In an effort to prevent the formation of DBPs from disinfection and the microbial regrowth in distribution systems, the ozonation followed by biological filtration process in drinking water treatment train has been recently developed as an alternative process to reduce effectively water-born organic matter as precursor. There are, however, insufficient for the consistent information and data about the relation between ozone dosage based on organic surrogate parameter, TOC or DOC and effect of ozonation on BDOC formation. This study is to review critically for the effect of ozonation on biodegradability on the basis of published technical papers including the output from author's research laboratory. It truned out that : 1. ozonation in the presence of organic matter has a tendancy to increase in BDOC content, 2. the rate of BDOC formation was maximum below 1mg $O_3/mg$ DOC of ozone dose, but about maximum content of BDOC was obtainable at the range from 1.5mg $O_3/mg$ DOC to 2mg $O_3/mg$ DOC, 3. from above 1mg $O_3/mg$ DOC, the rate of BDOC formation became slow down, 4. from above 2mg $O_3/mg$ DOC, BDOC formation was quantitatively negligible, In conclusion, it needs further systematic study and research concerned to biodegradability and treatability by ozonation in terms of organic characteristics and experimental conditions because it was hard to find out the consistent experimental data comparable each other that were performed by numbers of research authors.
수소화물 발생장치와 유도 결합 플라스마 원자화 방출 분광법 이용 시 비소와 셀레늄 및 게르마늄의 신호세기에 대한 NaBH<sub>4</sub>와 HCl의 영향

이 연구는 E-O-V ICP-AES를 이용하여 As, Se, Ge에 대한 분석적 특성을 PN과 USN, 그리고 HG를 이용하여 비교 조사하였다. 특히 세 가지 원소들의 수소화물 형성을 위한 최적의 조건을 찾기 위하여 $NaBH_4$와 HCl의 농도 변화에 대한 신호세기의 영향을 면밀히 조사하여 보았다. 수소화물 발생화 장치를 이용하였을 때가 PN과 USN 이용시 보다 세 가지 원소 모두 훨씬 좋은 감도를 얻을 수 있었고, 그 검출한계는 PN 보다는 약 100배, USN 보다는 약 10배 향상시킬 수 있었다. DE-O-V ICP-AES has been studied for the analytical characteristics of As, Se, and Ge with PN, USN and HG. Effect of $NaBH_4$ and HCl on the signal intensity of As, Se and Ge with HG and E-O-V ICP-AES were closely investigated. The sensitivities of As, Se and Ge with HG were much greater than those with PN and USN. Accordingly, the detection limits of the elements with HG were lower by a factor of 100 and 10 than PN and USN, respectively.

방아깨비, 사마귀, 섬서구메뚜기의 종령유충을 재료로 하여 전자현마경적 관찰을 하였다. Prohemocyte는 세포중 가장 작고 구성비도 낮으며 그 구조상 다른 혈구의 기원이 되는것 같다. Plasmatocyte는 나비류에서 와는 달리 그 형태가 대부분 난형이고 허족과 소기관을 가장 많이 가진다. Granular Cell은 종에 따라 그 형태가 뚜렷이 구분되며 어느 경우나 구성비는 높았다. 같은 세포의 과립이라 할지라도 그 미세구조가 몇 가지로 구분되고 이것은 아마도 축적단계에서 오는 결과인듯 하다. Adipohemocyte 는 방아깨비에서만 나타났고 구성비는 대단히 낮았다. An electron microscopical study on hemocytes of last instar larvae of Orthoptera (Acrida cinerea Thunberg, Paratenodera sinensis De Saussure, Atractomorpha lata Hotschulsk was performed to observe cell types, structures and their origins. Prohemocytes are the smallest round cells with large, nucleus, poorly developed cytoplasmic organelles and lower composition ratio, accouting for less than 1% of all cell types. Little remarked differences were revealed among different species. Plasmatocytes are relatively large cells with higher composition ratio, accounting for 5 to 20%. The majority of the plasmatocytes are oval forms with numerous external cytophismic projections., relatively well developed cytoplasmic organelles. Granular cells are characterized by various granules in cytoplasm. Some considerable remarked differences were revealed among different species. Furthermore the granules themselves differ in fine structures. Adipohemocytes were found only in Acrida cinerea Thunberg.
