5단 로켓을 이용한 우주의 처분된 핵 폐기물에 대한 관리 방법을 연구하였다. L4, L5 지점에 위치한 핵폐기물은 전자기력을 이용하여 하나의 덩어리로 묶어서 관리할 수 있으며 그러한 시스템의 개념을 제시하였다. 유사시 소행성의 충돌 위험이 있을 경우, KSLV-2의 기술을 기반으로 한 5단 로켓을 통해 핵폐기물을 이동시킬 수 있다. 그리고 이 5단 로켓은 3.5 Phase method를 통해 원하는 지점까지 도달할 수 있음을 확인하였다. Dump site management of nuclear waste using 5<SUP>th</SUP> stage rocket was studied. Nuclear waste is managed as a group by electromagnetic force. In an emergency of an imminent asteroid collisi on, the 5<SUP>th</SUP> stage rocket vehicle, of a KSLV-2, can move the group of nuclear waste away fro m the danger. This rocket can move to the L4 or L5 using a 3.5 phase method. The 5<SUP>th</SUP> stage rocket with a payload of 400kg can be used for this purpose.

Purpose: Extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL) is a first-line treatment for pediatric urinary stone disease. We aimed to determine the factors affecting the outcome of ESWL for unilateral urinary stones in children. Materials and Methods: A total of 81 pediatric patients aged 0 to 16 years with urinary stones treated by ESWL from January 1995 through May 2012 were retrospectively reviewed. All patients were required to have unilateral urinary stone disease. Children who underwent other surgical procedures before ESWL were excluded. Outcomes evaluated after ESWL were the stone-free rate at 3 months after ESWL, success within a single session, and success within three sessions. Factors affecting the success within three sessions were also analyzed. Results: The final analysis was for 42 boys and 22 girls (mean age, 9.2±5.2 years). Of these 64 patients, 58 (90.6%) were treated by ESWL without other surgical procedures and 54 (84.4%) were successfully treated within three ESWL sessions. In the multivariate analysis, multiplicity (odds ratio [OR], 0.080; 95% confidence interval [CI],0.012 to 0.534; p=0.009) and large stone size (>10 mm; OR, 0.112; 95% CI, 0.018 to 0.707; p=0.020) were significant factors that decreased the success rate within three ESWL sessions. Conclusions: Most of the pediatric urinary stone patients in our study (90.6%) were successfully treated by ESWL alone without additional procedures. If a child has a large urinary stone (>10 mm) or multiplicity, clinicians should consider that several ESWL sessions might be needed for successful stone fragmentation.
디지털트윈 기술을 활용한 지하공동구 재난관리 방법에 관한 연구

본 논문에서는 2종 이상의 라이프라인을 수용하고 있는 지하공동구에 대한 화재‧재난관리 기술에 관한 것이다. 지하공동구 의 공간적인 구조 특성상 재난관리 사각지대가 발생하고 초동대응이 어려울 뿐 아니라화재‧재난이 순간적으로 확산됨에 따라 화재‧재난발생을 미연에 방지하고 초동대응을 통해 화재‧재난이 확산되는 것을 억제하는 것이 중요하다. 이를 위해, 본 논문에 서는 AI, 빅데이터, IoT, 차세대 이동통신, 지능형 로봇들이 지능화되고 융합되는 디지털트윈 기술을 활용하여 지하공동구 화 재‧재난관리 방법을 제안하였다. 본 논문에서 제안된 방법은 지하공동구 현장을 고정형 복합센서 모듈과 지능형 이동로봇을 상호 유기적 협업하며, 수집된 정보를 모델링 및 시뮬레이션 기법을 활용한 인과관계 분석에 의한 최적의 의사결정지원정보를 추론함으로써 화재‧재난 발생을 미연에 방지하고 재난피해를 최소화할 수 있는 화재‧재난 관리방법을 제안하였다.
Intraoperative management for ex-utero intrapartum treatment: focusing on the fetus

Ex-utero intrapartum treatment (EXIT) is a method of securing the airway of a fetus while maintaining umbilical circulation for newborns who are experiencing life-threatening airway obstruction. Cesarean section is completed only after ensuring the neonate’s safety. However, managing the airway of a neonate while maintaining umbilical circulation is a major challenge for anesthesiologists. Anesthesiologists must understand the physiology of both the mother and fetus, and extensive discussions with obstetricians, pediatricians, otolaryngologists, and nursing staff prior to the procedure are essential. This review provides an overview of the EXIT and details of airway management for neonates.

Using an ionized physical vapor deposition (IPVD) apparatus, we formed a low-temperature silicon-oxide gate insulator (GI) for top-gate-type In-Ga-Zn oxide channel transparent thin-film transistors (IGZO-TTFTs) for the first time. IGZO-TTFTs with SiO<SUB>x</SUB> GIs (100 nm) showed a low gate leakage current of about 10<SUP>-12</SUP> A up to 30 V (gate voltage) comparable to an AlO<SUB>x</SUB> GI fabricated by atomic layer deposition (ALD). However, it had a high drain off-current (∼10<SUP>-8</SUP> A) with a low drain current on-off ratio of ∼10<SUP>-2</SUP> A due to the inductively coupled plasma (ICP) stream during the IPVD- GI process. In order to protect an IGZO channel layer from the plasma effect, we deposited a shallow AlO<SUB>x</SUB> (10 nm) layer on the IGZO by using ALD. Using this double-layered GI, a high mobility transistor (30.95 cm<SUP>2</SUP>/sV) with a drain current on-off ratio of ∼10<SUP>6</SUP> could be achieved.
