      • 토마토 오이의 裁培에 NOSAKUBi(EVA Film)被覆이 生育에 미치는 影響

        1) 오이에 있어서 NOSAKUBi區가 草長과 葉數에서 50%以上 높았고 ?花 着生數 ?花 着生 節位 側枝 發生等이 若干 많았다. 2) NOSAKUBi區가 Polyethylene區에 比하여 生체重 乾物重은 約2倍로 上廻하였다. 3) NOSAKUBi區는 初期收量이 월등하게 놓았고 全체數量과 平均果重도 많았다. 4) 토마토에 있어서 NOSAKUBi區는 草長과 葉數에서 조금 놓았고 第1花房의 開花時期가 7日 빨랐으며 着果率이 90%以上이나 높았다. 5) NOSAKUBi區의 生체重 乾物重이 약간 上廻하였고 收量에서 早期收量뿐 아니라 全收量 및 良果率도 높았다. Comparing NOSAKUBi Zone with Polythylene Zone, the following result were obtained. A. Cucumbers 1. In NOSAKUBi Zone, 50% increased in plant length and number of Lea ves; higher in numbers of pistillate flowers, nodes where pistillate flowers were grown, and branches. 2. The weight of Cucumbers of NOSAKUBi Zone both fresh and dried was approximately twice as great as that of the Cucumbers grown in Polyethylene Zone. 3. The quantity of the harvest of the early period was much greater, and also greater has the quantity of total harvest and average Cucumber weight in NOSAKUBi Zone. B. Tomatoes 1. A little higher are the plant length and number of leaves, and the blossoming season of Firstcluster was 7 days earlier, and the percentage of Fruitbearing was higherly 90% or more than in NOSAKUBu Zone. 2. The weight of tomatoes both fresch and dried was a little greater, more harvest was effected not only in the early harvest period but also throughout the entire harvest period, and the percentage of bearing good fruits was also higher in NOSAKUBi Zone.

      • 砂裁培用 調製液肥와 水耕用 Lago 培養液이 상치의 生育에 미치는 影響

        水耕液과 一般肥料로된 調製液肥가 상치의 栽培에 比較試驗한 結果 調製液肥로서 상치의 栽培가 可能하였고 水耕液보다도 越等하게 좋은 成績을 나타내었다. 1. 生育調査結果 草長에서 標準區 D에 比하여 C區는 53.4% A區는 65.0% B區는 67.9% 길었으며 葉幅에서도, 標準區 D에 比하여 C區는 65.0% A區는 81.6% B區sms 85.0%가 넓었다. 2. 結球重量은 標準區 D에 比하여 處理區인 A B C區 다같이 1% 水準의 高度의 有意性을 보였다. The result of Comparative test in growing Lettuce Showed : Liquid of Chemical Fertilizer was more effective than the Hydro-ponics Solution. 1. In the examination of Growth, length of the leaves turnd out to be longer 53.4% in plotC, 65.0%in plot A, 67.9% in plot B, than that of the Standard plot D, and the width of leaves, 65.0% wider in plot C, 81.6% in plot A, 85.0% in plot B, than that of the Standard D. 2. plots A,B,C, proved "1% higher Level Significant" than that of the Standard D, in the weight of the Leaves ball.

        二十日무우의 端境期栽培 可能性 與否와 또 二十日무우와 導入種 몇 品種의 栽培 比較 試驗에서 다음 몇가지의 成績을 얻었다. 1. Table3 : 二十日무우는 適期栽培보다 草長, 根長이 若干 떨어지나 盛夏蔬菜 品貴時의 端境期栽培로서는 栽培 價値가 있겠다. 2. Table4. 5 : 二十日무우와 Burpee White' French Break Fast를 根重 葉重 收量에서 比較한 結果 品種間의 有意性이 없으므로 Burpee White' French Break Fast는 二十日무우와 別差없이 端境期 栽培 品種으로서 可能性이 있다고 본다. From an experimental growing of the Early Deep Scarlet Radish during the unproductvc summer season, and a comparison in productivity between the Early Deep Scarlet Radish and some imported varieties the following results are known; 1) Table3. Even though the Early Deep Scarlet Radish cultivated during the unproductive summer season is a little inferior in the length of its leaf and root to that raised during the proper season it is worth raising during the unproductivesea son to meet the demands when vegetables are scarce. 2) Table4. 5. Theccmparison of the Early Deep Scarlet Radish, Burpee White, and French Break fast in their weights of their leaves, roots, and harvest has indicated that there is not significant difference between the species. So, Burpee White and French Break Fast, as well as the Early Deep Scarlet Radish, may be profitably cultivated durng the unproductive interval summer season.

