In this paper, the structure and the operational principle of the High Electron Mobility Transistor(HEMT) known to be the superfast transistor are precisely analyzed. The structure of HEMT's is basically constituted with the AlGaAs/GaAs heterojunction. Thus, the fabrication method of this heterostructure is inspected and the contribution of each layer to HEMT's operation is presented. The analyzed HEMT's structure and the presented operational principle would be a theoretical basement in developing simulation models for characterisitics of HEMT's.
통신시스템을 위한 CMOS class-AB 전력증폭기의 설계에 관한 연구

In this paper, an efficient CMOS class-AB power amplifier for telecommunication systems is designed. Applying the new cascoded compensation technique with optimized circuit parameters, this amplifier is stable for any capacitive load. For it, the mathmatical analysis for the stability of this amplifier for various capacitive loads and an approach for controlling the worst case phase margin are presented. Using the 0.8㎛ CMOS design rule, simulation results show the open-loop gain of 80dB and the unity gain frequency of 100MHz.

The goal of this paper is to design the stabilization circuit needed to find the auto-control method of D.C. bias for staying in maximum dynamic ranges of broadband mach-zehnder inherent electrooptical modulators. The optical communication systems play the main role in the communication networks of information society. And increasing the domestic use of broadband B-lSDN, it is needed to use the broadband characteristics of optical fibers effectively. The electrooptical integrated modulators based on the low-loss optical evaluated to the important device capable of the high efficiency and the broadband for electrooptical systems. On the case of constituting the multiple network including the time division, and the coherent method, this electrooptical high-speed device is to be necessary. And compared with the advanced foreign countries where already developed the commercial devices, it is necessary to study and develop these devices. The phase mismatching, dispersion, and electrode loss, etc, limit the modulation band of electrooptical modulators. And movement of modulator Q-point causes the 2nd harmonics of output signals, thus the stable characteristics of electrochemical modulators may not be expected.
개선된 Miller 주파수 보상 기법을 이용한 CMOS Op-amp 설계에 관한 연구

In this paper, a CMOS operational amplifier is designed. Each role of building blocks which compose the operational amplifier and the frequency compensation technique are studied. The size of transistor is calculated and compared with the simulation results. Using the 0.8um CMOS design rule, simulation results show the open loop gain of 75dB and the unity gain frequency of 6.2MHz.
고주파 및 마이크로파 RFID 시스템에 사용하기 위한 CMOS 브리지 정류기의 설계

In this paper, a CMOS bridge rectifier for HF and microwave RFID systems is presented. The proposed RFID CMOS bridge rectifier is composed with two NMOSs and two PMOSs whose gates are all commonly connected to the antenna. The simulation results obtained with SPICE show the well rectified and high enough DC output voltages for frequencies of 13.56㎒, 915㎒, and 2.45㎓ which are used in various RFID systems. The obtained DC output voltages are sufficient for driving the microchip in RFID Transponders.
어떠한 저항성 부하에도 효율적인 CMOS Class-AB Op-Amp의 설계

In this paper, an efficient CMOS class-AB op-amp for any resistance loads is presented. Its output stage comprises an elementary shunt stage driven by a transconductor block and performs a class AB operation with 1.5V supply voltages. Simulation results show the efficient and high performance characteristics for these low supply voltages. At 1.5V, the designed op-amp demonstrates a dc open-loop gain of 64dB or 80dB and a phase margin of 66°or 60°for 1㎘ ∥ 150pF or 1MΩ∥ 150pF loads, respectively. Therefore, it may be used as the general-purpose amplifiers for any resistance loads and adapted to the functional block for various analog systems.

A 3-dimensional multimedia database for mountaineering information service is designed and implemented. The developed system provides the user with the useful mountaineering information by real-time through the super highway information communication network. The public can access the mountaineering information freely to contribue to the development of the leisure sports and natural and environmental protection through the super highway information communication network. And, we develop the 3-dimensional rendering and navigation corresponding to the provided mountaineering map, so the landscape of mountain is recognized easily.
RF 통신용 IC 설계를 위한 MOSFET의 소신호 모델

In this paper, a MOSFET small-signal model for RF communication IC design is proposed. For accurately predicting the RF behavior of MOSFET's, the RF equivalent circuit model including the capacitance effect, the skin effect, and the proximity effect between metal lines on the Si surface is developed. The simulation results with SPICE are compared to the BSIM 3v3, other models, and the measured data for verifying the accuracy of the proposed model. The proposed small-signal model shows better agreements with the measured data than the BSIM 3v3 and other models, and shows well the frequency dependent behavior and the bias dependence of y-parameters of MOSFET's in GHz ranges
브랜드 가치에 따른 음식점 인증에 대한 인증 신념과 대체재가 고객신뢰에 미치는 영향

Restaurant certifications have been used for appropriate information to customers. Certification plays a role of balancing information asymmetry between customers and restaurant owners. Especially, policy makers expected the effect of certification is better in small and low brand equity restaurants. However, its influence has not been paid much attention by researchers. Further, recently there is a rapid growth of various certifications in Korea. Most of them were not hygiene certification and its effectiveness is not clearly answered. This study developed customer attitude toward restaurant certification and investigated the influence of certification to customer trust. We found that the attitude toward certification was consisted of two factors: certification belief and certification substitute. This study found that customers are more depending on information from bran equity. The positive effect of certification belief is significantly lower in low brand equity restaurants. On the other hand, customers used their heuristic such as looking up restaurant and kitchen only when they are dinging at low brand equity restaurants. This certification substitute was not significant in high brand equity restaurant. Consequently, restaurant certification is not working well as much as what we expected.
