This study, dealing with the sexual discrimination in traditional Korea is focused upon the female ontology with reference to the sexuality. The range of interests covers such various subjects as sexual tropology, $quot;public (or normative) female life-story,$quot; signification of female sitting posture, myth as discriminating linguistic system between male and female and sexual symbolism of agricultural instruments including several kinds of hoe. So, it seems as if this paper moves about and transgresses to and fro. However, taking advantage of the wide range of topics, the paper intends to show how the sex discrimination was prevalent and critical among various socio-cultural context, regardless any difference of event, occasion and also field in society as well as culture. Consistently and inherently, this paper would like to bring it into light that the latent, pertinaceous operation of system eliminating female from phallo-centric, socio-cultural milieu and distorting her biologically as well as culturally. Female as a sign is distortion and elimination. Abortion, incision of labia and/or clitoris, seperation from natal family, sucide and so far, these units in sequence constitutes the whole narrative structure of female life story. Each unit corresponds to such transitory phases or status as foetus, premarital puberty, marriage and widow who was encouraged to kill herself in order to protect the chasity. In this regard, Korean traditional feminity is something to be cut off. She was an existence, not existing.