        As a result of the Test conducted to studs the exact training and topping method on the PRINCE MELON, I have obtained some data. The following is the summing-up of those results : 1. In the length & diameter of the fruit, the topped item with one leaf left from the sub-main branch, which was out of the topping,20 nodes of the main branch, has been the highest. And there was a positive correlation between the length and the diameter of the fruit. 2. The minute spots in the fruit have been revealed to be the minimum in the topped item with one leaf left from the sub-main branch, which had been out of the topping, 20 nodes of the main branch. 3. The amount of sugar contained in it was 15%, which was the highest for the topped item with six leaves left from the sub-main branch, which had been out of the topping, 20 nodes of the main branch. 4. In the cracked fruit, the topped item with one leaf left from the sub-main branch, which had been out of the topping,8 nodes of the main branch, was higher in number. The size of the hilum had nothing to do with the training method. 5. The average weight of the fruit indicated that there was a significant difference of 5% level, as compared with the topped item with 3 leaves left from the sub-main branch which had been out of the topping,20 nodes of the main branch. 6. The topped item with 6 leaves left from the sub-main branch, which had been out of the topping, 8 nodes of the main branch, was a little bit higher in the total amount of the quantity.

      • 礫耕栽培를 利用한 잎상치의 栽植距離에 관한 硏究

        Studies on Lettuce planting intervals by Gravel culture ; This study was conducted to find out exact planting intervals which could raise merchandise value and abundant yield of Lettuce cultivation and results were indicated as follows; 1. Significant difference was not revealed in the terms of Leaf Lenght, width and number of Leaves. positive correlation was found in the terms of Leaf Length and width while significant diffrence was not recognized. 2. Significnt difference was not admitted in the terms of average weight of Leaves, but the area 30cm ×30cm in the weight of dry matter was the Lowest. 3. There were some significant differences in inter ridige, but the areas of 10cm ×30cm, 15cm ×30cm and 10cm ×25cm of inter stock were shown the highly significant differences, while some significant differences in the areas of 20cm ×30cm and 10cm ×20cm was admitted.

      • Ethephon과 Gibbrellin 處理가 오이의 性發現과 이에 따른 蛋白質含量, Peroxidase活性 및 Isoperoxidase Pattern에 미치는 影響

        This experiment was conducted to study sex expression and subsequent changes in protein and peroxidase after three cultivars of cucumber plants were treated with ethephon and gibberellin. The three cultivars of cucumber used in this study included 'Sayeup' (monoecious type), 'Sinrokdadaki' (gynoecious type), and 'Seonghowon' (intermediate type). The ethephon at 250ppm and gibberellin at 100 ppm were treated at the 2-leaf and 4-leaf stages, and subsequent sex expression and changes in protein contents, peroxidase activities and isoperoxidase banding patterns by disc polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis were studied. The results can be summarized as follows: 1. Ethephon treatment slightly increased number of pistillate flowers and significantly decreased number of staminate flowers in the three cultivars, while gibberellin treatment significantly increased number of staminate flowers in both gynoecious 'Sinrokdadaki' and intermediate 'Seonghowon' and did not increase number of staminate flowers in monecious 'Sayeup' 2. There were some differences among three cultivars in protein contents, protein banding and isoperoxidase banding patterns of seeds and germinating seeds, However, it was not obvious to differentiate monoecious from gynoecious cultlvars by these characters. 3. Protein contents in the leaves and stem apex after ethephon and gibberellin treatment increased gradually at the 2-leaf stage, but decreased at the 4-leaf stage. Protein contents in stern apex at the 4-leaf stage without treatment were much higher in 'Sinrokdadaki' and `Seonghowon' than in monoecious 'Sayeup'. Protein contents in the stem apex at the 4-leaf stage were increased in the ethephon-treated monoecious 'Sayeup' and decreased in 'Sinrokdadaki' and 'Seonghowon' compared with untreated plants. 4. Peroxidase activities in the leaves and stem apex gradually decreased at the 2-leaf stage, but increased at the 4-leaf stage. Peroxidase activities in stem apex at the 4-leaf stage were significantly increased by ethephon treatment. 5. The number of protein bands in the three cuitivars after treatment gradually decreased in leaves and stem apex at the 2-leaf stage, but increased in the 4-leaf stage. The protein banding pat terns of stern apex of the ethephon- treated monoecious ' Sayeup' at the 4- leaf stage were gradually shifted to the banding

