Intravascular fasciitis (IVF), a rare distinct variant of nodular fasciitis, possesses the same clinical and histologcal features of nodular fasciitis, but in addition, involves predominantly small to medium- sized veins and/or arteries intraluminally, intramurally and extramurally. Only 3 cases of intraoral IVF have been reported in the English literature. Herein we report a case of IVF developing on the inner lower lip and it was successfully treated with simple excision.

치과위생사의 전문직 자아개념이 노인에 대한 치위생 과정 실천에 미치는 영향: 공감력의 매개효과를 중심으로

Objectives: This study was conducted to understand the effect of dental hygienists' professional self-concept on the practice of dental hygiene, focusing on the mediating effect of empathy in the elderly. Methods: This study was conducted with from the dental hygienists' in some areas of Busan and Gyeongnam. Results: In the relationship between the dental hygienists' professional self-concept and the practice of dental hygiene for the elderly, the results of the empathy mediating effect of the elderly showed that it was completely mediated and meaningful. Conclusions: Dental hygienists recognize the importance and necessity of empathy for the elderly. It is suggested to develop and participate in educational programs that can increase empathy.

이중성에 의한 중력렌즈효과

The fraction of double stars in nearby stars is relatively high. The detection of binary pairs in massive compact halo objects is very rare. However, one may assume that one half of the fraction of massive compact objects in halo of Galaxy could be in binaries. We may then expect gravitational lensing effects between them. Microgravitational lensing would be more probable. The present investigation is performed under the assumption that one binary pair is located very close to the light ray. We also assumed that the mass ratio is 1. The calculation has shown that one could expect magnitude variation in factor of two or less. This yields us that the probability to detect the microlensing events in halo objects is not negligible. The observed light curves are reproduced by using a theoretical binary pair. The occasion of microlensing events in galactic halo would be more probable than what one could expect.

중력렌즈효과에 의한 최대광도변화와 천체물리학적 정보추출

The high amplification events due to gravitational lensing effects are one of the well known observable phenomenon. When source crossing the caustic of the gravitational lens induces the so-called high amplification events (HAE) We have shown that the HAE of the light curves gives us information about the source structure and density distribution of the lensing object, as well Their dependences give us a very useful relationship to figure their physical properties out for any observed lens system.

성인의 구강보건교육경험에 따른 구강건강신념과 OHIP-14의 융합적 관련성

This study was conducted to investigate correlation between oral health belief and oral health-related quality of life (OHIP-14) based on oral health education experience. A survey was conducted on adults living in Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam region. Collected data was analyzed using SPSS 25.0. As a result, adults with oral health education experience had significantly higher scores in subfactors of oral health belief and subfactors of oral health-related quality of life than adults without oral health education experience. There were correlations between factors in oral health education experience, oral health belief, and oral health-related quality of life. Therefore, operating oral health education program by life cycle will promote oral health as well as will help to enhance the importance and necessity of oral health education by improving quality of life. 본 연구는 구강보건교육경험에 따른 구강건강신념과 구강건강관련 삶의 질(OHIP-14) 관련성을 파악하고자 부산, 울산, 경남 지역에 거주하고 있는 성인을 대상으로 설문 조사를 시행하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 25.0 프로그램을 통해 분석한 결과 구강보건교육 유경험자가 구강보건교육 무경험자보다 구강건강신념의 하위요인과 구강건강관련 삶의 질(OHIP-14)의 하위요인 점수가 각각 높게 나타나 유의한 결과가 나타났다. 구강보건교육경험, 구강건강신념과 구강건강관련 삶의 질(OHIP_14)은 요인별로 관련성이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 생애주기별 구강보건 교육프로그램의 운영은 구강건강증진은 물론 삶의 질 향상을 통한 구강보건교육의 중요성 및 필요성 제고에 도움이 될 것이다.

A theoretical framework is persued for investigation of the motion of caustic network produced by two point mass lens. It is shown that the velocity of the caustics corresponds to the frequency of high amplification events. The ghost caustic network also influences to the high amplification events in case of two point mass lens.

약한 중력장에서 빛의 휨

A light ray interacts with a local distribution of matter during its passing through gravitational field. The field is assumed a weak gravitational potential field. We assume that the configuration of that matter does not significantly changed, as photons traveling along the world line. Bending effect of a light ray due to gravitational potential may be examined by the equation of motion in the metric. Since the post Minkowskian metric satisfies the weak field condition, the potential is then treated just like the potential in Newton's theory. The linear approximation leading to the metric is accepted in interpreting the bending effects.

거시중력렌즈와 미시중력렌즈에 의한 중력렌즈효과 비교 분석

Gravitational lensing is a well-known tool to understand astrophysical information, such as density distribution in gravitational lens, dark matter, Hubble constant, and structure of galactic nuclei, etc. Strong effects of lensing have been used in studying them. Strong and weak effects of lensing are macrogravitational lensing, which represents classical gravitational lensing effects. In this note we will review the comparative analysis on macro- and micro-gravitational lensing effects. Some misinterpretation on them and the difference between these two effects would be clarified in context with gravitational lensing theories.

중력렌즈모델에 따른 임계곡선의 형태변화

The caustics of gravitational lens plays an important role to intensify and/or de-intensify the brightness of the lensed images due to gravitational lensing phenomena. It is a well known fact that a source crossing the caustic induces the so-called high amplification events (HAE). In the present study we examine the physical properties of caustics as well as their morphological structure. The calculation is performed for various configuration of point-like n-body lens with an equal mass. The results show that the characteristic of caustics for the n-body is not different from the Chang-Refsdal lens, no matter how many number of lenses are involved in an n-body lens system.

Protective Effect of 0.1% Chlorhexidine Gluconate Solution Pre-rinse against Oral Bacteria and Bacterial Aerosol Contamination during Ultrasonic Scaling

Objectives: This study was conducted to determine the antibacterial effect of 0.1% chlorhexidine gluconate solution (CGS) against oral microorganism and to confirm contamination of personal protective equipment and environment of dental clinic by bacterial aerosol during ultrasonic scaling. Methods: Scaling was performed by a dental hygienist after 0.1% CGS pre-rinse to a total of 18 healthy subjects without oral inflammation. Samples were taken from personal protective equipment and environment to confirm contamination by bacterial aerosol. Results: The most contaminated area with bacterial aerosol was the dental hole towel of patient and followed by the chest, cap, gloves, and dental apron of personal protective equipment. The areas with high CGS pre-rinse effect after scaling were cap, gloves, ultrasonic scaler handle, and dental hole towel. Conclusions: 0.1% CGS pre-rinse is an effective method to consistently reduce the risk of periodontitis and contamination by bacterial aerosol in dental treatment including scaling.
