There are results of investigation into 16 architectural technical books and 31 buildings about wooden roof truss in modern age of Korea. Both Korea and Japan received the technology and culture of architecture from the West. Japan received wooden structural techniques from west as need to seismic and fireproof after 1891(濃尾地震). The roof structure of japan architecture in the course of 30 years, evolved into combining traditional wooden structure with wooden roof truss. In modern age of Korea, wooden roof truss was flowed directly by foreigners. In process of time, Korea carpenters recognized necessity to improve wood structure by using the bracing and tie beam, and had continually made efforts for joining the roof style of Korea and West.

        Lin, jinhua,김태영 한국농촌건축학회 2007 농촌건축 : 한국농촌건축학회논문집 Vol.9 No.25

Rutian village is situated at the lower stream of Tumen river- U shaped entrance which is around many small mountains. This village which can be entered through the ferry of the HyoRyongBong village had started to be founded before the "Korean village"was founded. It was cultivated by Chinese, but because of the increasing number of the Korean immigrants, it finally became the village for only Korean Chinese. It has become from the very small village in the reclamation period to the prosperous one containing 45 houses in the Cultural Revolution period. Unfortunately, after adopting the Open policy, the village got smaller and contained only 15 houses. The reasons were: many young people emigrated to big cities for economic security and the education of their children; some went abroad to get job.To see the space structure for the village, streets and the roads, which can connect 130-year-old village to the villages around it, were opened as national roads. Bat these roads disappeared and also were not used much because of the decreasing number of resident population. The residence has become from the very small village in the reclamation period to the prosperous one and then become a smaller one again now. Especially, front villages and remote villages have started to disappear. Moreover, because of a good geographical condition such as the mountain and the water, fish farms have been much built up, and so houses with business facilities have started to build up.

Improved Sliding Shapes for Instance Segmentation of Amodal 3D Object

( Jinhua Lin ),( Yu Yao ),( Yanjie Wang ) 한국인터넷정보학회 2018 KSII Transactions on Internet and Information Syst Vol.12 No.11

State-of-art instance segmentation networks are successful at generating 2D segmentation mask for region proposals with highest classification score, yet 3D object segmentation task is limited to geocentric embedding or detector of Sliding Shapes. To this end, we propose an amodal 3D instance segmentation network called A3IS-CNN, which extends the detector of Deep Sliding Shapes to amodal 3D instance segmentation by adding a new branch of 3D ConvNet called A3IS-branch. The A3IS-branch which takes 3D amodal ROI as input and 3D semantic instances as output is a fully convolution network(FCN) sharing convolutional layers with existing 3d RPN which takes 3D scene as input and 3D amodal proposals as output. For two branches share computation with each other, our 3D instance segmentation network adds only a small overhead of 0.25 fps to Deep Sliding Shapes, trading off accurate detection and point-to-point segmentation of instances. Experiments show that our 3D instance segmentation network achieves at least 10% to 50% improvement over the state-of-art network in running time, and outperforms the state-of-art 3D detectors by at least 16.1 AP.

The Construction of the Heterostructural Bi2O3/g-C3N4 Composites with an Enhanced Photocatalytic Activity

        Jinhua Zhang,Huiyue Qian,Wencheng Liu,Hao Chen,Yang Qu,Zhidong Lin 성균관대학교(자연과학캠퍼스) 성균나노과학기술원 2018 NANO Vol.13 No.6

A heterostructural composite composed of g-C3N4 and Bi2O3 was achieved by the one-pot and thermal-induced polycondensation method using melamine and Bi(NO3)3 as precursor at 550 ℃ under air atmosphere. The crystalline phase, components and morphologies of the as-prepared composites were investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). Besides, the photocatalytic activity of composites was evaluated by degrading RhB aqueous solution at room temperature under visible light irradiation. Compared with bulk g-C3N4, the photocatalytic efficiency of the 0.5% Bi2O3/g-C3N4 (Bi–CN) was increased by up to four times. The introduction of Bi2O3 enhances not only the light absorption ability, but also the separation of photogenerated electron–hole pairs.

Original Article: Bioactive Materials : Screening the Antibacterial Activities of Streptomyces Extracts against Phytopathogens Xanthomonas oryzae pathovar oryzae, Xanthomonas campestris pathovar vesicatoria, and Pectobacterium carotovorum pathovar carotov

( Seung Hwan Kim ),( Jinhua Cheng ),( Seung Hwan Yang ),( Joo Won Suh ),( Eun Sung Song ),( Lin Woo Kang ),( Jeong Gu Kim ) 한국응용생명화학회 2015 Journal of Applied Biological Chemistry (J. Appl. Vol.58 No.3

Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzae (Xoo), X. campestris pv. vesicatoria (Xcv), and Pectobacterium carotovorum pv. carotovorum (Pcc) are the causative agents of bacterial blight in rice, bacterial spot in pepper, and bacterial soft rot in carrot and cabbage, respectively. To isolate novel microbial extracts with antimicrobial activities against these bacteria, approximately 5,300 different Streptomyces extracts were prepared and tested. Microbial cultures from various Streptomyces strains isolated from the Jeju Island, Baekam, Mankyoung river, Jiri mountain etc. in Korea were extracted into three different factions -secreted hydrophobic, secreted hydrophilic, and mycelia- using ethyl acetate, water, and methanol. Initially, 34, 29, and 10 extracts were selected as having antibacterial activities against Xoo, Xcv, and Pcc, respectively. Extracts 1169G4, 1172E9, and 1172E10 had the highest growth inhibition activities against both Xoo and Xcv, and extracts 1151H7 and 1152H7 showed the highest growth inhibition activities against Pcc.

Biotransformation of Panax ginseng extract by rat intestinal microflora

        Wei-Wei Dong,Jinhua Zhao,Fei-Liang Zhong,Wen-Jing Zhu,Jun Jiang,Songquan Wu,Deok-Chun Yang,Donghao Li,Lin-Hu Quan 고려인삼학회 2017 Journal of Ginseng Research Vol.41 No.4

Background: In general, after Panax ginseng is administered orally, intestinal microbes play a crucial role in its degradation and metabolization process. Studies on the metabolism of P. ginseng by microflora are important for obtaining a better understanding of their biological effects. Methods: In vitro biotransformation of P. ginseng extract by rat intestinal microflora was investigated at 37C for 24 h, and the simultaneous determination of the metabolites and metabolic profile of P. ginseng saponins by rat intestinal microflora was achieved using LCeMS/MS. Results: A total of seven ginsenosides were detected in the P. ginseng extract, including ginsenosides Rg1, Re, Rf, Rb1, Rc, Rb2, and Rd. In the transformed P. ginseng samples, considerable amounts of deglycosylated metabolite compound K and Rh1 were detected. In addition, minimal amounts of deglycosylated metabolites (ginsenosides Rg2, F1, F2, Rg3, and protopanaxatriol-type ginsenosides) and untransformed ginsenosides Re, Rg1, and Rd were detected at 24 h. The results indicated that the primary metabolites are compound K and Rh1, and the protopanaxadiol-type ginsenosides were more easily metabolized than protopanaxatriol-type ginsenosides. Conclusion: This is the first report of the identification and quantification of the metabolism and metabolic profile of P. ginseng extract in rat intestinal microflora using LCeMS/MS. The current study provided new insights for studying the metabolism and active metabolites of P. ginseng.
