흡연 및 비흡연 정신분열증 환자간의 인지 기능과 치료 반응의 차이

연구 배경 : 본 연구는 정신분열증 환자에서 흡연 여부에 따라 정신분열증 환자군의 정신과적 과거력 및 현재 증상, 치료 반응과 인지 기능 등에 어떤 차이가 있는 지를 알아보려는 것이다. 연구 방법 : 정신분열증 환자 중 36명의 흡연군과 31명의 비흡연군을 연구 대상으로 하였다. 현재의 증상을 평가하기 위해서 양성 및 음성 증상 척도(Positive & Negative Syndrome Scale) 및 전반적 기능 평가 척도(Global Assessment Scale)를 상용하였고, 추체외로계 부작용을 추체외로계 부장용 평가척도(Rating Scale for Extrapyramidal Side Effects)로 측정하였다. 흡연군과 비흡연군의 인지 기능을 평가하기 위해 비엔나 검사 중 SPM(Standard Progressive Matrices), Cognitron 및 FFA(Flicker Fusion Analyzer) 검사를 실시하였다. 연구 결과 : 1) 흡연군과 비흡연군에 비해 유병 기간이 유의하게 길었음에도 불구하고, 입원 시의 증상 정도(PANSS 총점)가 유의하게 낮았고, 기능 정도(GAS 점수) 역시 유의하게 높았다. 2) 정신분열증의 치료 반응에 영향을 미칠 것으로 생각되는 나이와 유병 기간을 통제한 상태에서 흡연여부에 따른 치료 반응의 차이를 검증해 본 결과, 흡연 여부에 따른 일일 약물 사용량, 추체외로계 부작용 및 증상 호전율(PANSS 호전율)이나 기능 호전율(GAS 호전율)에 유의한 차이는 없었다. 또한 인지 기능에 영향을 미칠 것으로 생각되는 나이, 유병 기간, 항전신병약물 용량 및 증상의 정도를 통제한 상태에서 흡연 여부에 따른 인지 기능의 차이를 검증해 본 결과, 흡연 여부에 따른 SPM 값, COG-R 및 FFA 갑의 차이는 없었다. 3) 흡연군 내에서 흡연 정도와 치료 반응 및 인지 검사 점수와의 관계를 알아보기 위해, 나이와 유병 기간 요인을 통제한 상태에서 일일 평균 흡연량과 여러 임상 척도와의 상관 관계를 분석해 보았다. 그 결과 일일 흡연량과 증상 호전율(PANSS 호전율) 이나 기능 호전율(GAG 호전율) 사이에 통계적으로 유의한 상관 관계를 보였다. 그러나 총 흡연 기간은 치료 반응 및 인지 기능과는 통계적으로 유의한 상관 관계를 보이지 않았다. 결 론 : 이상의 결과를 종합해 보면 흡연 정신분열증군은 비흡연 정신분열증군에 비해 입원 시 증상이 경미하고 기능이 좋으며, 흡연 정신분열증군에서는 흡연량이 많을수록 치료 시 증상 및 기능이 호전율이 높다고 할 수 있다. 그러나 흡연군에서 일일 약물 사용량이 높다거나, 추체외로계 부작용이 덜 나타난다거나 지능 저하가 덜하다는 이전의 연구 결과들은 입증되지 않았다. Objectives : The purpose of this study was to examine the differences of past histories, current symptoms, treatment responses and cognitive and functions between smoking and nonsmoking schizophrenic patients. Methods : The subjects were composed of 67 schizophrenic patients including 36 smokers and 31 non-smokers. They were examined by psychiatric history checklist, Simpson and Angus's rating scale for extrapyramidal side effects, positive & negative syndromes scale(PANSS), global assessment scale(GAS), and Vienna test including Standard Progressive Matrices(SPM), Cognitron, and Flicker Fusion Analyzer(FFA). Results : The results were as follows : 1) Although the duration of illness of smokers was longer than that of non-smokers, the smokers had significantly higher score of GAS and significantly lower score of PANSS than non-smokers at admission. 2) With effects of age and duration of illness controlled, there were no differences of mean dosage of neuroleptics, extrapyramidal side effects, PANSS improvement rate and GAS improvement rate between both groups. 3) With effect of age, duration of illness, and total PANSS score controlled, there were no differences of score of SPM, cognitron, and FFA. 4) In smokers, the PANSS improvement rate and the GAS improvement rate were positively correlated with mean number of daily smoked cigarettes, with effects of age and duration of illness controlled. Conclusions : In schizophrenic patients, smokers had less severe symptoms than non-smokers. In smokers, the PANSS improvement rate and the GAS improvement rate were positively correlated with mean number of daily smoked cigarettes. But Smokers were not proven to have received higher dosage of neuroleptics, to have lower extrapyramidal side effects, or to have less severe impairment of cognitive function.

