      • 암모늄-아미노산 이온성액체 및 수소결합공여체 혼합물의 CO<sub>2</sub> 흡수 특성 및 물성 변화

        연소후 CO<sub>2</sub> 포집 공정에서 사용되어 왔던 아민 계열 흡수제들의 몇 가지 단점으로는 반복 사용에 의한 열화, 휘발 손실 등을 들 수 있다. 이온성액체는 넓은 온도범위에서 액체인 용매로서, 열화 및 흡수제 손실이 아민에 비해 낮으며, 비교적 낮은 열용량을 가지고 다. 본 연구에서는 CO<sub>2</sub> 흡수를 위해 합성한 [HN222][amino acid] 형태의 몇 개의 이온성액체의 구조를 <sup>1</sup>H-NMR, FT-IR을 통해 확인하였다. 모사배기가스 조건에서의 CO<sub>2</sub> 흡수실험 결과, rich CO<sub>2</sub> loading에서 몇몇 이온성액체의 상분리가 관찰되었다. 이를 저감하고자 수소결합공여체(hydrogen bond donor, HBD)를 소량 첨가한 혼합흡수제 [HN222][serine]-triethylenetetraamine의 CO<sub>2</sub> 흡수 메커니즘을 13C-NMR을 통해 관찰하였다. 아울러 이온성액체 흡수제의 점도와 CO<sub>2</sub> 흡수능을 30 wt% MEA와 비교하였다. 그 결과 CO<sub>2</sub> 흡수능은 30 wt% MEA와 비슷하였지만, HBD의 첨가량이 늘어날수록 점도가 급격히 높아지는 현상을 보였다. 마지막으로 기존에 우리가 연구한 아민-이온성액체블렌드 및 합성한 다양한 이온성액체와의 비교를 통해 CO<sub>2</sub> 흡수제로서 이온성액체의 연구개발 방향에 대해 논의하였다.

      • 종업원 주식소유가 임금수준에 미치는 영향

        자본시장이 발달하면서 많은 근로자들이 점차 주식시장에 참여하고 있다. 이는 자본가와 근로자의 이해관계가 본질적으로 상충된다고 보는 전통적인 계급관계를 희석시킬 수 있는 새로운 패러다임이라 할 수 있다. 특히 종업원들로 하여금 자기회사주식(이하자사주)을 취득·보유케 하는 종업원주식소유제도(Employee stock ownership plans)는 경영성과의 제고, 노사대립의 완화, 산업민주주의의 실현 등과 같은 다양한 목적에서 기업과 정부의 주도로 확산되어 왔다. 이에 따라 종업원 주식소유가 기업의 재무적 성과, 생산성, 생존등과 같은 조직차원의 성과에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구가 활발하게 진행되었다. 그러나 종업원의 주식소유가 종업원 당사자들에게 미치는 영향에 관해서는 아직까지 이론적, 실증적 논의가 부족한 상황이다. 또한 기존 실증연구들은 횡단면 분석을 사용하였고 퇴직연금형으로 운영되고 있는 미국의 종업원주식소유제도만을 분석대상으로 삼았다는 점에서 한계점을 갖는다. 본 연구는 성과배분형 종업원주식소유제도를 실시하고 있는 한국의 상장기업을 대상으로 2006년부터 2008년까지의 패널데이터를 사용하여 종업원주식소유가 임금에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 분석결과, 우리사주 지분율이 높은 기업일수록 임금수준이 높으며 최대주주 지분율이 이러한 관계에 음의 방향으로 조절효과를 가진다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 이는 자사주를 취득한 종업원들이 주식보유로 확보한 'Labor voice'를 이용해 높은 고정적 청구권(임금)을 요구하기 때문인 것으로 보인다. 이는 종업원의 주식보유가 임금 이외의 변수에도 영향을 미칠 수 있음을 시사한다. 따라서 후속연구에서는 종업원들의 주식보유가 보다 광범위한 수준에서의 고용관계에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가에 대한 체계적인 실증연구가 이루어져야 할 것이다.

