본 연구는 박지원의 『열하일기』에 재현된 패루에 대한 역사문화지리적 의미를 고찰하였으며, 그 결과를 정리하면 다음과 같다. 먼저, 박지원은 1780년 청나라 번성기에 압록강을 건너 열하까지 오가면서, 일반 민가의 상갓집 백색 패루, 정교하고 웅장한 석방 패루, 황실에서 추증한 공로 패루, 황실의 권위를 상징하는 화려한 유리 패루 등 다양한 장소에 위치했던 중국의 전통 패루를 경험하고 관찰하였다. 둘째, 패방이라고도 불리는 전통 패루는 황가궁전, 종교 사원, 능묘, 사당, 관아, 교량, 원림 등의 입구와 성곽도시의 중심도로 등에 세웠던 단독 건축물로 지역의 역사와 문화를 반영한 문화경관이다. 셋째, 전통 패루의 대부분인 관식 패루는 건축 재료와 규모, 문양과 색채, 편액의 글귀 등을 통해서 천자 중심의 세계관, 유가의 통치이념, 도가의 미학사상 등 중국의 전통 사상을 상징적, 종합적으로 재현하였다. 마지막으로, 명·청 시대 북경성 주요 거리와 골목의 경계에 세워졌던 패루는 주민의 거주공간을 경계 짓고, 통제하기 위한 의도를 담고 있는 경관이었으며, 대부분 주요 지명으로 현전되고 있다. 이처럼 패루는 중국의 전통문화를 대표하는 건축경관이며, 어떤 장소의 역사문화적 특성을 상징적으로 재현하고, 그 경계를 명시적, 암묵적으로 지시해 주는 특수한 문화경관이다. 오늘날 패루는 중국과 해외 차이나타운에서 변용, 계승되고 있다. This study investigated the historical and cultural geography of pailou (or paifang), a cultural landscape represented in Yeolhailgi(熱河日記). The main findings are summarized as follows. First, in 1780, Yeonam experienced and observed the traditional pailous, which were located in various places, including the white pailou of a funeral home, a pailou built of stone, the loyalist pailou, and the ceramic pailou in the Qing dynasty. Second, pailou was a kind of traditional Chinese single-body architecture, erected in front of temples, tombs, clan halls, ministerial offices, bridges, gardens, street intersections or big shops. Third, most of the public pailou had symbolically and comprehensively represented traditional Chinese ideas through architectural materials and sizes, patterns, colors, and letters. Finally, a pailou, which was built on the borders of major streets and alleys of Beijing during the Ming and Qing dynasties, was a symbolic and complex landscape that served to keep cities in order and was intended to control spaces. Therefore, pailou was an architectural landscape representing traditional Chinese culture, and a cultural landscape symbolically recreating the historical and cultural characteristics of a place. Today, pailou is still being acculturated and inherited in China and in Chinatowns around the world.

In the contract for international sale of goods, electronic records instead of paper documents come to play vital roles for the negotiation and closing of contract between distant parties. It is necessary to review the effectiveness of electronic records. The legal recognition of electronic records is approved under USA Uniform Electronic Transactions Act, Supplement to the Uniform Customs and Practice for Documentary Credits for Electronic Presentation (eUCP) Version 1.1 and Korea Electronic Transactions Act. This paper examined retention and original of electronic records, effect of changes and errors in electronic records occurring in transmissions, the relationship between electronic records and signature, and legal recognition between electronic records and contract. In result, to be effective in the electronic records depends on the information contained in electronic records rather than relies on themselves. Electronic records will be attributed to a party if it is the act of the person, they may not contain an electronic signature. And electronic records can be effective if they comply with the requirements of Time and Place of Sending and Receipt under the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act.
