The purpose of this study is to explore the major areas of education for personality of Christian universities and to suggest alternatives. The information society has been bringing enormous changes to our life and educational situation. Alienation among people and deterioration of the personal community caused by the information society has made education in personality a main issue on campuses these days. Globalization brought about by the information society has kept even Christian universities from providing students the best education because professors are under heavy pressure which has them moving from education to research. Myongji University has rediscovered meaningful opportunities in education for personality in three major areas, that is; chapel services, Christian studies as required or elective general education courses, and religious activities through clubs or associations of Christian students, staff and faculty. Chapel services and activating religious activities have been helpful for increasing education. The office of the university chaplain has introduced various forms of chapel services which include concerts, musicals, dramas, praise and worship, lectures, movies, English-services, etc. Especially, maundy and concerts of love for students regularly held by staff and faculty in the chapel have been transforming chapel services into a place of worship and sharing. Activating religious activities through clubs or associations of Christian students, staff and faculty helps achieve the traditional ideal of making the Christian faith live in every phase of campus life.