      • 土壤栽培에 있어서 질소 및 칼리의 施肥水準이 오이의 生育, 收量 및 無機成分吸收에 미치는 影響

        Cucumbers were grown at 5 levels of Potassium and Nitrogen to stuudy the effect of N,k concentration on growth, yield and content of mineral elements. 1. Growth and yields were increased in N treatment with 16g per plant, and wrer increase in K treatment with 16me per liter. 2. The content of mineral elements of in leaves were higher N teatment than K treatment in content of T-N and Mg, and content of P was high in K treatment. 3. The content of mineral of petiole, fruit and Xyleme sap. were detected. The content in Xyleme sap, was most in N treatment all content expect of NO₃-N. NO₃-N and K were contented a lot in petiole Ca was contented a little in fruit. In K treatment, No-N and K were contented a lot in petiole, and the others were contented in Xyleme sap. Ca was contented a little in fruit. 4. The content of mineral in soil was detected in N and K treatment content of mineral was a little after than before treatment P while in case of P content was higher before treatment 5. absorption of water in cucumber plants was increased in N treatment with 8g per plants, while decreased in the K treatment 8 me per plant. The contents of chlorophyll was increased as the levels of Nitrogen was increased in N treatment, however, decreased on young leave as the level of Poassium was incresed in K treatment.

      • 오이의 品種 및 臺木의 種類에 따른 溢泌量, 無機成分 및 植物호르몬의 含量

        臺木의 種類 및 오이品種의 溢泌現象 및 無機成分과 식물 hormone 含量에 關하여 硏究하엿던 바 그 主要結果는 다음과 같이 要約될 수 있다. 1. 溢泌液의 量 및 經時的인 變化를 보면 接木오이가 自根오이보다 顯著히 높아 臺木의 效果가 뚜렷하였으며 自根苗에서는 四葉오이가, 接木苗에서는 四葉오이를 黑種호박에 接木한 苗에서 增加되었다. 經時的인 變化는 接木, 自根 共히 最初의 1時間 採取時에 가장 많았고 時間이 經過함에 따라 低下하였다. 2 .溢泌液內의 無機物含量은 수세미와 黑種호박에서 K, Ca, Mg含量이 높았고 만춘청장마디오이와 四葉오이는 接木에 依해 K와 Ca의 含量이 增加되었으나, 溢泌液內의 無機物의 含量과 臺木의 生育促進效果와는 特定한 關係가 있다고는 判斷되지 않는다. 3. 溢泌液으로부터 Cytokinine과 Gibberellin을 抽出할 수 있었는데 Bioassays에 依해 檢出된 Gibberellin含量은 臺木의 接穗促進效果와도 關係가 있을 것으로 推定되었으나 Cytokinine含量에서는 特定한 傾向을 찾아볼 수 없었다 Studies were conducted to investigate the xylem sap exudation phenomena, mineral element contents and endogenous plant hormones in cucumber cultivars and different rootstocks. The major results can be summarized as follows. 1. The amount of xylem sap exudated from the basal cut stem were significantly influenced by cucumber cultivars and kind of rootstock. Among the tested cucumber cultivars, ‘Sayeup’ showed the largest amount of xylem sap. ‘Heukzong’ rootstock also showed the largest amount of xylem sap among the tested rootstocks. The amount of xylem sap exudation was largest in the first hour of cut and gradually decreased with time after cutting. 2. The contents of K, Ca and Mg were higher in the xylem sap of ‘Susemi’ and ‘Heukzong’ rootstocks contents of K and Ca in ‘Manchoon Chungjang-madi’ and ‘Sayeup’ Cucumber were also increased by grafting. The contents of mineral elements in xylem sap of rootstocks could not be correlated with the growth promotion effect of the rootstocks. 3. Contents of gibberellin-like substance in xylem sap of rootstocks seemed to have some relationship on its growth promotive effect of the scion by rootstocks. Cytokinins were also extracted but their role in scion growth is yet to be clarified.

