). cardiopulmonary exercise test(Bruce protocol) displayed that VO2 max, VE max, HR max, exercise time, and VO2 at VT in man players were significantly higher than those in woman players. In order to get the data of heart rate and relative intensity of exercise during the simulated competition, the heart rate was measured in each competition item. Players got the enough rest time in each item during measuring the heart rate. The heart rate and relative intensity of exercise did not show any significant difference. However, the relative intensities of Cha Cha Cha and Rumba in woman players was higher than those in man players. The relative intensities of Samba and Paso Doble in woman players were higher than those in man players. The relative intensity of Jave showed significant difference between man and woman players. Dance players performed one dance item for 1minutes 30 seconds, got the 10 seconds of rest time and performed next dance item. The recovering heart rate of Rumba at 50 seconds in man players(111.17±11.41) was significantly higher than that in woman players. The heart rate in each item and recovering heart rate did not show any significant differences between man and woman players. No significant difference was found for man and woman players in lactin acid cardiopulmonary exercise test(Bruce protocol). Dance sports is a non-aerobic exercise performed during one minute 30 seconds. However, five items were performed for 9minutes during the simulated competition. Dance sports may be an aerobic exercise as the results of the energy consumption and the heart rate during the simulated competition. Therefore, dance trainers may give the guidance of physical fitness improvement programs throughout the analysis of physical fitness, not only support the adaptation of the dance routine.

        A Micro-Costing Analysis of Flexible Bronchoscopic Intubation in a Korean Tertiary Hospital

        Objectives: To evaluate the per-procedure cost of flexible bronchoscopic intubation in relation to the monetary value of the practice expense relative value units (RVUs) of the procedure. Methods: A micro-costing analysis of flexible bronchoscopic intubation was performed in the anesthesiology and pain medicine department of a Korean tertiary hospital over the fiscal year 2019. Cost records were collected and then categorized into three cost components: depreciation of reusable flexible bronchoscopes and video equipment, reprocessing, and repairs. The per-procedure cost was calculated by dividing the total annual cost by the annual number of flexible bronchoscopic intubations performed. The resulting per-procedure cost was then compared to the monetary value of the practice expense RVUs of the procedure. Considering that the annual procedural volume would significantly impact per-procedure costs and overall profitability, a deterministic sensitivity analysis (DSA) was conducted. Results: In total, 748 flexible bronchoscopic intubations were performed during the fiscal year. Total annual costs for depreciation of the bronchoscopes and video equipment, reprocessing, and repair were US$ 31,921, US$ 22,268, and US$ 22,948 respectively. The calculated per-procedure cost of the flexible bronchoscopic intubation in the period was US$ 103.1 while the fee listed in the fee schedule and the monetary value of the practice expense RVUs of the procedure were US$ 69.9 and US$ 52.2 respectively. Therefore, the procedure was performed at a loss over the period: the amount that the subject department lost with respect to the practice expense RVUs totaled as much as US$ 38,039. The DSA demonstrated that the procedure would remain unprofitable even if twice the volume of procedures were performed over the same duration (n=1,500). Conclusion: The findings suggest that HIRA’s determination of the practice expense RVUs of the procedure may have been underestimated and thus in need of review and recalculation to achieve adequate compensation. The per-procedure cost would vary by procedural volume and site of practice which indicates that a further multicenter study is required to confirm the study’s findings.

