      • SDP Master 이중화를 지원하는 확장 SLDS 설계 및 구현

        최근 이동체의 위치 데이타를 활용한 위치 기반 서비스에 대한 관심이 높아지면서 보다 효율적인 이동체 위치 데이타 관리 시스템으로 클러스터 기반 분산 컴퓨팅 구조인 GALIS(Gracefully Aging Location Information System)가 제시되었다. 그러나, GALIS의 서브 시스템인 SLDS(Short-term Location Data Subsystem)에서 SDP Master는 다수의 SDP(Short-term Data Processor) 노드들이 처리한 질의 결과를 취합하여 Client로 보내는 구조이기 때문에 SDP Master에 장애가 발생하거나 부하가 집중될 경우에 서비스가 중지되거나 Client로의 응답 시간이 길어지는 문제가 있다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 기존 SLDS에 이중화를 지원하기 위해 SDP Master를 추가하여 기존 SLDS의 안정성과 가용성을 높이고 이동체 위치 데이타의 질의 처리 성능을 향상시킨 확장 SLDS를 설계 및 구현하였다. 확장 SLDS에서는 이중화된 두 대의 SDP Master를 가동하여 한 SDP Master에 장애가 발생하더라도 다른 SDP Master가 서비스를 계속 제공함으로써 현재 위치 데이타의 실시간성과 시스템의 안정성을 보장한다. 또한, 확장 SLDS는 두 대의 SDP Master가 질의 처리를 분산하여 수행하기 때문에 Client로의 응답 시간을 줄일 수 있다. 마지막으로 확장 SLDS의 장애 테스트와 질의 처리 성능을 실험하였으며, 이러한 실험을 통해 확장 SLDS의 고신뢰성 및 고가용성을 검증하였다. Recently, with highly Interest In Location-Based Service(LBS) utilizing location data of moving objects, the GALIS(Gracefully Aging Location Information System) which is a cluster-based distributed computing architecture was proposed as a more efficient location management system of moving objects. In the SLDS(Short-term location Data Subsystem) which Is a subsystem of the GALIS, since the SDP(Short-term Data Processor) Master transmits current location data and queries to every SDP Worker, the SDP Master reassembles and sends query results produced by SDP Workers to the client. However, the services are suspended during the SDP Master under failure and the response time to the client is increased if the load is concentrated on the SDP Master. Therefore, in this paper, the extended SLDS was designed and implemented to solve these problems. Though one SDP Master is under failure, the other can provide the services continually, and so the extended SLDS can guarantee the high reliability of the SLDS. The extended SLDS also can reduce the response time to the client by enabling two SDP Masters to perform the distributed query processing. Finally, we proved high reliability and high availability of the extended SLDS by implementing the current location data storage, query processing, and failure takeover scenarios. We also verified that the extended SLDS is more efficient than the original SLDS through the query processing performance evaluation.

        신생혈관형성 생체표지자, 인테그린 αvβ3에 대한 예비표적화를 위한 아비딘 결합 펩타이드 유사체의 합성과 최적화 및 영상 연구

        Determination of angiogenesis has been used for the verification of new tissue generation or tumor cell growth. In this study, we developed a pre-targeting method with non-invasive imaging technique, which can detect angiogenic stage of neovasculature in tumor xenografted mouse model. The angiogenesis was induced by transplanting M21 melanoma with continuous proliferation activity and the aid of biomaterial scaffold, Matrigel, as a tissue engineering drug preparations from basement membrane matrix. Angiogenic biomarker, integrin αvβ3 receptor molecule was selected as the target of this pre-targeting study and one of the RGD peptide mimics or integrin αvβ3 receptor antagonist (IA), 4-[2-(3,4,5,6-tetrahydro-pyrimidine-2-ylamino)ethyloxy]benzoyl-2-(S)-amino-ethylsulfonyl-amino-β-alanine with specific binding ability to integrin αvβ3 was chosen as a potent bio-nano probe for imaging. IA was conjugated to avidin (Av) to increase its receptor-binding avidity and to optimize parameters to pre-target αvβ3-expressing tumor. Parameters including conjugation levels, amount of conjugates injected, and injection time intervals between Av-(IA)n and In-111-DOTA-biotin were investigated to optimize tumor-to-blood (T/B) and tumor-to-liver (T/L) ratios in nude mice with s.c. receptor-expressing M21 human melanoma. Mice were imaged 2 hours after In-111-DOTA-biotin injection with a gamma camera. Comparing the level (n) of Av-(IA)n (200 μg) injected, the case of n=10 to 15 produced higher T/B (8.11±4.23) and T/L (1.55±1.42) ratios than the case of n=5. This neovasculature pre-targeting approach using the avidin-biotin system resulted in high tumor-to-background (angiogenic-to-normal)ratios and warrants further studies for assessing the αvβ3 receptor expression in angiogenesis induced by the combined xenografts of implanted tumor and basement membrane matrix scaffold.

