본 연구는 정신분석적 꿈 심리치료가 사회불안장애 내담자에게 미치는 영향에 대해 살펴보는 단일사례연구로 사회불안장애를 겪고 있는 내담자의 꿈의 변형과정을 정신분석 관점에서 살펴보고자 하는 것이다. 정신분석적 꿈 심리치료로 진행된 본 연구는 Kvale의 정신분석적 인터뷰로 진행되었으며, 내담자의 심리 내적 변화와 증상의 변형에 초점을 맞추고자 하였다. 연구자는 내담자가 자발적이고 자연적인 자기(self)로 발달할 수 있도록 새로운 대상관계 형성하기와 안전기지 되어주기, 담아주기와 공감하기로 치료적 관계를 지향하고자 하였으며, 꿈 분석은 Freud의 자유연상법과 Jung의 확장법에 중점을 두고 진행하였다. 본 연구의 목적은 내담자의 꿈을 정신분석 관점에서 이해하고자 하는 것이며, 꿈을 통해 내담자 자신이 의식하지 못했던 무의식의 신호를 알 수 있도록 하고, 사회적 환경에 보다 잘 적응할 수 있도록 인도해 주기 위함이다. This study is a single case study that examines the effect of psychoanalytic dream psychotherapy on a client with social anxiety disorder, aimed at investigating the transformation process of the dream of the client with social anxiety disorder from the perspective of psychoanalysis. This study conducted as psychoanalytic dream psychotherapy involved a Kvale’s psychoanalytic interview, and was intended to focus on the internal psychological change and the transformation of symptoms of the client. The researcher intended to orient the therapeutic relationship by forming a new object relations, providing a safe base, embracing and empathizing with the client so that the client could develop into a voluntary and natural self, and the interpretation of dream was performed on the basis of Freud’s free association and Jung’s expansion. The purpose of this study is to understand the dream of the client from the perspective of psychoanalysis, which further aims to allow the client to be aware of the unconscious signals that the client was unaware of through the dream, and to guide them to better adapt to the social environment.
