        야뇨증 환아들의 심리사회적 특성에 대한 다기관 연구 : 행동 및 정서 문제를 중심으로

        Objectives : The aim of this study was to examine the behavioral and emotional problems associated with nocturnal enuresis in Korean children. Methods : Three hundred eighteen children with nocturnal enuresis, together with their parents, completed the Child Behavior Checklist (CBCL), Disruptive Behavior Disorder Scale according to DSM-IV (DBDS), Children's Depression Inventory (CDI), State-Trait Anxiety Inventory for Children (STAIC), and Piers-Harris Children's Self-Concept Scale (PHCSC). Ninety-three normal students were selected as the control group. Results : Compared to the normal control group, the mean scores with regard to the withdrawn, social problems, attention problems, delinquent behavior, aggressive behavior, externalizing problems and total problems profiles were significantly higher in the nocturnal enuresis group according to the CBCL results. The nocturnal enuresis group also scored significantly higher in the ADHD and ODD profiles of the DBDS. The nocturnal enuresis group was more depressed and anxious than the control group according to the results of the CDI and STAI. The mean score of the PHCSC was significantly lower in the nocturnal enuresis group when compared to the normal control group. Conclusion : The results of this study suggest that children with nocturnal enuresis in Korea have clinically relevant behavioral and emotional problems. The findings support the link between nocturnal enuresis and psychopathology in Korean children.

      • 토양환경지도 자료를 이용한 콩밭 토양의 화학성 비교

        It is important to interpret the soil chemical properties in order to effectively manage the farmland. This study was conducted to investigate the soil chemical properties of upland soybean field according to the soil series at 32 upland fields located in the parts of Gangwon-do. Soil sampling sites were selected by using the National Statistics DB and KSIS DB that is a soil environment information system provided by the Rural Development Administration. Soil samples were collected from 0~15 cm of top soil before seeding or transplanting, air-dried, passed through a 2 mm sieve, and analyzed for soil pH, EC, organic matter, available phosphorus (P2O5), exchangeable potassium, exchangeable calcium and exchangeable magnesium. The average chemical properties have exceeded the each nutrient optimum range level of RDA, except the organic matter in experimental soil 2015. And despite application of conventional fertilization, each soil series nutrient contents were change respectively. The results of this study suggest that conventional fertilization should be applied based on the analysis about the amount of accumulated nutrient contents in the soil.

        In order to show the effect of a vast point pollutant source on air quality of Pusan Thermoeletric Power Plant and its surrounding area, air quality around Pusan Thermoeletric Power Plant was simulated by ISCLT-2 which was supplied by EPA. For this purpose the emission amount of SO_2, NO_2 and TSP was calculated and atmospheric stability was classified for a recent decade(1985~1994) in Pusan. A result of the emission amount showed that much amount of NO_2, NO_2 and TSP are emitted from industrial area. It was clear that NO_2 is much emitted from line source and industrial area. And as a result of classification of atmospheric stability, neutral, stable and unstable state were 58%, 24.1% and 17.9%, respectivly. The result of ai quality simulation by ISCLT-2 showed that Pusan Thermoeletric Power Plant is affecting on the increse of 2.0ppb, 3.0ppb and 5.0㎍/㎥, SO_2, NO_2, and TSP respectively at its surrounding area, site A-3 which was located westward 2.2㎞ distance from Plant

        Character Recognition Algorithm using Accumulation Mask

        Learning data is composed of 100 characters with 10 different fonts, and test data is composed of 10 characters with a new font that is not used for the learning data. In order to consider the variety of learning data with several different fonts, 10 learning masks are constructed by accumulating pixel values of same characters with 10 different fonts. This process eliminates minute difference of characters with different fonts. After finding maximum values of learning masks, test data is expanded by multiplying these maximum values to the test data. The algorithm calculates sum of differences of two corresponding pixel values of the expanded test data and the learning masks. The learning mask with the smallest value among these 10 calculated sums is selected as the result of the recognition process for the test data. The proposed algorithm can recognize various types of fonts, and the learning data can be modified easily by adding a new font. Also, the recognition process is easy to understand, and the algorithm makes satisfactory results for character recognition.

      • Feature Extraction Operation for Image Recognition Algorithm

        Feature extraction operation calculates absolute intensity differences in horizontal and vertical directions in the input image. For a given thresholding value, the operation performs filtering operations in order to select only gray valued intensities whose intensities are greater than or equal to the given thresholding value. Feature extraction operation generates output image by combining horizontal and vertical features in the input image.

      • Chaotic Image-data Compression Method for Image Transmission in Multimedia

        본 논문에서는 멀티미디어의 이미지 전송에 있어서 카오스 이론을 이용하는 이미지 압축/복원 알고리즘이 연구된다. 이미지 압축 알고리즘은 먼저 주어진 원본 이미지의 sequence of intensity를 이용하여 sequence of intensity-difference를 만든다. 그리고, sequence of intensity-difference의 크기를 작게 만든 뒤에 이미지 압축 알고리즘은 sequence of intensity-difference를 sequence of code로 바꾼다. 그리고 나서, 이미지 압축 알고리즘은 sequence of code를 만들어 내는 카오스 값을 찾아낸다. 이미지 복원 알고리즘은 이미지 압축 알고리즘이 찾아낸 카오스 값을 이용하여 아무런 이미지의 손상 없이 원본 이미지를 복원시킨다. A chaotic image-data compression algorithm for image transmission in multimedia is developed. The compression procedure first generates a sequence of intensities of the original image and then obtains a sequence of intensity-differences. After degrading the sequence of intensity-differences, the compression procedure converts it into a sequence of codes and then finds a chaotic value that generates the sequence of codes. The decompression procedure can regenerate the original image in a lossless manner.

      • Geometric Approach for Image-Resolution Improvement Using Fractal Interpolation

        본 논문에서는 이미지의 해상도를 향상시키는 기하학적인 방법이 연구된다. 먼저, 입력 이미지의 significant pixel들을 얻기 위해 detection method가 실행된다. 그리고 나서, 이미지의 해상도를 향상시키기 위해 enhancement process가 실행된다. 마지막으로, 해상도가 향상된 새로운 이미지를 만들기 위해 fractal 이론이 도임된다. A geometric approach for image-resolution improvement is developed. A detection method is first given for obtaining significant pixels in the input image. Enhancement process is then performed to increase the image-resolution of the image. After that, fractal interpolation is employed to generate the enhanced version of the input image.

      • Image Processing Algorithm using Horizontal and Vertical Wavelets

        Image processing algorithm utilizes horizontal and vertical wavelet functions to adjust highly fluctuating intensities in the input image. The algorithm first finds highly fluctuating intensities in the image and then calculates relative horizontal and vertical limits. After adjusting those highly fluctuating intensities with corresponding limits, the algorithm generates better output image by updating input image with these adjusted intensity values.

      • Image Coding Algorithm

        A simple and efficient image coding algorithm is developed. The encoding algorithm first scans the input image and then generates the series of brightness of the image. After decomposing the series of brightness several times, the algorithm generates encoding functions, where these functions are used to find an encoding-value that represents the final series of brightness. The decoding algorithm makes the series of brightness using the inverse version of the encoding functions. Finally, the original image is obtained from the series of brightness in reverse way.
