A characteristic mode analysis of parallel-plate waveguide with finite number of slot as a leaky wav eantenna structure is considered for calculating the characteristics currents, the characteristic patterns, radiatin patterns, and the complex propagation constants. For the cases of 1, 11 and 29 slots, numericl resutls for the equivalent magnetic currents, the radiatin patterns, and thecomplex propagation constants are computed and compared with those obtained by use of the conventional method of moments. Good correspondence between them is observed.

전신성 홍반성 낭창(systemic lupus erythematosus, SLE)은 비정상적으로 증가한 병원성 자가 항체와 면역복합체에 의한 조직 및 세포의 손상을 특징으로 하는 자가 면역성 질환으로, 다양한 자가 항체와 면역복합체는 신장을 포함한 모든 장기를 침범할 수 있다. 신장을 침범한 전신성 홍반성 낭창은 단백뇨, 현미경적 혈뇨, 고혈압과 신기능 이상을 발현할 수 있다. 저자들은 초기 임상적으로 막증식 사 구체신염(membranoproliferative glomerulonephritis, MPGN)의 임상소견으로 발현하여, 검사 상 전신성 홍반성 낭창과 조직학적으로 MPGN 소견을 보인 여자 환아를 경험하였기에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다.

Although the incidence of epidemic encephalitis has decreased markedly nowadays, sporadic cases are still observed in Korea. In this study, CT findings of 17 patients with clinically and serologically proven epidemic encephalitis were analized. In principle, CT scans were done at the acute and subascute stage, within 20 days from onset. The results were follow: 1. Of all 17 patients with CT scan, normal scan were demonstrated in 3 cases and abnormal scans in 14 cases. 2. The abnormal CT findings were ; area of low density in 9 cases, brain edema in 7 cases, nodular and gyral contrast enhancement in 3 cases, central brain atrophy in 3 cases and hemorrhagic high density in 2 cases in order of frequency. 3. The CT findings, according to date of CT scan from onset, were; brain edema and area of low density within 10 days from onset, normal or central brain atrophy between 11 days and 20 days, area of hemorrhagic high density and contrast enhanced lesions at both stage. 4. The locational distributions were ; thalamus and cerebral white matter in 7 cases respectively, basal ganglia in 5 cases, cerebral cortex in 4 cases and septum pellucidum in 1 case in order of frequency. 5. The correlation between CT findings and prognosis; although the prognosis in cases with the CT findings of normal or only central brain atrophy is good, the prognosis in cases with other abnormal findings may be depending uon the severity of lesions in the brain. Perhaps with long- tern follow up, the CT scan may become more definite in prognosis.