        UV/TiO<sub>2</sub> 광촉매반응에 의한 페놀의 분해 특성

        The effects were examined from several conditions of $TiO_2$ photocatalysis reaction to phenols degradation by changing it's reacting conditions such as phenol concentration, pH, $TiO_2$ concentration, $H_2O_2$ concentration, flow rate, and intensity of ultraviolet rays. Phenol degradation was more efficient in low concentration of phenol, neutral pH. Phenol degradation appeared to increase as concentration of $TiO_2$ photocatalyst, that of $H_2O_2$ and intensity of ultraviolet rays increased. As $TiO_2$ dosage increased, initial rate constant k linearly increased. When $H_2O_2$ was injected more than optimum, phenol removal rate didn't increase in proportional to the change of $H_2O_2$ concentration as OH radicals was being consumed. When flow rate is less than $4.75m^3/m^2$ day, phenol removal efficiency appeared to decrease as ultraviolet rays transmission rate becomes low by $TiO_2$ suspension coated in photo reaction column. Meanwhile, initial rate constant according to light intensity change in less than $25mW/cm^2$ appeared to be in proportion to light intensity ($mW/cm^2$) Removal efficiency decreased about 12% after 180 minutes of reaction time while showed stable removal efficiency of 100% after 300 minutes when using regenerated $TiO_2$.

        의류용 세제의 환경오염 및 안전성에 대한 태도 연구 : 전주·군산을 중심으로 centering around Jeonju·Gunsan

        This study analyzed the results of the survey on the actual condition and the attitude in using laundry detergents of housewives in Jeonbuk region centering around Jeonju?Gunsan. The purpose of this study is to give more reasonable and scientific clothing management and to help to solve the problems of the environmental pollution caused by laundry detergents. Both Jeonju(71.4%) and Gunsan(71.0%) got information about environmental pollution through mass media like TV and Radio. As for the degree of recognition of regenerated soap, comparing with the synthetic detergent, most people thought that the regenerated soap had better detergency, less water pollution, and less harm to the human being than the synthetic detergent. Accordingly, it showed they misconceived it. It showed that the aged consumers in Jeonju and Gunsan had all good attitudes for the practice. As roles of consumers toward the problems of environmental pollution, the respondents who thought that the consumers roles were important took high percentage(Jeonju 86.8% and Gunsan 84.5%). In conclusion, they showed high degree of concerns in the recognition of necessity about the proper use of detergent, however, low in their attitudes in real life applications.

        Recend Research Trends in Meta-analysis

        The use of meta-analysis (MA), which is placed on top of the evidence hierarchy, in studies has been increasing exponentially. MA has three effect size families. Using the category of effect size families, this paper introduces the important points in the MA process and highlights the recent research trends in this field, such as network MA, meta-analytic structural equation modeling, and diagnostic test accuracy MA. Several reporting standards were established for primary studies and MA. The critical assessment reviews demonstrated that the current quality of nursing MA reporting was low. The problematic areas of the current nursing MA include study search, study selection, risk of bias, publication bias, and additional analysis based on quality assessment. Directions for future research are also presented in this paper.

        USN 환경을 위한 공간 센서 데이타베이스 시스템의 설계 및 구현

        일반적으로 비공간 센서 데이타뿐만 아니라 공간 센서 데이타를 동시에 사용하는 유비쿼터스 센서 네트워크 (USN) 환경을 위해서는 이러한 센서 데이타를 효율적으로 관리하는 센서 데이타베이스 시스템은 매우 중요하다. 이러한 이유에서 Tiny DB, Cougar 등과 같은 다양한 센서 데이타베이스 시스템들이 연구되고 있다. 그러나, 이들 대부분은 공간 센서 데이타 처리를 위한 공간 데이타 타입과 공간 연산자를 지원하지 않기 때문에 공간 센서 데이타를 처리하는데 어려움이 존재한다. 그러므로, 본 논문은 USN 환경에서 공간 센서 데이타에 대한 효율적인 관리를 위해 TinyDB를 확장하여 공간 센서 데이타베이스 시스템을 설계 및 구현하였다. 특히 공간 센서 데이타베이스 시스템은 공간 데이타 타입과 공간 연산자를 지원하고, 공간 데이타 스트림으로 인해 발생하는 시스템 부하를 줄이기 위해서 메모리 관리 기능과 필터링 기능 등을 제공한다. 마지막으로, 수행 시간, 정확도, 메모리 사용량 등 다양한 성능 평가를 통해 공간 센서 데이타베이스 시스템이 기존 TinyDB에 비해 성능이 우수하다는 것을 증명하였다. For the USN(Ubiquitous Sensor Network) environment which generally uses spatial sensor data as well as aspatial sensor data, a sensor database system to manage these sensor data is essential. In this reason, some sensor database systems such as TinyDB, Cougar are being developed by many researchers. However, since most of them do not support spatial data types and spatial operators to manage spatial sensor data, they have difficulty in processing spatial sensor data. Therefore, this paper developed a spatial sensor database system by extending TinyDB. Especially, the system supports spatial data types and spatial operators to TinyDB in order to manage spatial sensor data efficiently and provides the memory management function and the filtering function to reduce the system overload caused by sensor data streams. Lastly, we compared the processing time, accuracy, and memory usage of the spatial sensor database system with those of TinyDB and proved its superiority through the performance evaluation.