SummaryFive shading levels (0, 5, 50, 75 and 90%) were investigated for their effects on growth and yield of Liriope platyphylla Wang et Tang. The results obtained were summarized as follows;1. Plant height and leaf length increased with increasing shading levels up to 50% and then decreased with further increasing shading. Leaf width ranging from 0.49 to 0.52cm tended to linearly decrease as shading level was increased. 2. SPAD reading was linearly increased from 56.9 to 69.5 as shading level was increased from 0 to 90%. 3. There was no difference in fresh leaf weight among shading levels. However, fresh weight of roots, tuberous roots, and shoots + roots decreased with increasing shading level. 4. The number of tuberous roots per plant decreased from 21.4 at 0% shading to 11.8 at 90% shading. Dry weight per tuberous root was heaviest (0.4g) at 35% shading and then declined with increasing shading level. 5. Dry tuberous root yield per plant ranged from 6.5g at 0% shading to 3.1g at 90% shading showing linear relationship between yield and shading level. Yield per plant highly correlated wish the number of tuberous roots per plant. 6. The results indicate that growing Liriope platyphylla Wang et Tang under shading has no advantage in Cheju province.

A probabilistic analysis model, one of reliability analysis methods introducing the concept of probabilistic variables, was developed to investigate the uncertainty of dominant factors influencing the degree of consolidation in the radial consolidation theories. Based on the developed probabilistic analysis model, sensitivity study of those factors was performed to find their trends of affecting the degree of consolidation in the vertical drain method. Various radial consolidation theories, Proposed by Barron(1948), Hansbo(1979), Yoshikuni(1979) and 0noue(1988), were used for this parametric study with the influencing factors such as size of smear zone, reduction ratio of permeability in the smear zone, discharge capacity, permeability for horizontal flow and coefficient of consolidation for horizontal flow. As results of this sensitivity study, for the given consolidation theory, contribution of each factor to the degree of consolidation was figure out and compared to each other. For the given value of each factor, the sensitivity to the degree of consolidation in the various theories was evaluated and their applicability and limitations were assessed.

The purpose of the study was to examine the relationship among style of leadership, job satisfaction, and efficacy of sport service organization. In order to achive this purpose three reaserch questions were established. Participants for this study were 300 of 23-50 overaged public workers. Of participations valid data were 279. They completed a modified inventory of the style of leadership, job satisfaction and efficacy of sport service organization. More details, style of leadership Scale modified by Ahn(2000), job satisfaction by Ahn (2000) and efficacy of sport service organization by Kim(2001) were using after remodifing scale to investigate the purpose of this study. Results were analysed in quantitative approaches. Data were collected through self-administered survey. The most three meaningful results of the study were as follows; First, there was influenced to relationship between style of leadership and job satisfaction. Second, there was influenced to relationship between style of leadership and efficacy of sport service organization. Third, there was influenced to relationship among style of leadership, job satisfaction, and efficacy of sport service organization.

This paper is the research result about centrifuge model experiments of investigating the behavior of bridge abutment on the sloped ground. Ground condition of the studied site was the bridge abutment with pile foundation adjacent to the slope. The pile foundations was supported on the soft rocks covered with the embankment. Evaluating the behavior of such a complicate ground and structure conditions was not easy so that the centrifuge modelling was performed to find the overall behavior of them. Layout of centrifuge model experiment was simplified to simulate easily the actual behavior of very complicate site condition. Construction process in field such as ground excavation for footing foundation, installation of piles, Placement of footing and bridge abutment, backfilling and surcharge loading eas duplicated in the centrifuge model experiment, Consequently, the stability of the piled bridge abutment adjacent to the slope of embankment was evaluated throughout centrifuge modelling.

This study was conducted to detect the allelopathic effect of water and ethanol extracts from 4 plant species (Lactuca sativa L., Ambrosia elatior L., Oenothenra odorata Jasp., Ginkgo biloba L.) on germination and growth of lettuce seeds. A little bit higher inhibitory effect was obtained in ethanol extracts rather than water extracts. Allelopathic effects varied in the source of extracts and concentrations of 4 plant species and the highest allelopathic effect appeared in 10% solution, regardless of plant species.

