      • 담수표면 직파재배 펠렛종자의 파종 및 초기생육 특성

        In spite of labor saving in rice cultivation, the main factors preventing the enlargement of the direct wet seeding culture are unstable seedling establishment and greater susceptibility to lodging. In order to solve these problems, developed rice-seed pellets were investigated on sowing and early growth characteristics of seed pellet. Seed shifting, flooding seedling, and lodging of seeding percentage of pellet seed were lover than pregerminated or dry seed. Soil thickness covering seed of pellet seed was 2 ㎜ and shifting width of seed of that was 1.5 ㎝. Establishment percentage of pellet seed was the highest in 0 ㎝ of seeding depth. Early plant height, root length, number of leaf and root of pellet seed with seeding time were similar to those of dry seed.

        With the change of patterns and the environment of the national standard of living the problem of environmental pollution became increasingly seriouse. Because of the enormous increase of various kinds of used and (after utilization) useless articles, efforts to save resources as well as the environment and the promotion of reprated utilization and recycling are inavoidable. We easily withess that envionmental issue is very critical point to affuence upon a restructuring the value system of human being. Therefore it is obvironmental issue affluence upon the field of design as well. The most important feature of environmental issue is 'wholenss' in itself. It means that we have to approach and to solve it as a whole. Also, design is to be done at the same way. The creative professionalism of design could provide a club to solve the problem, but designers are tend to seek a solution in a just partial way such as recycling and packaging. But those attitude many cause more problems and spread it futhennore. Therefore the study is to some factors in order to solve the problem as a whole, and to suggest a appropriate methods according to such a view point. Even internal retrospect in design itself or external demand from the other, if we look away this issue, the real purpose of design, contributing for socity, should be diluted by ourselves

      • 배경과 물체 영역 분리를 통한 움직임 감지 시스템

        This paper investigates as follows. To heighten the record of watching system and the efficiency of detection, image treatment has been applied, which makes sufficient allowances for features of detection image. For this, searching system is designed, which divides image into background area and object area to detect. Suggested image system receives image from a CCD camera and then abstracts background image to be detected and object area to detect. By recording it as static image when any moving object is caught, this image system investigated here makes it possible to search detection image efficiently when needed. Thus, it can be searched by time and place.

        In this paper, it was presented that broadly delivered scanner devices can also used in fingerprint recognition process and then modified existing steps of fingerprint image processing. First, using the adaptive binary method, that effect was certified already, increased the effect of the results. And then, applying table mapping methods that looks for elements from look-up table, decreased the processing time, too. Finally, it was presented that ridge-direction characteristics extracted from these processes can used effectively in the area of fingerprint recognition system.

      • 미국 에너지 시장에 공급되는 바이오에너지에 관한 연구(Ⅰ) : 바이오매스 전기 생산 및 제조 기술에 대하여 Biomass Supply, Bioenergy Generation Technologies, and Production Cost

        본 연구에서는 최근 미국 에너지 시장에서 바이오에너지가 차지하는 위치와 공급상황에 대하여 조사 연구하였다. 특히 제 1 보에서는 미국에서 실용화되고 있는 목질 바이오매스를 이용한 바이오매스 전기제조기술(직접 연소 발전, 산업체의 폐열발전, 가스터빈과 스팀터빈 연합 발전 및 모듈화된 발전시스템 등) 및 전기생산 시설 및 공급가의 경제성등에 대하여 검토하였고, 제 2보에서는 바이오매스 전기에 대한 미국의 정책 및 마케팅전략, 그리고 바이오매스 전기 사용이 가져오는 환경적, 경제적 이익 및 장애요인(Benefit and Barriers) 등에 대하여 조사 연구하였다. The current status of biomass energy in the United States was reviewed in the contexts of its share in the total energy use, technologies of energy generation, production cost, the policy support, and marketing strategy. Discussions on environmental and economic benefits and barriers of biomass energy were also presented. The first half of the paper was presented in this report, covering biomass supply, biomass-fired energy generation technologies, capital investment, and production cost. Biomass energy policy, marketing strategy, and environmental and economic benefit and barriers over fossil or atomic-based energy will be presented in the next volume.

