The class conflict between gentry and plebs was a acute society contradiction that was brought by the politics of a family of power and influence in Wei and jin Dynasties. It was more extrusive after Jin Dynasty. However, this conflict began to get de-escalatory after Song Dynasty. The cause of this phenomena were many and various and Buddhist dissemination was a all important causation. Buddhism is a foreign culture and had prevailed among gentry groups since East Jin Dynasty. Therefore, Buddhist dissemination influenced on culture mentality of gentry profoundly after Jin Dynasty and stroked effectively the class contradiction between gentry and plebs from Jin and Song Dynasties. The impact and elimination of Buddhist dissemination on the class conflict between gentry and plebs in Song and Qi Dynasties involves two aspects. The one is Buddhism take in believers coequally. Then the believers were coequal and gentry and plebes coexist in many believer communities. The other one is many hierarchs were plebes. Just about these hierarchs were made after by gentry. This culture environment played a important role in eliminating the class conflict so as to get along between gentry and plebes in Yongming period.
