동시 수렴법 (simultaneous solution method)에 의한 공정모사를 이용하여 공정제어 구조 합성의 핵심적인 수치인 정상상태 이득을 합리적으로 구하는 방법을 제시하였다. 공정 설계조건을 만족하는 해를 구한 후, 해를 구하는 과정에서 계산된 역 Jacobian 행렬의 부분 행렬로부터 정확한 정상상태 이득을 구할 수 있었으며, 이를 이용한 방법이 많은 반복 계산을 통하여 정상상태 이득을 구하는 기존의 단계적 계산방법보다 효율적임을 알 수 있었다. 간단한 이성분계 증류탑에 이 방법을 적용하여 유용성을 알아보았으며 탄상농도와 탑저농도에 따른 가능한 제어 구조를 조사하였다. A powerful technique using the simultaneous solution method is proposed to calculate the steady state gain which is quite essential to the synthesis of process control structure. After calculation of the solution of variables in process design, the steady state gain can be calculated accurately from the partial matrix of the inverse Jacobian matrix which is available for the solution. This technique is more efficient than the technique employing the conventional sequential modular approach which requires repetitive calculations to obtain the steady state gain. This method was applied to a typical binary distillation column to illustrate its usefulness in finding the feasible control structures for the top and bottom concentration control.
자발 호흡을 유지하는 정상 성인에서 수동적 하지 거상법 시행 후 혈역학적 변화와 맥박 산소 측정기를 이용한 혈량 파형의 진폭 변이도 조사

Background: In hemodynamically unstable patients with spontaneous breathing activity, predicting volume responsivenss is a difficult challenge. Our objective was to test whether the respiratory changes in pulse oxymetry plethysmographic waveform amplitude (POP) and in stroke volume (ΔSV) could predict fluid responsiveness to passive leg raising (PLR) in normal volunteers. Methods: We investigated 25 normal volunteers. We assessed hemodynamic status (HR, SBP, MAP, CI and SVI) and calculated the respiratory variation in pulse oximetry plethysmographic waveform amplitude at supine and after PLR. We attached a pulse oximeter of 25 spontaneously breathing volunteers as several time points: after 1 min and 5 min in supine position and during PLR at 60o. Heart rate, non-invasive blood pressures (mean arterial pressure, systolic blood pressure), maximal POP (POPmax), minimal POP (POPmin) and ΔPOP defined as (POPmax−POPmin)/[(POPmax+POPmin)/2] were recorded using monitor. Results: Comparing to supine and PLR, systolic blood pressure and mean arterial pressure were not different, but the change in cardiac index, stroke volume and respiratory variation in POP were significant different. In response group (≥10% in ΔCI), the change in cardiac index, stroke volume and respiratory variation in POP were significant greater. Conclusions: PLR induces a significant decrement of variation in POP amplitude among spontaneouely breathing volunteers. We suppose that the changes in stroke volume and the respiratory variation in pulse oximetry plethysmographic waveform amplitude induced by PLR predict fluid responsiveness in spontaneous breathing patients.

A criterion is developed for the selection of the best pairing of the controlled and manipulated variables and for the interaction analysis of decentralized multi-input multi-output control systems. This criterion is based on the difficulty caused by the interaction terms in finding the inverse of the block steady gain matrix. A quantitative measure of the best pairing obtained from the resemblance of a set of independent block multi-loop systems. Several examples show the validity of the pairing criterion.

A criterion was developed for the analysis of the disturbance effects on the control structure using steady state gain for disturbances. Based upon suggested criterion derived from the relative relation of implicit function, the control structure which was easy to eliminate of the disturbance effect could be determined. This criterion was applied to the example to illustrate its validity in finding the feasible control structure.
