군 복지시설의 지열시스템과 태양열시스템 경제성 평가 사례 연구

본 연구는 군 복지시설인 육군 OO회관에 신 재생에너지 중 태양열 및 지열시스템을 적용했을 때, 각각의 효율성과 경제성을 분석하여 그 성능을 평가하였다. 연구 대상 건물은 철근콘크리트구조로서 건물 규모가 지하 1층 지상 3층이며 연면적이 약 2,917$m^2$인 건물이다. 건물의 용도는 목욕탕, 식당, 객실 및 사무실이며, 연간 냉 난방 에너지 소비량 판단 및 분석을 위해 e-Quest 시뮬레이션을 이용하였다. 신 재생에너지 적용에 대한 경제성 평가는 RETScreen 시스템을 이용하였다. 단, 신 재생에너지 시스템 사용은 연구대상 건물을 표준공사비로 판단했을 때 공사비의 5% 범위내로 한정하였다. 신 재생 에너지시스템 적용시 태양열시스템은 급탕용으로, 지열시스템은 냉방용으로 하였다. 연구결과 태양열시스템이 지열시스템보다 효과적이었다. 지열시스템은 투자비 상환시점이 약 16년 6개월 이후인 반면, 태양열시스템은 약 3년 11개월 이후에 가능한 것으로 판단되었다. 향후 화석에너지의 고갈과 지구온난화 등의 문제 해결을 위한 방안으로서 신 재생에너지의 이용 확대가 예상되며, 이에 군에서도 안정적인 에너지 수급을 위해 지속적인 발전이 되길 기원한다. This study is to analyze the performance of SWH(Solar Water Heating) and GSHP(Ground Source Heat Pump) systems by evaluating their energy efficiency and LCC(Life Cycle Cost) as being applied to the OO hall as a selected building in the Army. The OO hall, used as bathrooms, dining rooms, accommodations and offices, has reinforced concrete structure system with three floors above the ground and one underground, and its total floor area is approximately 2,917$m^2$. Two energy simulations are conducted to predict the yearly cooling and heating energy of the selected building: One is for analysis of an air-conditioning energy consumption using the e-Quest program, and another is for two new-renewable energy facilities as a water heating source using the RETScreen. The installed capacity of two new-renewable energy facilities is determined according to the 5% level of total standard construction cost. As a briefly result, SWH system is more energy-effective than GSHP system. Considering the break-even point, it is expected that SWH can take only 3 years 11 months to pay for itself in savings while the investment of GSHP can be recovered in more than 16 years 6 months.

Anti-wrinkle Compounds Isolated from the Seeds of Arctium lappa L.

본 연구에서는 우방자를 70% 에탄올로 추출하여 얻어진 추출물을 n-hexane, methylene chloride, ethyl acetate로 순차용매 분획하였다. 각 분획물에 대해 activity-guided isolation을 수행하여 활성물질의 분리 정제를 실시하였다. 활성을 나타내는 물질은 silica gel chromatography (230 mesh), sephadex LH 20, recrystallization method를 이용하여 분리하였다. 각 화합물의 화학구조는 NMR 스펙트럼 데이터 해석하였고 arctiin, arctigenin, diarctigenin, matairesinol 으로 동정하였다. 이들을 human dermal fibroblast HS68 세포에 처리하여 얻어진 상등액은 ELISA kit를 활용하여 procollagen type Ⅰ생합성과 MMP-1 저해활성을 측정하였다. 측정결과 procollagen type Ⅰ생합성과 MMP-1 저해활성 결과 모두 arctiin이 가장 우수한 결과를 보였다. 이와 같은 결과를 통해 우방자에서 분리한 리그난 화합물들을 이용하여 주름개선 소재로 개발할 수 있을 것으로 사료 된다. This study was carried out to discover the skin wrinkle reducing components in the seeds of Arctium lappa. The isolation of a methylene chloride-soluble fraction of 70% ethanol extract from the seeds of Arctium lappa using a procollagen type-1 synthesis and MMP-1 activity resulted in the isolation and identification of four lignin compounds: arctiin, arctigenin, matairesinol, and diarctigenin. All structures were confirmed via NMR and MS spectroscopic data. To determine cell viability and procollagen type-1 synthesis, human dermal fibroblasts were treated with 10-100 μM. As a result, none of the four compounds showed cytotoxicity up to 50 μM. We also investigated their procollagen type-1 synthesis and MMP-1 inhibition activity and found that arctiin had the highest activity in terms of both procollagen synthesis and MMP-1 inhibition among all four compounds. Putting all the data together, we suggest that arctiin be used in cosmetics as an anti-wrinkle material.
Immunoglobulin Binding Protein 1 as a Potential Urine Biomarker in Patients with Lupus Nephritis

<P>We evaluated the role of immunoglobulin binding protein 1 (IGBP1), a phosphoprotein associated with the B cell receptor (BCR) complex, as a urine biomarker in lupus nephritis (LN). The IGBP1 concentrations in plasma and urine of patients with LN, systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) without nephritis and healthy controls were estimated by ELISA. IGBP1 expression in the kidneys of LN patients and transplantation donors was detected by immunohistochemistry. Microarray-based global gene expression profile of HK-2 cells with IGBP1 knock-down and fluorescence-activated cell sorting (FACS) for intracellular IGBP1 expression in human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) was performed. Urine IGBP1 levels were elevated significantly in LN patients, and it correlated with the clinical activity indices (complement 3 (C3) level, anti-dsDNA antibodies titer, SLE Disease Activity Index-2000 (SLEDAI-2K) and histological activity index. IGBP1 expression was increased in LN patients as compared to the donors and was detected mainly in the tubules by histopathology. In microarray analysis, several genes related to SLE pathogenesis (PPME1, ROCK2, VTCN1, IL-17R, NEU1, HLA-DM, and PTX3) responded to siRNA-mediated IGBP1 silencing. In FACS, IGBP1 was expressed mainly in the CD14+ cells. The overall expression of IGBP1 in PBMCs was higher in LN patients as compared with that in SLE patients without nephritis. Conclusively, urinary IGBP1 may be a novel biomarker reflecting the clinical and histological activities in LN.</P>
