The purpose of this research is to investigate the impacts of gen-Z's perception of consumer-generated content on social media on their travel intention with the mediating role of travel motivation push and pull. An online questionnaire survey of a total of 369 samples was conducted with the participation of gen Z in the most important cities across Vietnam. The model was analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using AMOS program 22 to investigate model relationships and all hypotheses are significant. The findings indicated that gen Z values the usefulness of social media and they use social media for knowledge-seeking (push factor), and this leads to their intention to visit a destination. SEM analysis also reveals that gen Z tends to use social media to find accessibility to any destinations and they are motivated highly with destinations that have clear and easy access, for example, no visa requirement or neighboring destinations. As the result, they have better intentions to visit these destinations. This research will help marketers, especially marketing specialists to gain a better understanding of gen Z, thus implement better marketing techniques to target gen Z.

The environment friendly lifestyle and the green product trend have motivated corporates to develop and adopt sustainable business practices. However, an increasing number of corporations have engaged in greenwashing practices to create the appearance of environmental responsibility. By employing the theory of reasoned action, the paper investigated a model linking corporate greenwashing and consumers’ green purchase intentions with the mediating role of green trust and green word-of-mouth about green electronic devices in Vietnam. Using an online survey via Email, Zalo, and Wechat, data was obtained from 308 Vietnamese consumers who have been purchasing green electronic devices. Based on the responses of the participants from the questionnaires conducted, data analysis was conducted by using SEM in AMOS version 23. This investigation shows that corporate greenwashing negatively affects consumers’ green trust, green word-of-mouth, and their green buying intentions. Additionally, the paper verifies that green trust and green word-of-mouth mediate the relationships between greenwashing and consumers’ green purchase intentions. These results reinforce the extant understanding of greenwashing and its consequences. Finally, the study not only stimulates future research but serves as a reference for business managers, scholars, and students who are interested on the topic of environmental sustainability, new product development, and green brands.

This study explores the adsorption of doxycycline (DOX) from aqueous solutions onto biochar derived from banana peel, which was prepared using a potassium hydroxide activation method (KOH-BPB). The biochar properties were characterized based on morphology, surface area (SBET of 710.241 ㎡ g−1), functional groups, and surface charge (pHPZC = 7.7). Parameters, including initial pH, DOX concentration, and ionic strength, that influenced the DOX adsorption capacity of KOH-BPB were examined. Adsorption equilibrium of DOX on KOH-BPB was assessed through four isothermal models: the Langmuir, Freundlich, Temkin, and Dubinin-Radushkevich models. The obtained data were most compatible with the Langmuir model (R² = 0.9879). KOH-BPB has a maximum DOX absorption capacity of 121.95 mg g-1 which exceeds that of many comparable absorbents. The maximum DOX removal was 96.7% at pH 6, a DOX concentration of 20 mg L-1, and a KOH-BPB dose of 1.0g L-1. These findings reveal that biochar from banana peel effectively removes antibiotic residues from water. This study provides a potential, low-cost, and environmentally friendly adsorbent.
AN EFFECTIVE SEGMENT PRE-FETCHING FOR SHORT-FORM VIDEO STREAMING
Nguyen Viet Hung,Truong Thu Huong International Journal of Computer ScienceNetwork S 2023 International journal of computer science and netw Vol.23 No.3
The popularity of short-form video platforms like TikTok has increased recently. Short-form videos are significantly shorter than traditional videos, and viewers regularly switch between different types of content to watch. Therefore, a successful prefetching strategy is essential for this novel type of video. This study provides a resource-effective prefetching technique for streaming short-form videos. The suggested solution dynamically adjusts the quantity of prefetched video data based on user viewing habits and network traffic conditions. The results of the experiments demonstrate that, in comparison to baseline approaches, our method may reduce data waste by 21% to 83%, start-up latency by 50% to 99%, and the total time of Re-buffering by 90% to 99%.

In this study a novel Ag-doped graphitic carbon nitride (g-C3N4) photocatalyst was synthesized and appliedas high efficientmaterial under solarlight towardsemerging antibiotic pollutantin hospital wastewater. Thetetracycline (TC) was chosen as a target pollutant and the content of Ag doping at 3 mmol revealed thehighest photocatalytic degradation efficiency of TC (96.8%) after 120 min under solar light irradiation. Thephotoluminescence and UV–vis analysis confirmed the enhancement of charge separation and transfer inthe graphitic carbon structure after Ag-doping. The removal efficiency of TC using g-C3N4 and Ag-doped g-C3N4 (AgCN) underdark conditions was only 25.6 and 31.8%, respectively. While under solarlight conditions, the removal efficiency of TC increased to 68.3 and 96.8% for g-C3N4 and AgCN, respectively. The reusabilityprocess showed that AgCN displayed extremely high stability after 6 cycles without significant drop inantibiotic degradation efficiency. The application of AgCN was tested for treatment of TC from hospitalwastewater and it showed high removal efficiency of 89.6% within 120 min reaction time. In addition, theintermediatesgeneratedandreductionof total organiccarbon(TOC)duringthephotocatalyticreactionweredetected to support information of possible TC removal mechanism.

Since machine learning was invented, there have been many different machine learning-based algorithms, from shallow learning to deep learning models, that provide solutions to the classification tasks. But then it poses a problem in choosing a suitable classification algorithm that can improve the classification/detection efficiency for a certain network context. With that comes whether an algorithm provides good performance, why it works in some problems and not in others. In this paper, we present a data-centric analysis to provide a way for selecting a suitable classification algorithm. This data-centric approach is a new viewpoint in exploring relationships between classification performance and facts and figures of data sets.

The study aims to contribute to the improvement of project management in Vietnam. It focuses on developing new critical success factors (CSFs) which can be used to assess the success of project management in the country. This is a promising issue considering the rapid changes occurring within the business environment. The reason is because CSFs carry great consequences on project management issues, particularly in the context of Vietnam, which is currently experiencing many big scale projects involving both local and foreign investors. Two applications are utilised. One is to adapt the business model of Belassi and Tukel (1996) to observe the transitional and emerging economy of Vietnam. The other is to examine the data collected from a survey to examine the new CSFs which can then be used to assess the success of its projects and project management in Vietnam. The research results showed some remarkable differences between CSFs of Vietnam and foreign countries in both number of success factors and its impact levels which should be paid attention by foreign project managers/owners when doing investment and project management in Vietnam. The outcome generated can be useful to project owners/managers as well as policy makers in Vietnam’s business environment.
