Background: Maladaptation to vascular, metabolic, and physiological changes during pregnancy can lead to fetal growth disorders. Moreover, adverse outcomes during pregnancy can further increase the risk of cardiovascular and metabolic diseases in mothers. Delivering a large-for-gestational-age (LGA) baby may indicate a pre-existing metabolic dysfunction, whereas delivering a small-for-gestational-age (SGA) baby may indicate a pre-existing vascular dysfunction. This study aims to assess the risk of hypertension (HTN) and diabetes mellitus (DM) in women with normal body mass index (BMI) scores who did not experience gestational DM or hypertensive disorders during pregnancy based on the offspring’s birthweight. Methods: This retrospective nationwide study included women with normal BMI scores who delivered a singleton baby after 37 weeks. Women with a history of DM or HTN before pregnancy and those with gestational DM or hypertensive disorders, were excluded from the study. We compared the risk of future maternal outcomes (HTN and DM) according to the offspring’s birthweight. Multivariate analyses were performed to estimate the hazard ratio (HR) for the future risk of HTN or DM. Results: A total of 64,037 women were included in the analysis. Of these, women who delivered very LGA babies (birthweight > 97th percentile) were at a higher risk of developing DM than those who delivered appropriate-for-gestational-age (AGA) babies (adjusted HR = 1.358 [1.068–1.727]), and women who delivered very SGA babies (birthweight < 3rd percentile) were at a higher risk of developing HTN than those who delivered AGA babies (adjusted HR = 1.431 [1.181–1.734]), even after adjusting for age, parity, gestational age at delivery, fetal sex, maternal BMI score, and a history of smoking. Conclusion: These findings provide a novel support for the use of the offspring’s birthweight as a predictor of future maternal diseases such as HTN and DM.

<P>Plasmonic metal-semiconductor heteronanostructures with controlled topologies have attracted increasing attention as promising platforms for the efficient conversion of solar to chemical energy. Herein, we describe a novel synthesis route toward the formation of heteronanostructures with plasmonic metal yolks and semiconductor shells, which can enable the enhancement of light harvesting efficiency. Au nanorod-CdS yolk-shell nanostructures with well-defined structural configurations were realized by sulfidation and a subsequent cation exchange reaction with pre-synthesized Au nanorod@Ag core-shell nanostructures. The prepared yolk-shell nanostructures showed superior photocatalytic hydrogen evolution performance under visible light irradiation over their core-shell nanostructured counterparts, CdS hollow nanoparticles, and Au nanorods. A series of mechanistic studies on the photocatalysis distinctly corroborated that the pronounced photocatalytic function of the yolk-shell nanostructures is due to the synergism between the radiative relaxation of the plasmon energy of the Au nanorod yolks and the multiple reflections of the incident light within their voids provided by the yolk-shell structure, which can promote the light absorption of CdS that can drive the photocatalysis. This study can provide a new perspective for designing hetero-nanoarchitectures with intended structures and desired functions.</P>

본 논문에서는 2014년도 청강문화산업대학교 게임 전공의 졸업 작품 프로젝트 중 “Majesty on Sword:위대함이 깃든 검”이라는 액션 게임 개발을 정리한 것이다. 이 게임은 기본 게임이 가지고 있는 단점인 수많은 적들을 한꺼번에 사냥하는 과장된 액션의 지루하고 단순한 패턴에서 벗어나 스킬 시스템의 구현과 캐릭터의 사실적인 액션을 강조하여 기존 액션게임과 어떤 차별점을 두고 개발하였는지 기술한 논문이다.
Selective Tension Apparatus Development of Vibration Membrane for Stereo Speaker Production

<P>In recent years, interest is growing about stereoscopic to the dissemination and development of 3D-TV. However, according to the development of image is also very important to the development of real sound. So recently interest is growing about the stereo sound. It is limited to typical speakers for implementing to stereo speakers. So, recently, has improved sound using flat panel sound. In this study, analyzed apparatus and selected optimum points through the design and CAE (Computer aided engineering) for production of selective tension apparatus of vibration membrane for the flat panel type speaker production. Many tension points offer variety sound environments but it action adverse element in mass production. In this study analyzed through the CAE by designing in tension point location and tension frame for stereo speaker production. CAE was analyzed the optimized conditions using ansys program. The results variously changed parts of affected tension by tension point location or according to the quantity clamped. We selected to optimized tension point and tension frame based on the simulation results. This study is intended to suitable for mass production in the stereo speaker production.</P>
