In this paper dielectric and piezoelectric properties were measured for 2 phase - dispersed composite system consisting of ferroelectric ceramic PZTparticles and polymer PVC. The results were analyzed and the validity of composite theories for experimental results were discussed. And also in high temperature where ionic conductivity is dominated, linear and nonlinear permittivites were measured and discussed.
원자력발전소의 화재안전성 평가에서 화재모델링 불확실성 분석

본 논문에서는 원자력발전소의 화재 안전성평가에서 제기되는 화재모델링 불확실성 분석 방법을 검토하고 논의하였다. 원자력발전소의 성능기반 화재 안전성평가에 대해서는 NUREG-1934를, 확률론적 화재 안전성 평가에 대해서는 NUREG/CR-6850를 중심으로 화재 모델링 불확실성 분석 방법을 소개하고 몬테칼로 시뮬레이션을 이용한 불확실성 분석 방법에 대해 논의하였다.

In this paper, to systematically assess the abandonment risk of main control room (MCR) fire, fire simulations with FireDynamics Simulator were performed and abandonment probabilities were estimated for the MCR bench-board fire of domestic referencenuclear power plant. The fire simulation scenarios performed in this study included propagating and non-propagating fires of the MCRbench-board, and the availability and unavailability of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system (HVACS). The following resultswere obtained. First, temperature was the major abandonment impact factor for the MCR bench-board fire if the HVACS was availableand optical density was that if the HVACS was unavailable. Second, the fire scenario contributing the MCR bench-board fireabandonment risk was identified to be only the propagating fire. Third, it was confirmed that the abandonment probability of the MCRbench-board fire for domestic reference nuclear power plant could be reduced by using the fire modeling.
원자력발전소의 화재사건 확률론적안전성평가 모델 구축에 관한 연구

A single fire event within a fire area can cause multiple initiating events considered in internal events probabilistic safety assessment (PSA). For an example, a fire event in turbine building fire area can cause a loss of the main feed-water and loss of off-site power initiating events. This fire initiating event could result in special plant responses beyond the scope of the internal events PSA model. One approach to address a fire initiating event is to develop a specific fire event tree. However, the development of a specific fire event tree is difficult since the number of fire event trees may be several hundreds or more. Thus, internal fire events PSA model has been generally constructed by modifications of the pre-developed internal events PSA model. New accident sequence logics not covered in the internal events PSA model are separately developed to incorporate them into the fire PSA model. Recently, many fire PSA models have fire induced initiating event fault trees not shown in an internal event PSA model. Up to now, there has been no analytical comparative study on the constructions of fire events PSA model using internal events PSA model with and without fault trees of initiating events. In this study, the changing process of internal events PSA model to fire events PSA model is analytically presented and discussed.
원자력발전소 화재 안전성분석에서 화재 유발 케이블 손상시간 추정

원자력발전소의 화재로 인한 전기 케이블의 손상 시간 평가는 케이블과 연결된 기기(equipment)의 손상시간과 직접 연관되기에 화재 안전성 평가에 매우 중요하다. 화재 유발 전기 케이블 손상시간은 원자력발전소의 안전정지를 위한 운전원 행위 신뢰성에 커다란 영향을 미치기 때문이다. 원자력발전소에서 화재로 인한 전기 케이블의 손상 결정에는 세 가지 방법(단일 노출 경계치(exposure threshold), 온도에 따른 시간 손상 표(lookup table), THIEF(Thermally -Induced Electrical Failure) 모델)이 사용되어 왔다. 이들 방법 중 단일 온도나 단일 열속(heat flux) 값을 기준으로 케이블 손상을 결정하는 단일 노출 경계치 값이 많이 사용되고 있지만 케이블 손상까지 소요되는 케이블 가열시간을 고려하지 않아 보수적이다. THIEF 모델은 많은 데이터를 사용하기에 제한적으로 이용되고 있다. NUREG-2178에서는 최근 기존 세 가지 방법들의 단점들을 보완하기 위해 열흡수법(heat soak method)을 발표하였다. 이 방법은 케이블이 화재에 의해 가열되는 시간을 고려하여 케이블 손상시간을 결정한다. 본 논문에서는 일반 임시 점화원(transient ignition source)에 의해 노출된 열경화성(thermo-set) 케이블의 화재 시나리오에 대해 열흡수법과 단일 노출 경계법을 적용하여 케이블 손상 시간을 추정하고 비교하였다. 임시 점화원 열방출율은 NUREG-2233에서 제시한 식을 사용하였고, 점화원의 플름 온도 추정은 Heskestad의 플름(plume)온도 상관 식을 사용하였다. 본 연구결과, 임시 점화원 화재 유발 케이블 손상시간 추정에 대한 열흡수법의 적용은 현실적인 원전 화재 안전성 평가에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

Durability of automotive structures is a primary engineering consideration that is evaluated during a vehicle design and development. In addition, it is a basic expectation of consumers, who demand ever-increasing levels of quality and dependability. Automakers have developed corporate requirements for vehicle system durability which must be met before a product is delivered to the customer. To provide early predictions of vehicle durability, prior to the construction and testing of prototypes, it is necessary to predict the forces generated in the vehicle structure due to road inputs. This paper describes an application of the virtual proving ground? approach for vehicle durability load prediction for a vehicle on proving ground road surfaces. Correlation of the results of such a series of simulations will be described, and the modeling and simulation requirements to provide accurate simulations will be presented.
여성형유방증 치료에 있어서 절제술 전 초음파 지방흡입술의 역할

Purpose: The method of using ultrasound-assisted liposuction and excision of the remaining glandular tissue is the preferred method for treating gynecomastia and is currently used worldwide. Herein, this article described the role of ultrasound-assisted liposuction before a surgical excision in the treatment of gynecomastia. The cosmetic results were objectively evaluated. Methods: 11 patients (22 breasts) underwent ultrasoundassisted liposuction and suction-assisted lipectomy between April 2007 and January 2009. At the end of the liposuction, the remaining glandular tissue was removed through the incision used for liposuction. We evaluated the cosmetic results using ordinary scale methods on the basis of four categories (recurrence, symmetry, contour irregularity, and scar). Results: The volume of aspirates ranged between 50 and 200 cc per breast and the average weight of tissue removed by excision was 65g per breast. No complications were recorded. Regarding the cosmetic evaluation, the recurrence, contour irregularity, and scar were excellent, the symmetry was good, and the overall results represented all those cases were mostly excellent. Conclusion: Ultrasound-assisted liposuction has many advantages in the treatment of gynecomastia. When excising the remaining glandular tissue, bleeding is decreased by the use of a tumescent technique. The glandular tissue is easily mobilized and excised after being "morselized" with ultrasound-assisted liposuction. The glandular tissue is simply dissected via the suction surface. Compared the residual mound of glandular tissue beneath the nipple and areola to the periphery, it facilitates precise control of the excision.

In this study dielectric and piezoelectric properties of fluoro-rubber/PZT composite were measured and analyzed by composite's laws. As the results the Rayleigh's equation was well consistent with experimental results qualitatively and the Bruggeman's equation was more well consistent with the experimental results for volume fraction of PZT quantitatively.
