      • 韓國 高等敎育機關의 이미지에 關한 實證的 硏究

        The purposes of study are 1) to identify factors forming images of higher education in Korea and 2) to investigate the differences in images according to sex, age and educational experiences. Then every organization including university is trying eagerly to achieve its objectives. However, Incase of Korea, The university as a public institution neglects in activities to elevate its images comparing to order institutions and also do not participate eagery in research activity about the elevation of images. Accordingly, This study is trying to solve the basic research problem as followings to provide the baseline of theory for elevation of images. 1. What factors are there in images of higher education institution? 2. What differences are shown in images by sex, age and educational experiences? To answer the above questions, the related literatures were reviewed and the questionnaires were developed and implemented to identify the current status of images of higher education institution. The result of analysis are as follows; 1) factors of images for university. The results of factor analysis show that there are four factors such as ethical factor, rational factor, dynamic factor and evaluative factors in images. The variance by factors are as follows; factor I 16.38% factor II 14.39% Factor III 14.08% factor IV 9.85% The above four factors explain 54.7% of total variance. 2) differences in image by sex There are no singnificant differences are shown in images by sex of other variables except Suwon college. 3) differences in images by age There are no significant differences are shown in images by age of other variables. 4) differences in images by educational experience There are no significant differences are shown in images by educational experience of other variables. In summary, The highly educated person has more negative images of university than the lower educated person. The younger generation also has more negative images of university than the older one. the college student thinks the university is not the best place in seeking for ideal The man also has more negative images than the woman. In conclusion, The university should try to elevate the images of university for every walks of life.

      • 임상연구 비대칭 환자 중 교정수술 후 과의 위치 대한변화

        과의 위치변화는 재발과 턱관절(TMJ)에 중요한 영향을 미친다. 이번 임상연구는 LeFortI(Le Fort I osteotomy)와 BSSRO(bilateral sagittal split ramus osteotomy) 수술후, 과의 위치 변화에 따라 시간별로 논의를 진행한다. 21 명의 환자를 선택하였는데 모두 앞으로 나온 하악골과 하악골 좌우 측면이 비대칭이다. 환자의 경우 LeFortI+BSSRO팀과 BSSRO팀으로 나눠 치료한다. 원추형빔ct(cone-beamcomputedtomography,CBCT)측정 수술 전후 3개월, 6개월, 12개월의 시간별로 돌기3차원조직평면위치의 변화를 비교하고 토론한다. 결과:LeFortI+BSSRO팀과BSSRO팀, 수술 후 과 의 위치는 시간이 달라진다. 결론 : 수술후 한쪽과 비한쪽의 LeFortI+BSSRO수술팀이 새로운 봉합관계를 형성하는 것은 더 짧은 기간(6개월)이며, BSSRO수술팀은 더 긴 시간이 필요하다. Le Fort I + BSSRO 조의 편측과 비편측의 변화는 비슷하다. 그러나 BSSRO의 편측과 비편측의 대부분 수치가 확연히 상반된다. 그러므로 한 쪽 방향 BSSRO수술 후 한쪽 과 가 재발하고 위치가 개변될 확률이 비교적 크다. 한쪽과가 TMJ는 질병의 확률이 Le Fort I + BSSRO 보다 높다. 우리는LeFortI+BSSRO팀과 BSSRO팀에서 수술 후 과 의 위치가 3차원 평면에 변화가 생겼고 시간이 지나면 위치가 점차 안정되면서 새로운 봉합관계에 적응한다는 것을 발견하였다. Introduction: The change of condylar position has important effect on recurrence and temporomandibular joint (TMJ). In this study, changes in the position of the mandibular condyle at different time periods were observed in the operations of maxillary Le Fort I osteotomy + bilateral sagittal split ramus osteotomy(Le Fort I + BSSRO) and single-jaw bilateral sagittal split ramus osteotomy(BSSRO), and to discussed. Method: In this study, 21 patients were selected, all of whom were mandibular Angle’s Class III malocclusion, mandibular forward and bilateral asymmetry. According to the surgical method designed by the patient, the patients were divided into Le Fort I +BSSRO group and BSSRO group for treatment. CBCT (cone-beam computed tomographic) was used to measure the change of condylar position in three-dimensional tissue plane at different time before and after surgery, 3 months, 6 months, 12 months after surgery for comparison and discussion. Results: In the Le Fort I + BSSRO group and the BSSRO group, the condyle position was changed at different time after surgery, and the condyle changes were different. Conclusion: After surgery, deviation and non-deviation in the Le Fort I + BSSRO group could achieve the stability of the new occlusion relationship in a shorter time period (6 months), while the BSSRO group needed longer time to adjust.

      • 불화나트륨 및 흡연이 인공 Streptococcus mutans 치면세균막 형성에 미치는 영향

        This thesis is divided into two chapters to introduce the effects of two common substances on the growth of oral caries biofilm. In chapter 1, the effects of fluoride on the development of cariogenic biofilms were introduced. Streptococcus mutans (S. mutans) biofilms were cultured in vitro and treated with F- at different concentrations (250~2000 ppm) in the early and mature stages. To evaluate the effect of sodium fluoride on the growth of S. mutans biofilm, biochemical (dry weight accumulation, water-insoluble/soluble extracellular polysaccharides (EPSs), intracellular polysaccharides (IPS), acid production), microbiological (viable cell counting) and confocal image (live/dead assay, biofilm architecture) analyses were conducted. The experimental results showed that all fluoride treatment groups significantly inhibited the dry weight accumulation, viable cell counts, and total EPSs formation of 46 h-old S. mutans biofilm in a concentration-dependent manner. In the mature stage of biofilm growth, only the fluoride treatment at 2000 ppm significantly inhibited the biomass accumulation, bacterial activity, and EPSs formation of S. mutans biofilm compared with those of the other groups. Thus, the effect of fluoride treatment on the disruption of S. mutans biofilm was related to the stage of biofilm development and in turn, treatment of fluoride at the early stage of biofilm may control the cariogenic biofilm formation and prevent caries. The second chapter introduces the effect of cigarette smoking (CS) on the growth of cariogenic biofilms. S. mutans biofilms were cultured in vitro and exposed to CS one, three, and six times per day, respectively. To examine the effect of CS on S. mutans biofilm formation, biofilms were exposed to CS for 5 min using a custom-made smoking device. The total biomass, viable cell counts, contents of water-soluble/insoluble EPSs and IPS, acid production, and three-dimensional architecture of S. mutans biofilms at 74 h were analyzed. The experimental results showed the 6 times/day CS exposure group showed the lowest biofilm accumulation and EPS values compared with those of other groups in 74 h-old S. mutans biofilms. CS exposure inhibited the S. mutans biofilm formation in vitro study, the formation of anti-cariogenic biofilm was enhanced in a frequency-dependent manner. In this study, the effect of fluoride and CS on the growth of S. mutans biofilm were conducted and the results suggested that fluoride treatment in the early stage of cariogenic biofilm formation may control the cariogenic biofilm formation and prevent caries, CS exposure inhibited the growth of S. mutans biofilms, the anti-cariogenic biofilm formation was increased with a frequency-dependent manner.
