비접촉 3차원 형상측정에 의한 자유곡면의 가공에 관한 연구

This study deals with the development of a machining system, which allows the production of workpieces with sculptured surfaces using B-spline function by the 3D measurement data. The hardware of the system comprises PC and non-contact digitizing machine, machining center. There are three steps, (1) physical model measuring on the 3D laser digitizing machine, (2) B-spline surface modeling and smoothing, (3) NC machining by the DNC system. This system is developed as a software package, with which can conduct a micro CAM system in the PC without economical burden.

The purpose of this study is to develop a machining system onto the 3D measured point data, which can machine the mold and die with compound surface. The hardware of the system comprises PC and non-contact digitizing system, machining center. The procedure is as follows: (1) A physical model is measured on the 3D laser digitizing machine and decomposed into some surface elements. (2) A compound surface is modeled on the shape data of the analytic surface and sculptured surface. (3) A cutter paths is generated by the offset surface method. (4) NC machining is performed by the DNC system. This system is developed as a software package, with which can conduct a micro CAM system in the PC without economical burden.

The purpose of this study is the development of CAM system which can machine and measure any shape by CNC lathe. The overall goal of the CAM system is to achieve the CNC lathe machining, from roughing through to final measuring, The hardware of the system comprises PC, CNC lathe and measuring tools. 111ere are three steps in the CNC lathe machining and measuring, (1) geometric modeling by the shape patterns, (2) NC commands generation by the tool path compensated for tool nose radius, (3) machining and workpiece measuring on the lathe. It is developed a software package, with which we can conduct a micro CAM system in the PC without economical burden.<br/>