        Enhanced Cellular Responses of Vascular Endothelial Cells on Poly-γ-Glutamic Acid/PU Composite Film Treated with Microwave-Induced Plasma at Atmospheric Pressure

        Poly-γ-glutamic acid (γ-PGA), which is produced by microbial fermentation, is a biodegradable, hydrophilic and non-toxic biomaterial. γ-PGA has many carboxyl groups that makes it a polyanionic biopolymer with swelling ability, biocompatibility and anticoagulant activity. On the other hand, few studies have examined the effect of γ-PGA on the cellular activity of human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs). The present study evaluated the effects of γ-PGA and fabricated γ-PGA/PU composite films on the attachment and proliferation of HUVECs after treatment with microwave plasma at atmospheric pressure. The results confirmed that γ-PGA is capable of increasing the proliferation and differentiation of HUVECs to form capillary tubes with enhanced alignment and organization. Moreover, the microwave plasma modified γ-PGA/PU composite film was more hydrophilic and the surface roughness was enhanced. In addition, the attachment and proliferation of the HUVECs were increased by the plasma treatment. These results suggest that γ-PGA and surface modified γ-PGA/PU composite can be applied as bioactive and biocompatible materials in vascular tissue engineering but further testing of γ-PGA and γ-PGA/PU composite films will be needed to confirm the potential effects for use in vascular applications.

        Nitrogen Grafting onto Polycarprolactone by a Simple Surface Modification with Atmospheric Pressure Glow Discharge (Ar-APGD) and Promoted Neonatal Human Fibroblast Growth

        Plasma surface modifications of polymer scaffolds using biomolecules such as oxygen, nitrogen, and other active grafting molecules have been studied to enhance biological responses such as cell attachment, spreading,and proliferation. According to the reports, nitrogen grafting requires corrosive or mixture gas environment, or post treatment. This study aimed to evaluate a simple atmospheric pressure plasma surface modification in order to graft nitrogen derivatives and to promote biological responses. In this study, a polycarprolactone (PCL) film was modified within 10 min by argon atmospheric pressure discharge (Ar-APGD). Excited argon atoms, nitrogen atoms,oxygen atoms, and hydroxyl functional groups were observed from the optical emission spectra of the discharge. Decreased carbonyl functional groups and ether functional groups were observed; notably, immobilized nitrogen was observed on the PCL surface after the Ar-APGD treatment. Promoted neonatal Human Dermal Fibroblast (nHDF) growth patterns were observed on the Ar-APGD-treated surface.

        Effects of direct current electric-field using ITO plate on breast cancer cell migration

        Background: Cell migration is an essential activity of the cells in various biological phenomena. The evidence that electrotaxis plays important roles in many physiological phenomena is accumulating. In electrotaxis, cells move with a directional tendency toward the anode or cathode under direct-current electric fields. Indium tin oxide, commonly referred to as ITO has high luminous transmittance, high infrared reflectance, good electrical conductivity, excellent substrate adherence, hardness and chemical inertness and hence, have been widely and intensively studied for many years. Because of these properties of ITO films, the electrotaxis using ITO plate was evaluated. Results: Under the 0 V/cm condition, MDA-MB-231 migrated randomly in all directions. When 1 V/cm of dc EF was applied, cells moved toward anode. The y forward migration index was -0.046 ± 0.357 under the 0 V/cm and was 0.273 ± 0.231 under direct-current electric field of 1 V/cm. However, the migration speed of breast cancer cell was not affected by direct-current electric field using ITO plate. Conclusions: In this study, we designed a new electrotaxis system using an ITO coated glass and observed the migration of MDA-MB-231 on direct current electric-field of the ITO glass.