      • 치아미백제가 치과용 심미수복재의 색상에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of commercial home tooth bleaching agent application on the color of esthetic restorative materials. In order to evaluate the effect of intraoral aging of these materials(3 composite resins; Palfique Estelite??, Prodigy??, TPH Spectrum??, and 1 compomer ; Dyract??) on the degree of lightness change induced by tooth bleaching agents, each material groups were subdivided (thermocycled and non-thermocycled). Three specimens from each material group were treated with 5 types of bleaching agents (Nite White Excel??, Insta-Brite??, Opalescence??, Plus White?? and StarBrite Contrast_EM??) and evaluated. The results were as follows: 1. Bleaching agent treatments applied to esthetic restorative materials which were not thermocycled before the treatment induced various ΔL^* values as low as lesser than 1 and as high as greater than 4. On the other hand, the second material group (thermocycled before bleaching agent treatments) induced ΔL^* values lesser than 2, except in the case of Insta-Brite treated Dyract group. 2. In the grups that were thermocycled before bleaching agent treatment, Prodigy showed the lowest increase in L^* by all the bleaching agent treatments. Conversely, Dyract demonstrated a higher increase in L^* than the other esthetic restorative materials by Insta-Brite, Opalescence, Plus White bleaching agent treatments. 3. In the groups that were not thermocycled before bleaching agent treatment, Prodigy showed a lower increase in L^* when treated with Nite White Excel, Insta-Brite, Opalescence. On the other hand, TPH Spectrum displayed a higher increase in L^* except when treated with Plus White. These results demonstrated that all commercial tooth bleaching agents have appreciable bleaching effect on teeth, and induces color changes on restorative materials to varying degrees depending on the combination of restorative material and the tooth bleaching agents. More caution should be taken concerning these effects in the case of recently restored esthetic materials.

      • 中山間地(標高 250m)에서 참깨 播種適期와 晩播限界期에 關한 硏究

        In order to determinate the optimum plating time and its limitation, an eary harvest and high yeld sesame varety-Poong Nyun Ggae-was cultivated on the semi-mountainous area of 250 meter above sea level. The variety was cultivated with a single and double cropping system. The single cropping plots were covered with transparent polyethylene film on 1st , 11th and 21th in May and the double cropping plots were covered with PE film on 5th, 15th, 25th in June respectively and on 5th July. The results obtained are as follows; Yield of the plot planted on 1st May was 59kg/10a. In compaorisn with this, yields were increased 16% and 25% in plots planted on 11th and 21th May, respectively. The optimum planting time was considered near 20th May for the single cropping system and it should be considered before 15th June for the double cropping system in the semimountainous area.

        치과용 고무인상재의 영구변형 및 압축시 변형률

        This study investigated the permanent deformation of dental rubber impression materials in order to evaluate their degree of recovery from displacement during removal through undercut area. We also investigated the stain in compression in order to evaluate the materials' flexibility during removal from the month, or during removal of the cast from the impression. Additional silicone, polyether, and polysulfied rubber impression materials were tested for their properties of permanent deformation and strain in compression according to the testing methods of the ADA specificaltion no. 19. 1.The permanent deformation values were as follows: polysulfide (2.25%), polyether (2.14%), and additional silicone (0.28∼1.21%, 2.38% for Perfect F). Examix, Express and Provil, which are additional silicone rubbers, showed lower permanent deformation values of 0.29%, 0.28% and 0.34%, respectively. Perfect F, although it is an additional silicone rubber, showed the highest permanent deformation value (2.38%) within the tested materials. 2.The strain in compression values were as follows: polysulfide (10.63%), additional silicone (2.88∼10.09%), and polyether (2.38%). The additional silicone rubber samples showed various values. Contrary to our expectations, it is also notable that Vinylate, which is used when taking an one-step impression, had higher stain in compression value (10.09%) than the light body impression materials even though it is classified as a heavy body material. Express (a.s.) had a low strain in compression (2.88%) which is similar to that (2.83%) of Impregum F (p.e.). In light body rubber materials, Permlastic had the highest value (p.s. 10.63%), followed by Perfect F (a.s. 7.38%), Correct VPS (a.s. 7.13%), Examix (a.s. 6.04%), Provil (a.s. 3.82%) and Express (a.s. 2.88%). Although the tested materials showed various values, all of them satisfied the requirements of A.D.A. Specification No. 19, which require that permanent deformation be less than 2.5%, and strain in compression be between 2∼20%.
