        알레르기에 대한 미역줄나무의 물 추출물의 효과

        N/A Objective : To evaluate effect of allergy by Tripterygiwn regelii (TR), the biochemical changes associated with allergy were measured in BALF. serum splenocyte and lung of mice. Methods : After induction of allergic inflammation asthma by treatment of ovalbumine, water extracts from stem and leaf (SL) or flower (FL) of TR were taken orally for five successive days on mice, respectively. Result : In the total cell of BALF. the SL-TR extract (lCKhwk, h.w)-treated group was significantly reduced compared to control level and the reduction of eosinophil showed significantly at concentraton of 360 and loo0 dks, b.w. On the other hand, substantial decrease in IgE antibody formation was significantly observed by administration with SL-TR extract, whereas IgGZa was not affected. IgCl antibody formation appeared to be decreased inserum from SL-TR treated mice(l000 mg/kg, b.w). The content of IL-4 exhibited physiological role in splenocyte and lung was significantly reduced in the examined group compared to that of control after treatment of SL-TR extract(l@X/kg, b.w). In the case of IL-5, however, it was significantly reduced by FL-TR extract. In addition, IL-5 content in splenocyte was significantly reduced at concentration of 360 and loo0 d k g . b.w. by SL-TR dose, respxtively, and that of lung was significantly reduced dose-dewndently(l20, 360 and 1000mp/kg, b.w). Cnnclusion : It could be conduded that TripteTygiwn regelii showed beneficial effect on the allergic asthma and especially, its leaf and stem is more effective than flower.

        조개나물 추출물의 세포독성과 항균효과

        This study was carried out to evaluate cytotoxic effects of Ajuga multiflora Bunge extracts on murine leukemia tumor $(P388D_1)$ cell lines. Disruptions in cell organelles were determined by 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyl-2H-tetrazoliumbromide (MTT) assay. The comparison of $IC_{50}$ values of Ajuga multiflora Bunge extracts in L1210 and $P388D_1$ cell lines showed that their susceptibility to these extracts decreased in the following order: Adriamycin>methanol extract>chloroform extract>ethyl acetate extract>hexane extract>water extract by the MTT assay. In order to develop an antimicrobial agent, dried Ajuga multiflora Bunge was extracted with several solvents, and then antimicrobial activity was investigated. The minimal inhibitory concentration (MIC) of the extract against microorganisms were also examined. Antimicrobial activities of amocla and ketoconazole as references were compared to those of extracts of $H_2O$, n-hexane, chloroform, ethyl acetate and methanol. The antimicrobial activity of all extracts from the sample had growth inhibition activity against gram-negative bacteria, gram-positive bacteria and fungi $(MIC>200\;{\mu}g/ml)$. These results suggest that the methanol soluble extract of Ajuga multiflora Bunge may be a valuable choice for the studies on the treatment of murine leukemia tumor cell lines.

        韓國産 玄蔘科 植物에 關한 本草學的 硏究

        For the purpose of developing Korean Herbalogy with the plants of Scrophulariaceae which grow wild and is planted in Korea, the these and writings on herbalogy, from literature of successive generations, have been thoroughly investigative and the results obtained were as follows: 1. There were totaled to 24 genera and 85 species in Korea and among them medicinal plants are 17 genera, 45 species, some 53% in total but, the number of species may be added because of the similiar plants. 2. According to the oriental names which can be used for medical purpose, the medicinal plants belonging to the Scophulariaceae family were classified as Herba 19, Radix 4, Foilum 3, Flos, Rhizoma, Fructus 2 each. Thus it was noticed that Herba was the main kind. 3. According to sum of 85 species in Scrophulariaceae family, they were classified into Veronica genera 22, Pedicularis genera 14, Melampyrum genera 7, Euphrasia genera 6, Scrophularia genera 5, Limnophila genera, Lindernia genera, Mazus genera, Veronicastrum genera 3 each. Thus it was noticed that Veronica genera was the main kind, some 25% in total. 4. According to the number of species of the origin plants about each chinese materia medicals, they were classified into RADIX SCROPHULARIAE 5, HERBA VERONICAE, HERBA PEDICULARIS 4 each. Ths the origin plants was not complexed reletively. 5. According to nature and flavour of medicinal plants, they were classified into warmth, heat; 10 each, cold,cold; 13 each, balance 2. Ths it was noticed that cold and cool is the main in nature and flavour of medicinal plans. 6. According to the Properties and Principal curtive action, they were classified into Drugs for removing toxic heat with febrifugal and detoxicant diaphoretics 7, to remove evil heat and resolve dampness 6, tonify the blood 3, to promote or activate blood circulation by removing blood stasis, to dispel pathogenic heat from blood with drugs cold in property, to stop bleeding drugs 2 each. Thus it was noticed that Febrifugal and detoxicant drugs was the main kind. 7. Comparing to whole medicinal plants 45 kinds, toxic drug was 1 kind, 2% of the whole. Thus toxic drugs were rare. From this result, it was revealed that the plants for medical purpose in Scrophulariaceae was 53% of the whole, in which Herba was mostly abundunt and toxic plants was so rare that it will be used for clinical treatments more easily. It is considered that many experiements and clinical approaches must be continued to use Scrophulariaceae plants widely.

