A Junction Box (electrical distribution box) is electrical equipment assembled by components such as bus bars, relays, and fuses to control the electric current flow in electrical devices. Joule heat is generated in the components because of electrical bulk resistance and electrical contact resistance. Several overheated parts can be damaged during a operation. This study presents a methodology for simulating the transient temperature distribution of buss bars, electrical relays and a junction box. The finite element formulation of a coupled electric-thermal problem, which includes the effect of Joule heating is reviewed for the simulation. A FEA (Finite Element Analysis) and experiments involving the bus bar, relay and junction box are conducted to investigate their effect on the temperature distribution. The temperature distributions of these obtained through the FEA are compared with those obtained via experiments to verify the accuracy of the FEA procedure.

This paper presents the power quality assessment of Vestas 600kW wind turbine generation system which is located in Haeng-Won wind farm in Jeju. By the standard of IEC 61400-21 issued on the power quality of wind power generation measurement and assessment are completed. Finally it is shown that there are power factor and voltage harmonic problem in the bin of low wind speed.
도전성지주에 평행한 반파장 Dipole Antenna의 전류분포

도전성지주가 '안테나'의 방사에 주는 영향을 고찰하기 위하여 Dipole '안테나'를 도전성지주에 매우 가까히 놓고 여진하였을 경우의 전류의 분포를 해석 및 실측하였으며 양자가 잘 일치함을 확인하였다. On clarifing radiations from antenna, it is necessary to consider the contribution of the current distribution on te conductive supporter. The expression has not only analized the total radiative current distribution on the dipole antenna and its conductive supporter, in case when the former was placed closely and in parallel to the latter, but also shown the results of practical experiment.