      • 오이의 性發現에 미치는 Ethephon과 Gibberellin의 自葉期 處理 效果

        오이는 性發現에 관한 基礎資料를 얻고져 飛節成種인 四葉과 節成種인 신록다다기, 그 中間形인 聖護院을 공사하여 種子와 崔芽종자의 蛋白質含量의 品種간 차이와 子葉展開期의 ethephon(250ppm)과 Gibberellin(100ppm)處理에 의한 蛋白質 含量과 peroxidase活性의 變化, 蛋白質 banding pattern 및 perosidase isoenzyme의 banding pteern의 變化 關係를 調査하여 다음과 같은 結果를 얻었다. 1) 種子와 崔牙種子인 蛋白質含量, 蛋白質 banding pattern 및 peroxidase의 banding pattern에서 飛節成과 節成品種간에 뚜렷한 차이를 볼 수 없었다. 2) 子葉期의 蛋白質 含量과 蛋白質 banding pattern에서는 3品種 모두 ethephon處理區에서 蛋白質含量이 높았고, 蛋白質 banding pattern에서는 處理 後 日數가 지남에 따라 變異를 보이다가 處理後 5日째 四葉의 ethephon 處理區의 Rf 0.33-0.34의 位置에 强度높은 band가 形成되었으며, 聖護院, 신록다다기의 無處理區에서 形成된 band의 位置와 强度가 同一하였다. 3) 子葉期의 peroxidase 活性 및 peroxidase banding pattern에서는 ethephon處理區에서 3品種 모두 peroxidase activity가 높게 나타났으며, ethephon 處理後 1일째는 3品種 모두 거의 같은 band의 樣相을 나타내었고, 處理 後 3일째는 變化의 樣相을 보이다가 處理後 5일째는 四葉의 ethephon 處理區와 聖護院, 신록다다기의 control區가 거의 같은 banding pattern을 나타내었다. This experiment was conducted to obtain the basic information the patterns of change in protein contents, peroxidase activity and of sex expression between three cucumber varieties(monoecious type;Sayeupl gynoecious type; Sinrokdadaki, intermediate type; Seonghowon) by treating ethephon with 250ppm and gibberellin with 100ppm at the maturing stage of their cotyledons. The patterns of changes in protein contents and peroxidase activity were analyzed using disk polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis and the results are summarized as follows. 1. No difference was found in changes of the protein contents, band pattern of peroxidase and iso peroxidase activities between mature seeds and germinating seeds of Sayeup(monoecious type) and Sinrokdadaki(gynoecious type). 2. High protein contents were obtained in cotyledons of all varieties treated with ethephon, and a variety of band patterns of protein isolated were shown on the gel during the initial stages after ethephon treatment. After 5 days of ethephon treatment, however, a strong band was observed at the Rf value of 0.33-0.34 on the gel analyzed from the proteins isolated from Sayeup cotyledons with etyephon treatment and the band intensity of their proteins was similar to ones from Seonghowonand Sinrokdadaki with no ethephon treatment. 3. As a result of gel analysis, high activity and strong band of peroxidase isolated from ethephon treated carieties was examined. Similar band patterns of proteins isolated were observed in the cotyledons of all carieties used after one day of ethephon treatment. After 3 days of ethephon treatment, all varieties showed various band patterns, while after 5 days, the band pattern of proteins isolated from ethephon treated Sayeup similar one of proteins from both Seonghowon and Sinrokdadaki with no ethephon.
