        Residential Satisfaction with Long-Term Public Rental Housing

        The objective of this study is to investigate the determinants that affect residential satisfaction of long-term public rental housing. This study developed all fundamental variables using the database of “Residential satisfaction of residents in public rental housing” carried out with a survey of residents in National Rental Housing in Korea. This study categorized determinants to affect residential satisfaction into six major factors such as product physical factor, residential environment factor, operating service factor, repair service factor, economic factor, and personal factor. Using confirmatory factor analysis, ANOVA, and regression analysis, this study analyzed the effects of each factor and determinant on overall residential satisfaction. The results of this study provide implications for residential satisfaction with long-term public rental housing in Korea. This study also suggests that the crucial determinants that affect overall residential satisfaction are economic factors such as rent levels and maintenance fees, and that economic factor should be significantly addressed to improve residential satisfaction with long-term public rental housing.

        크립켄슈타인과 크루소

        본 논문은 후기 비트겐슈타인(L.Wittgenstein)에 대한 크립키(S.A.Kripke)의 해석을 살펴보고, 크립키의 해석과 관련된 남기창 박사와 이승종 박사의 논쟁을 다룬 뒤에 이와 관련된 새로운 견해를 제시하는 논문이다. 크립키는 비트겐슈타인이 제시하는 규칙 따르기 논변을 ‘회의적 역설’이라고 해석했다. 회의적 역설에 따르면 (언어적) 규칙 따르기를 보장해 줄 수 있는 어떤 사실도 존재하지 않는다. 그는 이에 대해 비트겐슈타인이 ‘회의적 해결책’을 제시했다고 보았다. ‘회의적 해결책’은 언어의 의미가 공동체적이고 맥락 의존적으로 결정된다는 후기 비트겐슈타인의 언어관에 기반을 둔 해결책이다. 이 언어관에 따라 우리는 공동체를 통해 정당하게 규칙 따르기 테스트를 받을 수 있게 된다. 그리고 이를 통해 규칙을 따른다는 내적, 외적 대응 사실이 없더라도 언어적 규칙 따르기를 정당화 할 수 있게 된다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 크립키의 비트겐슈타인 해석을 둘러싼 남기창 박사와 이승종 박사의 논쟁에 대해 다루고, 크립키를 옹호하는 새로운 해석을 제시한다. This paper examines the interpretation of S. A. Kripke on Wittgenstein’s Rule-Following problem and presents a new perspective on the disputes of Dr. Nam Ki-chang and Dr. Lee Seung-jong. Kripke interpreted Wittgenstein’s rules-following argument as a “skeptical paradox.” According to the skeptical paradox, there are no facts that can guarantee (linguistic) rules to follow. He also argued that Wittgenstein had presented a “skeptical solution.” The ‘Skeptical solution’ is a solution based on the later Wittgenstein’s view on language that the meaning of language is determined by a contextual and communal way. According to this view on language, we can legally follow the rules through the test of the community. This view also allows us to justify our Rule-Following status, even if there are no internal or external facts about following the rules. This is the so-called Kripkenstein interpretation. In this paper, I discuss the disputes between Nam Ki-chang and Lee Seung-Jong about Kripkenstein interpretation and present a new interpretation of the Crusoe problem, which is suggested on Kripkenstein interpretation, to advocate Kripke.

        전자빔 증착법으로 증착한 MgO - CaO 박막의 교류형 PDP 보호막 적용을 위한 저전압 특성 연구

        Plasma Display Panel(PDP)에서 보호막 물질로 사용중인 MgO의 특성을 개선하기 위하여 본 연구에서는 MgO-CaO 박막을 전자빔 증착법으로 제조하였다. MgO의 최대 증착속도는 1025 Å/min이었으며 CaO 첨가비가 증가함에 따라 증착속도는 감소하였고, XRD 패턴은 전체적 으로 낮은 2θ각 방향으로 이동하였다. MgO에 대한 CaO의 최대 고용도는 0.13이다. 최적전압특정을 나타낸 조성은 Mg 47.1 at%, Ca 1.3 at%, O 51.6 at%이었으며 이때 방전개시전압은 176 V, 메모리마진은 0.5였으며 증착속도는 515 Å/min이었다. MgO-CaO protective layers with various composition were prepared by electron beam evaporation to improve the characteristics of conventional pure MgO thin films as a protective layer for AC-PDP. The maximum deposition rate of pure MgO was 1025 Å/min and decreased with increasing [(CaO / (MgO + CaO)] ratio of evaporation starting materials. From XRD analyses, a trend of peak shift to the lower 2θ angle side was shown as CaO content increased and it stoped when the concentration of CaO was 0.13, which corresponds to the maximum solubility of CaO in MgO. The optimum composition of the protective thin films was Mg 47.1 at%, Ca 1.3 at%, O 51.6 at%, and firing voltage, memory margin and deposition rate of the film with this composition was 176 V, 0.5 and 515 Å/min, respectively.