        다시점 영상 및 깊이 영상의 효율적인 표현을 위한 순차적 복원 기반 포인트 클라우드 생성 기법

        Multi-view images, which are widely used for providing free-viewpoint services, can enhance the quality of synthetic views when the number of views increases. However, there needs an efficient representation method because of the tremendous amount of data. In this paper, we propose a method for generating point cloud data for the efficient representation of multi-view color and depth images. The proposed method conducts sequential reconstruction of point clouds at each viewpoint as a method of deleting duplicate data. A 3D point of a point cloud is projected to a frame to be reconstructed, and the color and depth of the 3D point is compared with the pixel where it is projected. When the 3D point and the pixel are similar enough, then the pixel is not used for generating a 3D point. In this way, we can reduce the number of reconstructed 3D points. Experimental results show that the propose method generates a point cloud which can generate multi-view images while minimizing the number of 3D points.

        Long-Term Follow-Up Results of Photoselective Vaporization of the Prostate with the 120 W Greenlight HPS Laser for Treatment of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia

        Purpose: With the use of 12 months of follow-up data, this study was conducted to evaluate the efficacy of photoselective vaporization of the prostate (PVP) with the 120 W Greenlight high performance system (HPS) laser for the treatment of symptomatic benign prostatic hyperplasia. Materials and Methods: Data were collected from 104 patients who were diagnosed with benign prostatic hyperplasia and who underwent PVP with the 120 W Greenlight HPS Laser. Postoperative parameters, including International Prostate Symptom Score (IPSS), quality of life (QoL) score, maximum urinary flow rate (Qmax), and postvoid residual volume (PVR), were assessed and compared with preoperative baseline values. Results: The mean age of the patients was 71.1±7.7. The baseline mean prostate-specific antigen level was 3.8±2.7 ng/ml, the mean prostate size was 43.9±20.6 g, the mean preoperative IPSS was 18.4±8.5, the mean QoL score was 4.1±1.0, the mean Qmax was 9.9±5.5 ml/sec, and the mean PVR was 89.6±207.1 ml. During surgery, the mean operation time was 21.8±11.3 minutes, the mean lasing time was 16.9±10.5 minutes, and the mean total applied energy was 170,068±63,181 J. At 1 month, significant improvements were observed in total IPSS (11.5±6.7, p<0.05), voiding symptom score (6.1±5.4, p<0.05), and QoL score (2.2±1.5, p<0.05); however, there were no significant improvements in storage symptom score (4.8±3.8, p=0.06), Qmax (12.6±10.2, p=0.06), and PVR (40.1±30.5, p=0.41). However, 3 months after surgery, all postoperative follow-up parameters showed significant improvements, and the 6- and 12-month data showed sustained improvement of postoperative follow-up parameters. Conclusions: Significant improvements were observed in subjective and objective voiding parameters, which were evident at 3 months after PVP and were sustained throughout a period of 12 months after PVP.

        DVD 비디오와 차세대 DVD의 한 진영인 HD-DVD 비디오 디스크는 다른 광 디스크와 마찬가지로 스크래치와 같은 결함이 발생할 수 있다. 결함은 물리적/논리적 원인에 따라 분류 가능하다. 결함은 디스크의 내부구조(네비게이션 데이터와 프리젠테이션 데이터)의 위치에 따라 각각 다른 이상 동작 현상을 발생 시킨다. 본 논문에서는 결함으로 인한 이상 동작 현상을 분류하고, 복구 또는 회피 할 수 있는 알고리즘을 제안하여 DVD/HD-DVD 비디오 디스크를 사용하는데 있어 결함으로 인한 불편함을 최소화하는데 목적이 있다.

