        실업계 고등학교 교사의 산업체 연수 방안

        The purposes of this study were to review the present conditions and issues of the in-industry training of vocational high school teachers in Korea and suggest desirable ways to operate in-industry training programs for vocational high school teachers in order to empower them to meet the increasing demands of educational and industrial circles. In order to achieve these goals, authors a) analyzed policies, laws, current status, and problems related to training systems of vocational high school teachers, b) reviewed the training systems of vocational high school teachers in major advanced countries, c) held interviews with 16 city and provincial education agencies in charge of management of field training programs for vocational high school teachers, and d) performed needs analysis by interview with 16 industries that were currently managing and holding field teacher training programs. Based on the analysis, we proposed strategies to the field training programs of vocational high school teachers.

        지식기반사회 도래에 따른 실고 정보통신 관련 전공과 운영실태 및 인력 육성 방안

        The objectives of this study were to find out needs, types, and levels of IT(Information Technology) man-power which would be developed in vocational high schools according to the demanding changes of IT manpower in knowledge-based society, to analyze status and problem of information technology subjects in vocational high schools, and to suggest efficient strategies for IT man-power development by the job analyses far curriculum development. This study was carried out through review of the related literatures, workshop for job analyses, and discussion panel consisting of vocational high school teachers, principal of board of education, educational administrators, and experts in IT. The job analyses were conducted on `Management Information`, `Multi-media`, `Electronic Communication`, and `Information Technology` majors. Main findings were as follows: (1) The number of subjects related to `equipments operation area` in IT were relatively too many than other areas in industrial vocational high schools, and the number of subjects related to `services area` in IT were relatively too many in commercial vocational high schools. (2) The contents of subjects were overlapped in industrial and commercial vocational high schools. and (3) The curriculum in IT majors was not appropriated to IT man-power development in the Knowledge-based society. Because subjects related to IT majors in vocational high schools have difficulties in fulfilling various needs of industries, the strategies to develop IT man-power should establish in consideration of followings: (1) development of key competencies, (2) change of subjects related to IT, (3) flexible operation of curriculum, (4) enhancement of teacher`s performances, (5) establishment of facilities for experiments and practices.

        인천광역시 실업계 고등학교 발전 방안

        The purposes of this study were to be correspondent` to the changing industrial surroundings, to reform the vocational high school system in Inchon where on individual school would be specialization and professionalization, and to establish a plan to improve vocational high schools in Inchon. The study was carried out by the following procedures: (1) Analyze the current facing environment of vocational high schools in Inchon through the review of related literatures, (2) Survey and interview with teachers engaged in the Inchon`s vocational high schools, (3) Hold a Inchon`s Vocational High School Counsel Meeting to advise about the study performances, (4) Hold a Inchon`s Vocational High School Executives Meeting to review and to revise results of the study, (5) Held a Conference to share the research results and to collect the responding opinion. As the result of this study, improving plans were presented by two approached ways: (1) to reorganize the vocational high school system in Inchon, strategic factors were analyzed by vocational high school`s types & on individual school in Inchon, and the plans were presented of the specialization, and professionalization, and the department`s coordination were presented. (2) in order to insure substantiality, These were presented the numbers of teachers, directions of curriculums, career guidance, Industry and school cooperation, facilities, finances and social concerns. In addition, teacher supply and demand were predicted on the assumption that Inchon will complete the vocational high school reform after 2003. In future, the plans suggested in this study will be of great use at planing detail major projects in practice effectively.

        서울특별시 실업계 고교 교육의 활성화 방안

        The purpose of this study was to development of activating directions of vocational high school edition in Seoul metropolitan city. To perform this propose, related data reviewing, survey (vocational school presidents and vocational school teaches), conferences, and public hearing were conducted. The results of this study were as following: a) Social recognitions change and reinforcement of public responsibilities about vocational education were indicated as the most desirable solution of vocational high school`s urgent problems. b) Vocational high schools and teachers were indicated that structure reforming must be performed in the range of current structures, as well as schools and teachers have to do best own endeavors. c) Activating plans of vocational hitch school and recommendations were proposed at last.

        초·중등학교에서의 직업기초능력 강화 방안

        The purpose of this study was to suggest the strengthening strategies of key competencies needed for the workforce. Concretely, this study was intended to suggest to strategies for educating key competencies and for supporting the education of key competencies in the elementary and secondary education. For accomplishing these objectives, literature review, analysis of the cases in the developed countries, and expert committee were used. The results of this study were as follows: First, we proposed the educational objectives, contents, methods of instruction and learning, and evaluation methods for educating key competencies in each area of competencies. Also, we investigated the relationship between key competencies and national core curriculum in order to suggest possible strategies for the infusion of key competencies into the national core curriculum. Second, we proposed the strategies through the establishment of new subject, `Human and Vacation for educating key competencies. Specifically, we suggested educational objectives, contents, plan of instruction-learning, and plan of evaluation of this subject. Third, for supporting the education of key competencies, this study proposed the following strategies; the reinforcement of teacher education arid in-service training, the development and diffusion of curriculum and educational materials,, the improvement of legal and institutional systems, the change of social consciousness on vocational education, and the assistance of research and development. Based upon the results of this study, some recommendations for policy execution and further research were suggested.

        기업의 효과적인 Blended Learning 개발·운영 전략 탐색을 위한 연구

        Blended Learning은 교육훈련의 성과를 높이고 기업이 직면한 새로운 환경에 보다 효과적으로 대응할 수 있는 교육훈련 전략으로써 많은 기업에서 활용하고 있다. 그러나 대부분의 기업들은 Blended Learning을 보다 성공적으로 정착시키기 위한 효과적인 개발, 운영 전략을 명확히 수립하지 않은 상태로 진행을 하기 때문에 여러 가지 문제점을 경험하고 있는 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 기업의 Blended Learning 사례를 분석하여 실제적인 Blended Learning의 개발, 운영 과정을 파악하고 그 과정에서 나타난 문제점과 성과를 도출하여 기업에서 효과적으로 Blended Learning을 개발·운영하는 데 지침이 될 수 있는 전략과 방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 온라인 콘텐츠를 Blended Learning으로 개발하고 운영하는 과정을 관찰과 면담, 설문조사의 방법을 통해 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 온라인 과정에 비해 Blended Learning은 학습 성취와 만족도 측면에서 긍정적인 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났으나 Blended Learning에 포함된 다양한 교수방법에 학습자들의 적극적인 참여를 이끌어 내기 어려운 점이 문제점으로 지적되었다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 결과를 바탕으로 Blended Learning의 효과적 개발과 운영을 위한 전략과 방안을 제시하였다. Blended learning has recently been a well-known approach to workplace learning for maximizing learning outcomes and effectively coping with changing training environments. However, even though its popularity, blended learning has shown its difficulties and problems in practice due to lack of systematic strategies for development and implementation. The purpose of this study is to examine a case of developing and implementing blended learning, to investigate advantages and disadvantages of the studied approach, and to provide corporations with guidelines for effective development and implementation of blended learning. This study was conducted by doing interviews with facilitator and instructor, surveys with students about their learning outcomes and satisfaction, and field observations of the development and implementation processes. The major findings of this study are as follows: participants were satisfied with blended learning approaches in terms of its effectiveness to achieve learning objectives. However, the interviews with instructors indicated that a primary challenge for the implementation is to encourage participants to become more actively involved in various modes of instruction introduced in blended learning Finally, several strategies and guidelines for broadening the applicability of blended learning were provided.