      • A Home Connection Program to Promote Mathematical Interactions of Parents: Effects on Parents’ Mathematical Interactions, Parent-Teacher Cooperative Relationship, and Three-Year-Olds’ Mathematical Ability

        This study aims to investigate the effects of a home connection program in promoting parental mathematical interaction, teacher-parent cooperative relationship, and 3-year-olds’ mathematical ability. Forty-two 3-year-olds and their parents, from two childcare centers, were sampled; 21 children from one center served as the experimental group, and 21 children from the other center served as the comparison group. In order to investigate significant differences between the two groups, independent and paired t-tests were carried out after 26 sessions of the home connection program over 9 weeks applied to the experimental group. As a result, the home connection program was shown to contribute to the enhancement of parents’ mathematical interaction, parent-teacher cooperative relationship, and 3-year-olds’ mathematical ability. This study can make an important contribution to further research on the development of more practical home connection programs for improving a developmentally appropriate home environment to aid children’s mathematics learning.

        만 3세 유아 부모의 수학적 상호작용 증진을 위한 가정연계 프로그램의 개발 및 적용

        Objective: This study aimed to develop and apply the home connection program for promoting the mathematical interaction of parents of 3-year-olds. Methods: We surveyed questionnaires for 36 parents and interviewed 3 parents of 3-year-olds for the development of the program. Twenty-one 3-year-olds were selected as participants in the program. Quantitative data from a checklist for parent s mathematical interaction were analyzed using repeated measures ANOVA. Qualitative data from self-evaluation of teachers and parents were categorized and analyzed in terms of meaning. Results: Based on the home connection program, the session were provided in the following order [educare center activities ➠ home-linked activities ➠ home+educare integrated activities] and in each session, the three-step course [sharing of thinking ➠ gathering of thinking ➠ broadening of thinking] was applied. Implementation of this program led to promoting parental mathematical interaction. Conclusion/Implications: This study will lead to follow-up studies that reveal positive effects of our program.

        교류형 플라즈마 디스플레이용 MgO 박막의 조성변화에 따른 방전전압특성의 영향

        AC-PDF 용 표면 보호막 물질인 MgO 박막을 rf magnetron sputtering법으로 제작하고 박막의 조성비 변화가 PDP소자의 방전전압특성에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 증착시 산소함량비[O₂/(Ar+O₂)]가 0에서 0.1까지 증가함에 따라 MgO 박막은 (111) 방향에서 (200)방향으로 그 우선성장 결정방향이 변하였다. [O₂/(Ar+O₂)]가 0.1에서 조성비가 잘 일치하는 박막을 얻을 수 있었고, 입자 크기가 증가하였으며 수산화기(hydroxyl groups)의 오염도가 최소화 되었다. 조성비가 잘 일치할 경우 PDP 소자에서 표면 보호막으로 사용 되었을 때 소자의 구동전압이 최소화 되었다. MgO thin films were deposited on soda lime glass substrates by rf magnetron sputtering using a MgO target at various oxygen flow ratios in order to probe the relationship between MgO film properties and discharge characteristics. MgO films have a tendency to form microstructures with a preferred growth orientation of (200) with increasing oxygen flow ratio up to 0.1/O₂/(Ar+O₂). MgO film obtained at 0.1 [O₂/(Ar+O₂)] was found to be fully stoichiometric. The stoichiometric MgO film was observed to have relatively very clean surface and grains of large size and contain almost no hydroxyl group. The AC PDP with fully stoichiometric MgO film showed lower firing and sustain voltages than those with magnesium-rich or oxygen-rich MgO films, being largely attributed to the larger grain size and the minimized hydroxyl group.