        韓國産 가지과 植物에 관한 本草學的 硏究

        For the purpose of developing Korean Herbalogy with the plants of Solanceae which grow wild and is planted in Korea, the these and writings on herbalogy, from literature of successive generations, have been throughly investigative and the results obtained were as follows: 1. There were totaled to 13 genera and 26 species in Korea and among them medicinal plants are 11 genera, 19 species, some 73% in total but, the number of species may be added because of the similiar plants. 2. According to the oriental names which can be used for medical purpose, the medicinal plants belonging to the Solanaceae family were classified as Radix 8, Fructus 8, Herba 6 ,Foilum 5, Semen 3, Lignum and Flos 2. 3. According to sum of 26 species in Solanaceae family, they were classified into Solanum genera 8, Physalis and Capsicum genera 3 each, Datura and Nicotiana genera 2 each. Thus it was noticed that Solanum genera was the main kind, some 30% in total. 4. According to the number of species of the origin plants about each chinese materia medicals, they were calssified into HERBA SOLANI LYRATI 3, FRUCTUS CAPSICI and FLOS DATURAE 2 each. 5. According to nature and flavour of medicinal plants, they were classified into cold, cool; 17 each,warmth,heat; 8 each, balance 5 and unidentified 6. Thus it was noticed that cold and cool is the main in nature and flavour of medicinal plants. 6. According to the Properties and Principal curative action, they were classified into Drugs for treating febrifugal and detoxicant 14, Drugs for relieving pain 7, Antitussives . Diuretics . Drugs for invigorating blood circulation. Tonics 4 each, Anthelmintics 3. 7. Comparing to whole medicinal plants 19 kinds, toxic drugs include minor toxin were 3 kinds, 16% of the whole. From this result, It was revealed that the plants for medical purpose in Solanaceae was 73% of the whole, in which RADIX and FRUCTUS were abundunt. It is considered that many experiments and clinical approaches must be continued to use Solanaceae plants widely.

        鹿蹄草 煎湯液 投與가 마우스의 免疫媒介 炎症反應 및 免疫細胞의 機能에 미치는 影響

        This study was carried out to know the effects of Herba Pyrolae on the immune-inflammatio and the function or immunocytes of the mouse. To analyse the in vivo effects of Herba Pyrolae on the innate immunity, phagocytic ability and reactive oxygen intermediates(ROIs) formatio of the [eritoneal macropharges were measured, and in vivo specific immunities were analysed by measuring the antibody formatio against sheep red blood cells(SRBCs) and contact hypersensitivity reaction(CHR) against dinitrofluorobenzene(DNFB). The effects of Herba Pyrolae on the antibody forming cells were measured by the enumeration of rosette forming cells. The effects of Herba Pyrolae on the target cell killing were mersured by cytotoxicity of natural killer(NK)cells on the YAC-1 cells and of killer(K)cells in the antibody coated target cells. The in vivo effects of Herba Pyrolae adminstration on the immune system could be summerized as follows; 1. The adminstration of Herba Pyrolae enhanced the antibody dependent cellular cytotoxicity of K cells on the antibody-coated target cells. 2. The adminstration of Herba Pyrolae increased the tumor cell killing capacity of the NK cells. 3. The adminstration of Herba Pyrolae enhanced the phagocytic activity of peritoneal macrophages. 4. The adminstration of Herba Pyrolae decreased the CHR against DNFB slightly. 5. The adminstration of Herba Pyrolae enhanced the antibody (hemolysin and hemagglutinin) production against SRBCs. 6. The adminstration of Herba Pyrolae increased the rosette forming cells with SRBC in a dose dependent fashion. 7. The adminstration of Herba Pyrolae enhanced the capacity of phagocytes to produce ROIs slightly in a dose dependent fashion. The above enhancing effects of Herba Pyrolae adminstration on the function of immunocytes without affecting immuno mediated imflammation might be useful for the pervention and treatment of the various immune associated disorder.

        經通草 煎湯液이 家兎의 腎臟機能 및 血漿 Aldosterone 濃度에 미치는 影響

        To evaluate effect of Lignum Aeschynomeni water extract on the renal functions and plasma aldosterone concentration, experiments performed in the rabbit The results obtained were followed : 1. Intravenous administration of Lignum Aeschynomeni water extract at the doses of 0.08㎖/㎏ significantly increased urine volume, glomerular filtration rate and urinary excretion of electrolytes. 2. Intravenous administration of Lignum Aeschynomeni water extract at the doses of 0.8㎖/㎏ remarkably decreased urine volume, free water clearance and glomerular filtration rate. 3. In travenous administratio of Lignum Aeschynomeni water extract at the doses of 0.08㎖/㎏ and 0.8㎖/㎏ significantly decreased plasma aldosterone concentration. These results suggest that Lignum Aeschynomeni water extract at the doses of 0.08㎖/㎏ has a diuretic effect which may be caused by renal hemodynamics and the decrement of aldosterone concentration, and that Anti diuretic effect of large dose may be relateo with Anti diuretic hormone.