Centrifuge model tests were performed to find appropriate equations proposed previously of estimating the bearing capacity of the composite clayey soil reinforced with sand compaction pile. Model tests were carried out with changing the replacement ratio of SCP (20%, 40%, 70%), contents of fine materials (5%, 10%, 15%) and ratio of treated width to loading width (1B, 2B, 3B). Test results about bearing capacity of the composite ground were obtained by performing the surcharge load tests with measurements of applied loads and vertical displacement. Bearing capacities against bulging and shear failures were estimated by the existing equations. As results of comparing the estimated bearing capacity with experimental values the bearing capacities estimated by Greenwood's equation (1970) for bulging failure mode were similar to the test results.

A multi-functional indoor smog chamber was designed and evaluated lo investigate photochenical or water vapor reaction mechanisms of air pollutants. Various smog chamber experiments could be conducted using ambient air or purified air in this smog chamber. The smog chamber consisted of a housing, a Teflon bag, blacklights, injection ports, sampling ports, and utility facilities. The characteristics of light source, the wall losses of air pollutants, and the quality of purified air were experimentally investigated. The maximum NO₂ photolysis rate was 1.10min^(-1). In a 2.5-m³ Teflon bag, the wall losses of ambient O₃, NO, and NO₂were 1.2~2.4×10^(-3)min^(-1), 0.7~2.0×10^(-3)min^(-1), and 0.4-2.0×10^(-3)min^(-1), respectively. The wall loss of ambient particles ranging 0.05 to 0.2㎛ was 1.8~5.4×10^(-3)min^(-1), which was slightly higher than those of ambient gaseous species. The purified air supply system provided high quality of air with NO₂, < 1 ppb, and total hydrocarbons <5 ppb.
연직배수공법의 스미어존이 압밀에 미치는 영향에 관한 수치해석

In this paper, an numerical approach is performed to investigate the effects of smear zone, occurred by penetrating vertical drains, on consolidation behavior of soft clay deposits. Such a numerical analysis is applied to the field condition to confirm its applicability. Parametric numerical analyses is carried out to study influencing factors such as permeability in smear zone, boundary of smear zone and discharge capacity of vertical drains on the consolidation of soil. As results of analyses, for the given conditions of soil, degree of consolidation is getting faster with increase of permeability of vertical drain. Degree of consolidation is delayed with decrease of permeability of smear zone. As the ratio of drain width to smear zone increases, the degree of consolidation decreases. Proposed values of influencing factors by previous researchers is found to be reliable from results of numerical analyses with Cam-clay model.
생체용 Ti합금의 양극분극특성에 미치는 Zr 및 Pd의 영향

The corrosion resistance of Ti-Zr-Pd-Cr alloys were investigated in order to reveal their possible use for new biomedical implant materials. Titanium alloys consisting of 10∼20%Zr, 0.0∼0.4%Pd and 0.15%Cr were prepared by vacuum arc-melting as alloying elements instead of using hardness Al and V in response to recent concerns about the long term safety of Ti-6%Al-4%V ELI alloys. The Ti-Zr-Pd-Cr alloys were heat-treated at 1000℃ for 2hrs under a vacuum atmosphere. The effect of Zr and Pd Ti alloys on the corrosion resistance for biomedical implant was investigating the anodic polarization curve at 37℃ in 5%HCI solution deaerated by high-purity N₂gas bubbling. The critical current density for passivation(I ) of Ti-Zr-Pd-Cr alloys didn't reveal markedly. Passive current density(I ) at 1.0V vs. SCE of this alloys decreased with increasing Zr in the contents from 10 to 20% and decreased with containing Pd in the range from 0.2 to 0.4%. Potential(E ) at 0.1A * m-² of this alloys increased with increasing Zr in the contents from 10 to 20% and increased with containing Pd in the range from 0.2 to 0.4%. For the Co-30%Cr-6%Mo alloy, passivity zone is narrow, and rapid increase of current density result from the low potential in comparison with Ti and Ti alloys. The corrosion resistance by the anodic polarization of Ti-20%Zr-0.2%Pd-0.15%Cr alloy was found to be superior to those of the Ti, Ti-6%Al-4%V alloy and Co-30%Cr-6%Mo alloy. The passive films formed on the Ti-20%Zr-0.2%Pd-0.15%Cr and Ti-6%Al-4%V alloys in the anodic polarization test consist mainly of TiO₂, Ti compound, ZrO₂, Al₂O₃and V₂O₃.