      • ISO13485:2016 및 GMP 제도 도입에 따른 국내 의료기기 업체 인식조사를 통한 교육프로그램 개발 연구

        의료기기 GMP(Good Manufacturing Practice) 제도는 의료기기의 설계·개발, 생산, 시판 후 관리 등 전 과정에 대한 품질경영시스템의 확보를 통해 안전(safe)하고, 유효(effective)하며, 의도된 용도(intended use)에 적합한 품질의 제품을 일관성 있게(consistently) 제조ㆍ판매됨을 보장할 수 있는 최소한의 요구조건을 말한다. 이러한 GMP제도는 의료기기 품질관리 국제기준인 ISO(International Organization for Standard)13485를 반영하여 운영된다. ISO 13485는 국가 간에 통용되는 의료기기의 품질경영시스템에 관한 국제규격으로 본 규격은 2016년 3월 1일 개정된 ISO13485:2016(3판)이 발표됨에 이어 2019년 3월 1일에 개정된 버전이 시행되었다. 기존의 ISO13485:2003(2판) 대비 주요하게 개정된 사항으로는 제조과정에서 위험기반 관리, 의료기기 사용적합성 요구, 의료기기표준코드 (UDI) 부착, 소프트웨어 밸리데이션 등이 있다. 국내 GMP의 경우 식품의약품안전처에서 ‘의료기기 제조 및 품질관리기준’의 고시에 근거하여 운영되고 있으며 현재는 ISO13485:2016을 근간으로 고시가 개정되어 국내 업체들은 개정된 고시의 내용에 따라 문서를 개정하고 품질 경영시스템을 이행하고 있다. 이에 국내 업체들을 대상으로 개정된 GMP 제도를 수행하면서 겪는 문제점 및 애로사항에 대한 설문조사를 진행하고 분석한 내용을 바탕으로 GMP 교육프로그램을 구성하였다. 본 연구를 통해 최신 의료기기 품질관리국제기준(ISO13485:2016)이 반영되어 개정된 국내 GMP 제도에 대한 교육을 국내 의료기기 업체들을 대상으로 진행함으로써 업체의 품질관리 능력향상을 유도하고자 하였다. 뿐만 아니라 국내 의료기기의 국제 조화를 통한 수출 경쟁력 확보 및 의료기기 업체의 안전성 및 성능이 확보된 국산 의료기기 제조 환경 구축에 따른 의료기기 품질의 전반적인 발전에 기여할 것으로 기대된다.

        Stimulated Migration and Penetration of Vascular Endothelial Cells Into Poly (L-lactic acid) Scaffolds Under Flow Conditions

        Background: The initial procedure of the development of engineered tissues is cell seeding into three-dimensional polymer scaffolds. However, it is hard to make the cells invade into scaffold due to the characteristic of pore and material. Electrospun poly (L-lactic acid) scaffold and flow perfusion system were used to overcome these seeding problems. Materials and Methods: Before starting the experiment, we set up the parallel plate chamber system to observe endothelial cell migration under flow condition. In individual cell migration model, human umbilical endothelial cells started to migrate in the direction of flow at 8 dyne/cm2 and we observed the cytoskeleton alignment at 8 dyne/cm2. Results: This study has demonstrated the possibility to evaluate and analyze cell migration using the parallel plate chamber system and we may predict in vivo cell migration under flow condition based on these results. Also the flow perfusion system was established for the effective cell seeding into at three dimensional scaffolds. Moreover, shear stress induced by flow can enhance cell migration into PLLA scaffold that is in the form of cotton. Conclusions: Result indicated that cell penetration was achieved under flow condition better and more than under static condition throughout the matrix.

        국내 의료기기 제조업체의 ISO13485:2016 교육 프로그램 개발 및 교육 효과 연구

        Purpose: As ISO 13485 was revised in 2016, the domestic GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) system was also revised and implemented in 2019. However, there are many problems in the domestic medical device industry because most of the small and medium-sized enterprises lack human and material resources. Accordingly, this study was conducted to provide education programs for domestic medical device companies to induce information provision and improve the company's quality management ability. Methods: First, analyze existing education. Second, based on the revised GMP system, a survey paper was produced to investigate difficulties and problems experienced by companies. Third, a two-week survey was conducted on domestic medical device manufacturers, and a total of 77 companies responded to this survey. Fourth, educational program development was conducted based on the results of the survey. Results and Conclusion: The developed education program consists of a total of five sessions. In this study, the educational program developed by grasping the needs of the company through a survey consists of a total of five sessions. The first session consisted of theoretical education and the second to fifth sessions of practical education. Through the education program developed in this study, it is expected to contribute to the overall development of medical device quality by establishing a domestic medical device manufacturing environment that secures the safety and performance of domestic medical device companies.