        Effect of 5-alpha Reductase Inhibitor on Storage Symptoms in Patients with Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia

        Purpose: Many patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) have storage symptoms. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effects of treatment with a 5-alpha reductase inhibitor (5ARI) on storage symptoms in patients with BPH. Methods: This study was conducted in 738 patients with lower urinary tract symptoms secondary to BPH. Patients with a prostate volume of higher than 30 mL on the transrectal ultrasound were classified into two groups: group A, in which an alpha blocker was solely administered for at least 12 months, and group B, in which a combination treatment regimen of an alpha blocker plus 5ARI was used. This was followed by an analysis of the changes in parameters such as the total International Prostate Symptom Score (IPSS), voiding symptom subscore, and storage symptom subscore between the two groups. In addition, we examined whether there was a significant difference between the two groups in the degree of change in storage symptoms between before and after the pharmacological treatment. Results: Of the 738 men, 331 had a prostate volume ≥30 mL, including 150 patients in group A and 181 patients in group B. Total IPSS, the voiding symptom subscore, and the storage symptom subscore were significantly lower after treatment than before treatment in both groups (P<0.05). A comparison of the degree of change between before and after treatment, however, showed no significant differences in the storage symptom subscore between the two groups (P>0.05). Conclusions: Alpha blocker and 5ARI combination treatment is effective for patients with BPH including storage symptoms. However, 5ARI does not exert a significant effect on storage symptoms in BPH patients.

        Development and Utilization of KASP Markers Targeting the Lipoxygenase Gene in Soybean

        Lipoxygenase gives soybeans their grassy flavor, which can disrupt food processing efficiency. This study aimed to identify soybean genotypes with lipoxygenase deficiency among 1,001 soybean accessions and to develop kompetitive allele specific PCR (KASP) markers that can detect lipoxygenase mutations. Three lipoxygenase isozymes (Lox1, Lox2, and Lox3) were analyzed using a colorimetric assay based on a substrate-enzyme reaction. Among the 1,001 accessions examined, two (IT160160 and IT276392) exhibited a deficiency solely in Lox1, and one (IT269984) lacked both Lox1 and Lox2. IT160160 had a 74-bp deletion in exon 8 of Lox1 (Glyma13g347600), whereas IT276392 displayed a missense mutation involving the change of C to A at position 2,880 of Lox1. Moreover, we successfully developed four KASP markers that specifically target Lox1, Lox2, and Lox3 mutations. To validate the Lox1 KASP markers, we used two F2:3 populations generated through a cross between Daepung 2 (lipoxygenase wild type, maternal parent), IT160160, and IT276392 (null Lox1, paternal parent). The results revealed that the Daepung 2 × IT160160 group followed the expected 3:1 ratio according to Mendel’s law, whereas the Daepung 2 × IT276392 group did not. Furthermore, a comparison between the colorimetric and KASP marker analyses results revealed a high agreement rate of 96%. KASP markers offer a distinct advantage by allowing the distinction of heterozygous types independent of other variables. As a result, we present an opportunity to expedite the lipoxygenase-deficient cultivar development.

        줄기세포와 조직공학적 기법을 이용한 회장도관술 대체에 대한 예비연구

        Purpose: We studied the feasibility and results of a tissue-engineered ileal conduit using a poly (ε-caprolactone) (PCL) nano-sheet seeded with muscle-derived stem cells to replace a conventional ileal conduit in rats. Materials and Methods: Muscle-derived stem cells were isolated from the gastrocnemius muscle of female Sprague-Dawley rats (200-250 g, n=6) by use of a preplate technique and were cultured on a PCL nano-sheet. The PCL nano-sheet was implanted into the omentum of rats and was then made into a conical shaped conduit. Rats were sacrificed 4 and 8 weeks after implantation, and morphologic changes were assessed by H&E and immunofluorescence staining, including DAPI staining and staining for myogenin and myosin heavy chain (MyHC). Results: All rats survived until the end of the experiment. A minimal inflammatory reaction was observed around the PCL nano-sheet in the 4 week specimens but was found to be reduced in the 8 week specimen. Muscle bundles were identified at week 4 as well as week 8 after implantation on H&E staining. Around the PCL sheet, immunostaining for both myogenin and MyHC were positive, indicating skeletal muscle differentiation and ingrowth into the PCL sheet. Conclusions: A PCL nano-sheet seeded with muscle-derived stem cells showed successful skeletal muscle differentiation at 4 and 8 weeks after implantation. This preliminary result supports the feasibility of a tissue-engineered ileal conduit using a PCL nano-sheet (seeded with muscle-derived stem cells) in place of conventional ileal conduits.
